I've had both on my car and these are the pros and cons I've noticed. Tube and fin - heat soaks quicker, displaces heat quicker, overall higher charge temps, less pressure drop, quicker turbo spool. Bar and plate - heat soaks slower, displaces heat slower, overall lower charge temps, more pressure drop, slower turbo spool.

Which one do you recommend on a s5 b9 for rolls and dig racing then?
If we runing around 500hp should use bar and plate for better ?
Also there is more pressure drop with bar and plate then a good tube and fin. 2 X more pressure drop in some cases.
Mishimoto R line bar and plate any good?
