*If I could be anyone from movie history, I would be Pickford. Dude had the looks, got high, dealt weed, had a nice family, a big house, a Judge, and a beautiful gf who rolled the jays*
Love how real all of these characters are. I knew someone just like each of these people in high school. No wonder this movie is loved by some many people.
Fun Fact: This dude married Milla Jovovich during the filming of this when she was just 16 and he was 21. Her parents got the marriage annulled 2 months later. Also, The character of Pickford was supposed to have a larger role in the film, but several of his scenes were cut or shortened due to the actor causing problems with the other cast members on set and being difficult to work with. Supposedly, he and the actor who played Randall Pink Floyed especially didn't get along, and a physical altercation between the two had to be split up.
The guy that played Pickford was supposed to have a lot more scenes but he was a huge dick to everyone and even got into it physically with others. This led to the cast hating him and not wanting to work with him which led to a rewrite of the script and led to Matthew McConaugheys character getting his scenes. McConaughey was originally only supposed to have a couple of scenes.
I’m reading an oral history of this film currently and in the book they mention how this actor did not quite get along with the others on set. They thought he was stuck up and started referring to him as “Prickford”. He apparently almost got into a physical altercation with Jason London.
Yeah I heard about that too. Apparently he was supposed to be a bigger character in it but they shuffled around him because he was difficult to work with or something right? What’s the name of the book? I’d love to give it a read

Right, I'm gonna say this. I had the most monumental party end of Yr 11 and mine was the Pitford residence (even sounds like he said this). You could hear this thing from streets away. It was chaos. People fking in my parents bed, passed out, neighbours crying... Police got called, like the end of any great party at that time. My friend and I had a couple of dustbin loads of bottles and cans and at the crack of dawn trolleyed them up the road and dumped them into a bush only for some jogging neighbour dork to bang on the door that afternoon to get rid of. Worst was a guy a street over (few years older) had a party the same night and he and his buddies walked past as I was digging these cans out of the bushes and laughed at me.... Shit
