It's a good strat! I was doing shaper maps and had really bad luck with invitation drops. had 2 drops in 16 rotations so had to buy the invites at 1div a piece :) but still had good profit.
Great stuff! I tried invitation farming last league for the first time and love it. Went for a Shaper Guardian only, becaue their maps are pretty straigh forward, you can easily horizon them to get an equal set, and Chimera doesn't botter me as much as having to run slow maps or wasting time horizon them. I'm giving this one a go, profit aside I want to stack a few Maven invites cuz I'm horrible at that fight and still need to get that last watchstone :)
I started the league with Destructive Play boss killing. It’s one of my favorite strats but this league I struggled. I wasn’t making any money and invitations never dropped. Mildly frustrating but I’m glad to see it’s worth it again.
@fuzzy duckzy - you can ctrl shift click items from your inventory into the current tab temporarily ignoring stash tab affinities. It’s really nice when you want to make a total loot tab without drag and dropping everything into your stash.
For anyone not wanting to sell on tft, don't worry. They sell with bulk princes on trade too. Just takes a few mins instead of instantly selling. I've sold multiple sets on trade.
Love the video format! It’s nice to not just have a spread sheet and numbers and see the actual drops! If you do the 10 ways I’d or sirus’s peoples, I’d recommend specing into harbinger with the harbinger sextant as the bosses maven spawns count for that so you get a lot of extra chances at fracturing shards (mirror shards too I guess but I don’t believe they actually exist 😂) - just a thought tho!

I have been wanting to try out the new KB build, this looks pretty achievable on budget. Looking at your PoB, you could trade 400 or so life for another aura using the dark marionette spectres. Spectre, Meat Shield, Guardian Blessing and aura. Haste would work well with this setup.

Thanks. It’s personal preference really you just want maps where bosses have no phases and are easy to find. You may end up not sustaining your favourite maps anyway so I just tend to run any map where I know how to get to the boss. I am not at my pc but will try and out it in the video description tomorrow

It is something you can do, but I am not sure it will bring much value as there are a lot of worthless beasts. Beast farming is often better in white lower tier maps as it cuts out a l lot of beasts that you probably do not want to collect

is it doable without the sextant to sustain the guardian map? with my glasscannon build i cant do a 200% more damage chimera, i have no trouble erasing every boss tho
I don’t use sextants and am swimming in maps but If you just want to only run guardian maps and not also mix in normal maps you would need it. Maps can be run scoured too as mods do not affect maps dropping
If I missed it out while watching the video sorry but do you ever interact with the league mechanic (affliction) I guess not, right? As it won't effect drop rate of essences etc
Hey. In this strategy you don't want to interact with affliction as it makes the maps a lot harder for not a lot of return. The time it takes to gather whisps also eats into profit if you don't get lucky
out of curiosity, basically, essences are just an added bonus while rushing the boss, right? not all maps are linear, but you wouldn't go out of your way to look for essences.. right?
What happens if the maven currently holds a re-creation of all the conquerer map bosses and she can't witness them? I currently have maven's witness setup for the elderslayers and the twisted but nothing is dropping the invitations
You have 3 options: buy the invitation, run 10 way maps until they drop or run more of that boss map type as they are more likely to drop their own invitations

If you want to sustain your own maps you will probably need to alch them. It also puts more monsters in the maps so makes it easier to get 7 layers of deli reward. Outside of this there is no benefit so you can run them scoured
Not sure exactly what you mean but it does proc on guardian maps and you can also use the sextant however only one boss will drop a map from the sextant

Yeah it's still worth it as that's about 1.7 div in splinters and you get a chance to get fragments, maps and awakened gems along with orbs of conflict. It's definitely more money to run than sell if you are running the maps
Hey man I am playing CF champ rn and I wanna transition to this build what do I got a budget of around 3~4 divs (maybe more not sure) I have about 2.5mill~3mill DPS With this budget how much does can I get and is it fine to follow the rain of arrows champ guide from last league or no pls answer me T-T
i got 3 of my voidstones already but mostly got carried , my current build is poison blade vortex, it has good damage but too slow to kill bosses cuz it depends too much on the damage over time. so i would appreciate any recommendations, btw thank you for the guide , watched it and currently following it now!! keep up the goodwork man!!

