All gloves that survived into 5 mod are blessed by the maker of previous 4 mods. Therefore, Empy's RNG was those 4 shiny ones. Which did have been vigorsly bricked.
Yeah almost every time I've had a successful corruption, it's when I've forgotten to fix the item before doing it. Then I just gotta stare at my corrupted piece of shit and remember that I'm an idiot.
can someone explain whats happening at the start? why would you add so many implicit mods to a corrupted item? i'm still kinda new so idk if theres something special happening
The item has two rows which allows it to be corrupted multiple times as long as it's not "bricked" aka rolled into a rare. "Can be modified while Corrupted and Can have up to 5 Implicit Modifiers while Item has this Modifier"
I wonder if this is how banks feel when a broke bitch comes to them wanting a huge home loan, then the bank gives them the loan, they fail to pay the loan, the bank then forecloses on the home and the auction winner/buyer demolishes the home right in front of them.
I feel bad now. I just have to look at the gloves funny for them to brick before I get a single mod on them, let alone a second. edit: the shiny ones are more like my experience.

The idea is that you have better odds to hit the +1 than a vaal orb because along with +1 you can hit -1 or quality in general as your 2nd corrupt. Better than only hitting quality or just a -1

The odds to go up a level (which is the only outcome that matters) go from 1/8 to 1/4 since it can’t roll the same outcome twice.
