For decades, the legend of the BMW "Goldfisch" - a one-off 7-Series prototype powered by a monstrous V16 engine - has captivated car enthusiasts. This audacious engineering feat, shrouded in secrecy, represented the pinnacle of Bavarian automotive ambition. Now I made an indepth video on that car, so if you would like to know more go and watch it after this. However, unbeknownst to me to many others, the Goldfisch wasn't a solitary entity. In 1990, a second, and arguably more intriguing, V16 7-Series prototype emerged from the halls of BMW. But lets start this of in the beginning to give you some background. It wont be as in-depth as my other video but I feel it is necessary for the video.

BMW made a V16? Is Bugatti just copying that idea with the newest model they have showed the world?
Thanks Chris for this one! 👍💪✌
You did it again, Chris! Yet another prototype you introduced! Thank you!
this is also a jewel. can you pls make some investigation about the never released GM concepts? Cadillac, Pontiac, corvette....chevrolet, buick, Oldsmobile... something like the C7 mid engine, XLR II, etc...thanks again
Will do thanks😁
Impressive v16, beautiful cars. I changed out a starter in a BMW. Their engineers are evil! 🤣🤣😂
Was it mid-engined?
1:56 looks more like the V12 engine here.
Keen eye😂
@@ChrisVSCars you didn't have the V16 picture?