I do not know much about the build but if you go onto POE Ninja Website and select your ascendancy and skill it should give you an idea of where to concentrate on upgrades. Also check out guides for penance brand of dissipation the skiil is insanely broken although it is more of a bosser than mapper
There isn’t much point investing more as the idea is to be quick and turn over maps and invitations. Adding more stuff into the map will bring more money per map but probably lower your profit per hour. If your build is strong you could add the sextant where bosses drop conqueror maps but not sure it is worth it
Just personal preference as there is not really anywhere useful to put the points. It also guarantees an extra essence if you take all blockers and stream of consciousness
I can't remember now but it does not make that much difference. You would just pick 5 maps you like running and then favourite another 5 that connect to these. I pretty much ran any map that did not have a phased boss

For the mapping part not a lot as you can run the maps with no mods on. A few million DPS would be enough. If you want to run the invitations too it will depend on the defences on your build but you meant to get bosses down quickly in these as it makes them easier.
You need to upgrade your strategy asap. Map quantity affects map drops including those special ones, this means that you should always at least corrupt your maps before running them. You should also have in atlas all the increased effect of map modifiers. Another thing is that cartographer scarabs boost the map drops. Use at least rusted or polished. Try and see on your own
I tested this last league over 100s of maps and it made no difference to the number of maps I got back so I still stick by my original opinion that these maps are better run just scoured. I am not saying it does not make a difference but it did not seem worth it to run more difficult maps and put more money into the maps
Just a side note you just from watching the showcase, multiple maps you kill the map boss to fast and you dont get the extra spawns from the Keystone, you have to wait for maven to say the Voiceline "Time to up the Stakes" for the other map bosses to spawn. Several maps you killed the boss so fast you lost out of potential other map drops for the Keystone spawn.
There are multiple bosses on each kill it is just sometimes hard to see as they die instantly. GGG changed it last league so you no longer have to wait. One thing to note is when doing boss maps the extra bosses often spawn during the guardian/conqueror fight and not the map boss.
So this has been my strategy all league, and with the current prices I eat a loss every time I have to buy a formed/twisted/elderslayer due to insane up charging. I am probably going to abandon it at this point.
I tend to just run whatever guardian maps I have more of the get the next invitation or go back to 10 maps. It is insane how expensive the invitations are though
@@FuzzyDuckzy yeah last week I was getting them for around 120c and now I am lucky to get one for 1.3 div. BTW as for quant you want at least 65% since that appears to be the breakpoint for 6 possible splinters. I have run multiple 100+ quantity and still only dropped a max of 6 splinters.
@@QuintessenceHDI’ve dropped 7 splinters twice now, both were corrupted invitations, one with 95 quant I believe, the other with 110+ but have also done a 120 quant and only got 6 so seems pretty RNG

I've been running a very similar strategy this past week and it's gotten me quite a bit, just doing Elderslayers. Buying 10 sets/15 div, 1.5 div per invitation and corruption essences for 4c ea, I'm still profiting around 7-10 div/hr if not more. Obviously not as profitable as the meta MF-ing, but definitely good enough for a league start strat as I started a few weeks late. Essences got me around 100 div, while Maven's writs and Sirus sets made up around another 120 div. Add in another 100 div and change from synthesized maps, exalted orbs, divination cards, shaper and elder guardian maps, random drops/bases, etc. Regardless, you shouldn't be at a loss assuming you've optimized your tree, as there's not really much setup to it.
I am honestly not sure as I had to stop playing this build as my PC could not handle it. I would think it would be minimum of 50 divines for it to feel ok as it is quite a popular skill so a lot of the gear can be expensive
Why block all mechanics when seventh gate is in reach? You lose points there I think. Ally and Palsteron don't talk about favorite maps. They just buy influenced maps. Your way gives more variation.
I have 7th gate allocated in case I want to put essences in. Blocking all mechanics gives you a guaranteed extra essence. I wouldn't buy maps personally as they are expensive to buy in bulk and you will still run into the issue of not having enough invitations which is why I mix in normal 10 maps. Points don't really matter as most my extra points just go on duplicated maps nodes as I only want essence and the boss nodes. You can buy the maps I am just not sure you end up much different in profit considering how many you drop from normal maps. An example beng a set of conq maps is 1.5 div and the invitation is 1.9 div. That is spending 3.4 div which is almost the same as what you will get back.

I would do them rare if you can as you might get a lucky drop but not sure it makes a difference for map drops and invitations

Quantity only effects dropping influenced items, scour and go is the best option for this strategy.

If you are running essence with it, why not Stream of Consciousness? to get few more essence mob
