I remember always hearing one of the biggest challenges with SNL is that you have to establish a sketch’s premise REALLY quickly. What I love about this is that it’s not until 0:59 that even the *most loyal* SNL fans will get where it’s going - and the buildup is literally cinematic. Love that they have the space to explore in that way.
Peter Yeah well I almost cried during the first one cuz honestly I thought the horse looked cute so the look on his face when Timothée was yelling at him to leave.
timothee chalamet's ability to make sketches that could go wrong in many ways so not cringey is amazing ! he really is naturally gifted actor who will go on to do great things I am sure !
My daughter is gonna be sooooo happy with this sketch since she cried when the tiny horse went away in the first one!! Thank you, its a Christmas miracle!!
I am amazed how quickly the SNL teams put all these skits together. From the writers, props, artists, actors, musicians, computer techies, etc. So much to do.
SERIOUSLY, though. Think about it: sets, scripts, wardrobe, VFX, stop motion, song composition, instrumentation, recording. It’s cool to see the behind the scenes on the stop motion (Friday!), but I do wonder when the rest of it was done. They might’ve had the concept before the week started, but everything else - that is some SERIOUS coordination, above and beyond normal sketches!
Why yes, I did cry because he and Tiny Horse were finally reunited.. 😂The original sketch always made me sad, so this was a lovely, unexpected conclusion 🥰 Thanks, SNL writers!

By far the best skit of the week. Great job writers! I'm surprised no one has commented on Bowen's role as "Socket", the laser eyed cyborg, who ends up singing as just a head at the end. Too funny, and so touching!
I watch RUclips on my tv, so I never comment, just read. I had to pull this up on my phone because I HAD to comment! This is some movie star quality acting in my opinion!
Look I get she's easy to simp over, but she had 1 generic line and was onscreen for about 10 seconds total. Let's relax on throwing her the academy award for it.
I love how nobody cares that Chalamet's character is immortal, having survived from the present on a farm to the futuristic battles in space without aging.
The other amazing thing about this - beyond the tiny horse sequel - is that it’s a synthesis of Timothy’s two big hits of the year; an epic sci fi and a whimsical musical!
Wow. This is definitely the amazing sequel I never knew I needed in my life! The second I saw Chalamrt sing Tiny Horse on TV, I was literally jumping for joy! Man, this has gotta the best sketch of the entire night!

Every now and then SNL doubles down on a questionable premise and strikes gold. This of course now needs to be a trilogy.

The writers must have taken a LOT of Horse Dewormer while writing this sketch. Crazy but brilliant.
But it would clash with the Adderall, fear, and weed that the writers already take.
The shock of the combo of the Tiny horse sequel, the Star Wars Parody, the shock factor of watching the first time was amazing
