One of the most difficult “gates” I’ve had to progress through is the phase at which you exact mid-tier build and into “final form” build which invariably requires farming Divines at a decent clip. Oh man! I tried bossing over the weekend I was able to walk away with about 300divs in loot. Rolled some good watcher's eyes and maven would bless me with awakened gems. I went with destructive play and guardian map drops in the atlas. Alch and go t16 maps, then guardians, and finally the bosses. It was a nice change of pace from digging my grave in cemetary.
@rcola5 My build was a str stack venom gyre. Pretty much my rotation was t16 maven witness maps till i had a few sets of guardian maps -> maven atlas invitation after every 10 maps -> guardian maps once I had a few sets -> Boss ->repeat. I skipped Sirius after one kill because I dont like it, so I sold the shards as a set.

Thats actually good way how to get rid of maps i'd never run, i have like 800+ maps with bad layout/corrupt/whatever.

Shaper Guardian and shaper farm is absolutely INSANE right now. A 50c sextant nets you 2 divines in 10 minutes (4 shaper guardians, 1 invitation, 1 shaper fight).
I can attest to this. If you have a decently fast build, you can crank these out. I don't run the shaper frags and have found that selling them in sets is very good. I tested and was able to finish a shaper guardian run, including the invitation, in 5 min and a half. Before calculating profit from anything dropped from the invitations, I found it to be about 20 to 25 div an hour, using the cheap sextant. That's guaranteed profit, and can be even more with decent awakened gem drops. Pretty satisfying to just stomp all the bosses, even with 200% more HP.
I did this for 80ish sets and I made a lot of currency. I definitely got sick if it though, make sure your build can comfortably fight Cindy's chimera with the compass buff before trying. I was using a pretty built TS and he'd often one-shot me pretty often making it a frustrating fight to do 80 times in quick succession.
There's a really solid variant of this popularized by Aero__ that splashes a little bit of Harbinger to it using a Sextant that puts a Mysterious Harbinger right next to the map boss. Adds 1-3 fractured shards per invitation cycle, so if you can blast through a thousand or so of these you can farm a full mirror.
Yeah that’s super solid, I briefly mentioned that. It really comes down to how much more you want to do. My take was meant to be as super simple as possible but I love the harbinger idea
I did this, since I am wandering path and focus on 100% connected map, map dups and harvest, i ran jungle valley, got 1 or 2 quad tab full of mesa, switch to boss rush and once i burn out the mesa, back to harvest jungle valley, insane.
I have been doing this exact strat and im wasting a lot of time because maps are not dropping or im getting very few maps to drop. I have tried several kinds of map like dunes, city square and more so and still no luck. I think i will go back to legion dunes farming

Do sets of like 150map t16 grab all essence and then boss the essence alone is my bigger bulk of the sales followed by the invitations Also just running white maps and ones like strand or dunes something pretty quick.
I've had success doing this, but full farming the maps with a zoomie build, doing essence. I full clear the maps for alters, and the quant bonuses add up real quick for more map drops including Sirius map & synthesis drops. Also, farming essence in the map with a sextant helps smooth out the RNG aspect of this.
Mesa and Jungle Valley, I'd say about 2-3 minutes per map with my lightning SRS guardian. Sextants I'm using remnant of corruption and elder guardian. Additionally, I'm over-sustaining maps, so once I get to like 50 or 60 extras I can sell those as well in bulk for 2-3 div. I hope that helps.@@0ptriX

( i m a new player and i dont know crap about map farming) so i m asking. you only loot maps and divs and no items or chaos orbs or whatever? just boss rush and loot any map and divs on the way and loot the boss if it drops something? thats it?
It depends on what your goals are right. If you are boss rushing then clearing the map and looting a bunch of non-relevant stuff slows you down. So a lot of it depends on how you want to play. In this video the goal/idea is to literally spawn influence, kill the boss and loot the expensive items (boss map drops and random high value stuff) stopping to pick up a couple of jewlers or chromes just isnt worth it because it adds a lot of time to the map. THOUGH IF YOU ENJOY PICKING THAT STUFF UP YOU SHOULD. Just a matter of how time efficient you want to be. Different strats for different things ya know.
What are u using to place your portal down so fast? I dont even see you opening your inventory to click on the portal scroll. Im a newer player, can you explain how you do that? Thanks for the guides btw, really helpful info.
I have on my weapon swap a bow with the crafted mod “spells trigger when you cast” and I have inside of the bow a portal gem and tornado shot. So I weapon swap shoot tornado shot and a portal opens
nuts if you can put a map in device, get into it, pass 2 loading screens and kill the boss all in 20 seconds. I have super fast build can oneshot everything but just as a human I cant get to under 40 seconds per map. Also that's only in hyper focus mode. Playing casually it's more like 50 maps per hour.
Already did this last league was very easy as u said. Btw new to poe...so i cant find the enddate of the league. Asking because not sure if stsrting second char is still worth. Are there expectations for this?

if you want a little bit more content, you can combine this strategy with harvest with scarabs quantity and shaper guardians map. you will get a ton of fragments, maps, lifeforce and the maven invitations as well. theres a compass which gives you shaper map after every boss, but its nearly the same price if you buy the maps but takes more time to kill a boss if you dont have a decent build. i made 50divs in a few hours while i worked and have meetings.

