- 2002 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke equipped with Speed of Air pistons achieves over 565HP and 1300 ft lbs of torque and California compliant emissions without the use of any after gas device!! This truck is running 55 mph with a 30,000 lb load. Notice the lack of opacity (black smoke) from the tail pipe!
We really need you to put up testing of STOCK vs STOCK engines, Soot/PM levels, NoX and Torque&HP comparisons .... BSFC testing would also be VERY helpful 👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah this is suspicious. they give hp numbers but nothing else. They dont even give dyno sheets, or results from emissions testing. All they give us is a video of a truck on a dyno without the results. Yeah theres a lack of opacity and thats great, but is it really making that power and does it really meet Cali emissions?
quiet and low smoke nice
READ THE DESCRIPTION IT EXPLAINS A LOT
Where's the #'s
It’s in the description
@@ThanksHero No they're not, they just give power numbers without showing anything in the video. Nor do they show proof of any emissions claims
@@jasonandrew5707 wow thanks for explaining everything to me super helpful totally didn’t know that before
What all was done to the truck besides the pistons
Nothing
7.3 doesnt get to 550+ hp on just pistons. This truck has a T4 kit and bigger injectors.
Stock Powdered graphite rods don’t stand up to the power it makes either
“In addition to installing SOA-modified pistons, Anderson used a mild camshaft, and a single Garrett T4 turbocharger with a turbine speed sensor and Turbosmart HyperGate45 wastegate. He also upgraded the injectors from 120 to 238cc, single-shot, 80%-over nozzles. The exhaust manifolds and turbine housings were modified and coated with a thermal barrier and heat dispersants from SOA as well.
Anderson notes that similar power numbers can be achieved with changes to the cam and increasing the injector size, but not without generating significant amounts of black smoke. This is obviously undesirable, since it not only increases exhaust opacity, but also represents unburnt fuel and lost power.”
@@too-stoked-about-2-strokes He has a bunch of mods on the engine. However, the test depicted was just adding the pistons, nothing else. He was pouring black smoke before the piston swap
nice run . turbo size ?
Give a set to Gale if there all that and he says they are they’ll sale
We gave a set to SEMA for EPA certification.
@speedofairenginetechnologi1721 that's worthless. EPA certified means nothing other than it's still carb compliant.
