Hey joe i just bought those swing optix camera! Do i absolutely need a uneekor launch monitor to use them or i will be able to use them with my garmin r10?
They are Uneekor cameras so they will need to be connected to the view software. I'm not sure if you could just run and use them as normal cameras tbh I don't see why you couldn't connect them to kinovea.. please keep me posted!
Kind of a bummer you can’t just get the mat. I don’t care to look at my swing haha. I just want to see how my pressure gets transferred to work from there. Great video
Thanks mate yeah I agree it would be nice to be able to get the mat and use it and then potentially add the cameras later... I don't know why they can't do that.
Honestly I kind of get it. Without seeing your position via swing optics, it might be difficult to understand what the balance pad is showing you and why the results are what they are. To my way of seeing it. Swing optics is far more valuable than the balance pad and the balance pad is a nice add on to reinforce the swing optics.
Hey mate I have been thinking about this for a while now! I'd just need to figure out exactly how I would do it and really make it a quality service. And it would be limited to a few people as well just due to time constraints. Leave it with me and I'll do some research and will keep you updated through the channel and the Facebook group! I think now with all the technology people have at their disposal I don't see why online lessons wouldn't work they are a lot more efficient and people are comfortable in their own environment. Cheers
So after seeing this video, I see that the Uneekor ecosystem was a top driver (no pun intended) in purchasing the Eye Mini, along with supported integration with GSPro. Allows you to really nerd out on all the data provided by these devices. I’m a data person (IT by trade)so I would totally go down a rabbit hole with all of this. I agree with your stance - will this tech make you better. You need a coach and you can leverage all of this to practice between sessions…
Yes it was definitely a consideration. I have to say I'm pretty blown away by the view software! The functionality and data display is pretty incredible. They just need to fix those misreads!!!! They are unacceptable for a unit in this share of the market. As well as tweaking the club and ball speeds..
@@JLagGOLF as an I many owner. I totally agree with your comment here. I think the sweet spot for placing the ball for your next shot is about 1 inch behind the monitor, which for me is to the right of the monitor. When I place the ball there I seem to get less of those goofy reads every once in a while. I figured out a way I can run GS pro with the mini and not have to buy a new laptop. I can run it at medium or high resolution, which is more than good enough and I am absolutely loving using the unit with GS pro. The integration is just so clean that I t makes it worthwhile. When I’m practicing instead of playing, I actually use the View Air software with the iPad. It is so fast and being able to see the impact imagery is absolutely awesome for understanding why the ball reacted the way it did. I spent a lot more than I wanted to get the Eye Mini but I think I got the right launch monitor for the kind of work I wanna do on my golf swing.
If I purchased a mat system like this I would figure out a way to customize a “in & out” stance mat panel that is the same depth so when using the pressure mat my final grade w/ the ball is the same while I’m using the tool. I’m to OCD to stand higher than the ball in a controlled environment😂
Same thing with those cool strike mats that show your divot It won’t be long before Uneekor and others like them will also sell their own stance / strike mats where you simply swap out panels depending on what you are working on or how particular you are with feel & action We have learned so much so quickly!:)
@@benwilmarth5473Yeah absolutely I agree and that's just giving instant feedback to the user. Golf technology has really come a long way in just a few short years.. that's why there are all these good young players now! They come on tour and seem to win instantly because they are so much more in tune and aware of their swing and game. Gone are the days where it would take people 2 to 3 years of playing on tour to find their game. I find it all really interesting!
the mat is 1 in think on the section that houses the plug in ports the rest of the mat is a fraction in thickness and won't cause issues on stance height vs ball height.
Yes this will benefit you and your golf swing. Exciting stuff coming from UNEEKOR!
They really are creating their own ecosystem and I'm not against it! As long as it all works as advertised and I'm sure it will.. really cool stuff.

Jlag you still using performance optix?
Great vid mate.
Thanks! 🙏
Hey would you consider doing lessons if someone had the swing optix? Thanks

@@JLagGOLF Yes Sir, I would be interested in it for sure. Thanks

Seriously I'm not even kidding this was my biggest concern when I saw this!!!! Glad to know I'm not the only one that is so attentive to detail!