Does it make sense to do Wildwood in t16 for this strat? Essence isnt impacted by a lot, not sure about Wildwood. My build is pretty good to just explode everything. And a big question. Does it make sense to do all the guardian maps and invitation bosses with Palsterons hexblast mine buid yourself?
The best ways to play is to have fun 1000% even with the lower profits. I just do my best as a content creator to provide all different outlooks of the game to all types of players. But I will happily take less divines per hour and play longer then burn out. Though lemme tell you when I wanna turn brain off watch a movie and not think my god does this strat take the cake

Im still new to the game, its only my 2nd season and sometimes is genuinely hard to tell how much of a bad idea something is. Hey Trav how’s it going? I’m having a really hard time this league getting my characters up and running. This is my second league and I only was a RF player. So my first RF stopped at about level 89 the wildwood and red maps were messing it up kept dying. Then I made an occultist ice nova of frost bolts it’s level 80 seems to have much higher damage but the survivablily isn’t there it keeps dying from ranged attacks. How do I scale a build to not get clapped? Its resist capped and currently has purity of elements for aliments. I just keep getting wrecked I can clear very fast but idk. How do I get tanky with armor and block? Working towards the blocking nodes on top left of tree now. Armor is like 2k only.
So that's 41 divs per 228 maps? Minus the maps which are around 11 divs. So 30 divs per 228 maps? That's will probably take me 4 hours to run. Plus selling and sorting out loots. So for me it will be around 7-8 divs per hour then?
@Travic_ I also use boss has a bodyguard, dropped 9 shards, and a full fracture orb in 12 maps 😀 I've also spec into boss can drop shaper elder, sirus or synthesis maps so maps are about 20 seconds but I make a little more ££
You have path to the nodes to get the special maps so it just doesn’t matter right? Where else you going to put the points? I also didn’t want to spec out of it

Portalal skill fencing my offhand on a weapon that has a trigger socketed spell craft. And the atlas device with the timer on it came from a box last league it should be in the store next league
I have been doing atlas invitation farming with essences. Maps take 1 minute instead of 10 seconds, but I have 3-4 essence nodes that are about 60% of my profit and then Destructive Play so effectively I have chance to get guardian map drops from 2-4 bosses per map

its better to take up the stakes keystone for maven to summon more bosses bc these bosses can drop guardian maps too. ofc if ur build is fast and can one shot bosses
Prety brainless strat but perfect to watch some videos or series. Did 160 maps this afternoon, in about 1.5 hour. Payed 6Divs dor the maps and made like 30 back... I never had this kind of money before, i will do that for some days but i don't even know what to do after haha...btw does mf increase the boss rewards like invatations etc?
I'm surprised you're not blighting this league. Golden oils are a div in bulk, Tainted oils are 4div, Sporeguards are 20 div uncorrupted and t16 blight ravaged maps are a div each.
I do during the week when I’m off stream mostly. I always explore all kinds of options to show you guys a wide variety of different good strat throughout the league
@@Travic_ Ah. I've been running blight whilst boss rushing with a hexblast build similar to your ice trap build. Profit isn't as quick because of blight slowing ya down but I enjoy it.
mirror bow and mageblood are only bosting boss kill times but the real profit is from searing exarch invitations. And the boss kill times are pretty negligible anyways since a decent build with 5m+ DPS can kill them quickly as well. I could easily see a decently optimized build making 25-30 div per hour doing this.
Correct you only do farming strategies you enjoy and they won’t burn you out, my job as a content creator is to provide information for all types of viable content. The viewers job is to figure out what they enjoy the most and do that. This won’t be for everyone and I’m don’t even do this long either. I’ll usually do this when I need a brain off kinda day

Usually three to four months. If you google poe league list. The wiki has list of leagues with start and end dates.

How do you use portal scroll without clicking? And how do you placed a timer in the dawn right part of the screen?
There is a portal skill gem. And the timer is an MTX from a box i believe

You want to kill the boss on the 28th map to get the invitation cause it’s guaranteed
I bossed rush and you’ll be guaranteed to make more doing non Mf wisp mapping with alters, unless you just like to boss rush then go for it

Prety brainless strat but perfect to watch some videos or series.
Did 160 maps this afternoon, in about 1.5 hour. Payed 6Divs dor the maps and made like 30 back... I never had this kind of money before, i will do that for some days but i don't even know what to do after haha...btw does mf increase the boss rewards like invatations etc?

I'm surprised you're not blighting this league. Golden oils are a div in bulk, Tainted oils are 4div, Sporeguards are 20 div uncorrupted and t16 blight ravaged maps are a div each.
I do during the week when I’m off stream mostly. I always explore all kinds of options to show you guys a wide variety of different good strat throughout the league
@@Travic_ Ah. I've been running blight whilst boss rushing with a hexblast build similar to your ice trap build. Profit isn't as quick because of blight slowing ya down but I enjoy it.

You forget to mantion mirror bow and mageblood which is boosting this by 3-4 times. So really it's 6-8d/h what is very low in this league
It’s tier 14-16 maps that are scoured with no wildwood. It should be easily doable by a lot of builds.
mirror bow and mageblood are only bosting boss kill times but the real profit is from searing exarch invitations. And the boss kill times are pretty negligible anyways since a decent build with 5m+ DPS can kill them quickly as well. I could easily see a decently optimized build making 25-30 div per hour doing this.

Correct you only do farming strategies you enjoy and they won’t burn you out, my job as a content creator is to provide information for all types of viable content. The viewers job is to figure out what they enjoy the most and do that. This won’t be for everyone and I’m don’t even do this long either. I’ll usually do this when I need a brain off kinda day
