If you like distortion/overdrive, try the RATT pedal on your bass. These are guitar pedals, but it responds really nice on bass. You'll have to turn down the treble on your amp and adjust the bass & mid tones to your liking. Another pedal worth trying is the legendary Ibanez TS808 Original Tube Screamer. Same, kill the treble and boost the bass and some mids.
Can I paint his winky goooold? Ha ha. So there's the Rascal pups at the neck pos but in gold w/fender logo....hmmm?! That Rascal bridge position humbuc sounds soooo good!!

How come Fender keeps selling basses that have pickups that aren’t properly fitted below the strings?? 1600 bucks for a bass that needs a setup right out of the box.
@@TeepleBasson the top of that 5th string on short scales sounds dead and muddy af...unless Serek basses, they do sound quite decent. But again, for that low frequencies you need a longer scale...is just phyisics.

I love my Squier VM Jaguar Bass and this Mike Kerr Fender Jaguar Bass looks and sounds great. Also love the bass riffs in this video.
