I have put a note on my levelling guide to say not to go lightning strike from the off. This is your updated Acts 1-5 levelling fully tested. I only used gems which do not get added damage so any damage you see in this video you can add a lot more on
As much as I want people to be able to jump straight into lightning strike after more testing I just do not think it will be very comfortable
This video covers off the new way I recommend you level leading up to the lightning strike swap at level 40ish

No problem. I just felt I had to change it as this progression is much smoother even though it means having to again cope with spectral helix
I'll be honest this has been one of the roughest first 3 acts of my poe career, can't wait to get rid of helix

Heavy strike is great for bosses with no adds or clutter. I tried it on Merveil and is sucked due to the chills and ads, but for Brutus it will make short work of him

I have a question about your pob. In the skill tree, why do you take 'Dual Wielding Mastery' after the Ichimonji swap, as you are using two time the same items, is this node working ?

I level acts with iciclemines skill tree you can make what ever of you just have gems. As gems level damage goes up nice fast clear and bossing

just to be sure regarding the Mule: I get the Ring and if possible a Weapon and switch directly after that right? No need to go farther after the starting Town?
Yeah just the starting town and then make your duelist
Hey I love your guides! I was just wondering why you are going for LS Champion instead of Slayer?
I know Champ works cheap early game. I will switch ascendancies to Slayer once I have completed my Atlas and farm currency.

What do you think about Berserker for LS? The high attackrate & rage really looks funny
Should be decent but it needs a lot of nodes on the tree and pretty good gear, so might take a bit longer to get up to speed.
I tried a few different ways to play from rhe start before these changes take place and right now I'm favoring Galvanic arrow even without speccing into projectiles or Spectral throw right out the gate. I don't like the slow swing of Heavy strike from maurader either. Once i got Helix to me it didn't feel that much better than LS but i also forgot to change the POB and go into the left, i went to the right with dex and attack speed and also skipped the 2H nodes since we don't do that for too long although i known it will be easier to respect this league. Wish there was a clear cut answer on skills right from the start that were great.
I guess it's all personal preference and all ways should work I think I am maybe more worried about the early game than I need to be

Spectral helix vs throw
Is it more of the feel? Or is helix just better?
I've been reading lots of things about both, and I wanted your answer
I think Helix is more damage, but in tight spaces it is bad as it just ricochets off walls. I think Helix is better for clear but throw is probably better for single target. If I used spectral throw I would also have frost blades and ancestral call for clear. However I have never tested it properly, but I know some people are running throw

Why do you have 3 body armor with full dps active on pob?
Just to simulate the melee, projectile and vaal skill damage as pob can't do this

I think ill try your build leveling form me its not really important i just dont fight rare mobs dont care about alot of items just rush to the passive quests to get those juice passives, then i lvl gems up amd do labs for free lvls and then ill focus on your build it seems it ll fit me if i can complete atlas for the first time im happy

Why r u not using warden?
I don't like the look of warden until you get very good gear. All the guides and POBs I have seen so far the early mapping looks like it will be really rough. I am also still protesting that they deleted my Raider :)
Warbanner doesnt work with helix, just for melee
I know I mention to drop it when you pick up Helix. I probably should have worded that better thinking about it. I meant drop it from your links not on the ground :)

so many other viable options, like if you enjoy the skill do it up, but there is absolutely no need to level like that
I think people are in for a shock as the loss of flat damage makes quite a difference early on. Helix also works well as you can move around the enemy you do not have to stand still and face tank. You are right though you can use any skill it will just have varying degrees of speed and success.
Stuns are also a massive issue early as you get hit out your animation constantly and helix kind of avoids it to an extent as you can circle round bosses
I just did not want 50 complaints about how they cannot get through act 1 with lightning strike and how I ruined their league start, so have gone with the safe and boring option
