The private league thing was so insane to me. They'd still do everything you'd normally do and basically have +4 proj maps as base before wisp empowering. The loot must've been actually multiplicative for them

A tip is to name the itemfilter something short and swap between them with "/itemfilter uber" and say "/itemfilter curr". Makes it a bit faster to swap between them
You don't want to take the reveal wisps because it decreases your wisp power.
I think your thinking around abyss spawns being blocked is what I've experienced too, I actually just had a run with not a single spawn at all
Since i blocked Most mechanics and stopped using ambush i Always get all abysses
@@soundtorial4567but that includes not using wandering path, which in turn makes your maps and abysses much less potent. I'd rather take the occasional L if the occasional W gives me that much more loot in return, the entirety of this strat is trying to hit a lootsplosion anyway so you don't rly need consistency. With at least 1 raw divine per map so far, you're making profit even if everything goes wrong, so I can't see cutting a big chunk of loot potential just for spire stability

Regarding the abysses getting blocked, this is an issue with small maps. If you use Burial Chamber for example, that doesn't happen.
This can still happen in BC. Group ran Beyond, Deli, Ritual, Alva, Harbinger (winged), Abyss (winged), natural spawn expedition, natural spawn 1 strongbox.. we only spawned 1 abyss.
@@Taronus68 sure, but thats a lot of mechanics even for BC. Cemetery struggles even with strongboxes alone

But, am i understanding it correct that you follow the abyss but you don't kill mobs around it, to prevent it from dying?
I've been trying this method out for a couple of days, but i've been fighting around it.
And hence, i've never gotten a spire, but it always becomes a lootbox..

This is my first league, im playing a lvl 93 DE TS with an omnibuild so far.
I've been thinking my dps might be to high to run T7's (Cemetary), but this video makes me believe i'm just doing it all wrong.

Specifically how to mechanically work it, the mats involved and how to either make or obtain them.

It's the total amount of wisps collected in the wildwood. Higher amount = more loot basically.

Why is that aegis shield such a big deal?? Is it really that good??
In hardcore? Yes. Properly incorporated into a build it can make you basically immortal against rapid small to medium damage hits (aka most of the dangerous things in maps).
It also gives +5 max cold resistance which combines well with Melding to mitigate most DoT and large hits too - since most scary damage in PoE is elemental.
It requires building around it, but it's part of one of the best defensive setups in the game.

It is. But since ziz is essentially an aurabot, resistances are trivial.
I feel the same way after run a lot of these, other mechanics definitely block max abyss spawns. Besides breach deli and beyond I felt like almost all other mechanics fuck it up.
Cemetery doesnt have that many pathways for abyss. Especially strongboxes Block Ur abyss spawn
Isn't it just a set area which you reveal? It looks like they reveal it as it matters how you reveal it though
The wildwoods is Diamond shaped,it has 4 Event spawnpoints in north,south,east,West. The middle is füll of whisps.
Watch Out for the Walls to Orient Ur spawnpoint

After a break for a couple of years i am fully back into poe. Played from 2013 to 2019. Just need to (re)learn again also some new league mechanics and chances in the skill tree. Will be in softcore for now until i am ans feel confident i remember enough before i try hc again. Any good hc builds that are working well atm?

This league is first time i have had not enought to use uber fukin imba very strict neversink filter...
When you start seeing people getting multiple mirror drops and magebloods in one day of play time the game is fully broken.
Next league is going to feel like shit for a lot of them when they reel the drops in. Might be a good one to skip.
mageblood cant drop naturaly in t7 and lower, it can only start dropping at lvl 75+ map lvl, aka t8
You only farm T7 if you play HC.
SC is ultra gigga atm.

Damn, jumped on the train a bit late. Started doing the abyss strat 2 days ago, today I boot it up, run 10 maps just to make about 5 divines total with a 2.5d/map investment. GG, GGG!
we are running 2.5d/map with friends, (3 of us, carryMagicFind, aurabot and cursebot), after 16maps like this (total investment around 35div) profit 170div
1 map spawns as many rare mobs as 20 regular alch and go maps. And this is the league I had to skip 😩

This is likely the only league I could get the currency to get all the T0-1 items to play with, but I cannot for the life of me draw the will to play, I couldn't even complete my atlas this time before I just burned out.
Meanwhile d4 players are playing Amazon currier simulator to store their legendaries while looting their battlepass horse skin

I mean according to fubgun, abyss is still not even worth running with all the extra proj, because of the time it takes to farm it compared to legion. And that guys dropped like 7 mirrors and many headhunters and magebloods solo this league.
Why you have to listen to whoever opinion? when it comes to rng ppl cant tell what is worth and what's not even if its ggg's rng wich is not random at all.
@@reqwe6228 it’s not so much listening to opinions. I’m just looking at the results, and dropping 7 mirrors as a solo only halfway into a league is impressive.
Legion is definitely faster, but abyss spawns more rare mobs meaning more conversions.
@@practic4l349 The rationale is that if you do maps faster, you get more chances to run into that legendary 10k+ wisp map
@@Not2Shoddy I had a 11,5k wisps map. T16, Delirium, Winged Ambush/Abyss/Harbinger/Reliquary etc...etc... When abyss spawned, the server could not handle the amount of hits (rage cleave/rage vortex) and just crashed. Map was gone. I think it has also to do with how tanky the monsters were...
editor please tell Steelmage that the zizaran throat noises make these unwatchable, i had to turn it off because it was making me feel genuinely queasy

It's steel's loot filter actually so not really much can be done from an editing point of view unless he straight overwrites the audio for every tink that happens, and in these maps... yeah... not gonna happen

I KNOW THEY’RE ON A PRIVATE SERVER, but my complaint still stands for party play on public servers. There should be soft core solo trade leagues and soft core party trade leagues. The trade economy would be much more appropriate for solo players.
@@jhuggz193why? party doesnt drop more loot per player than if you run solo. Emphy had a solo 30 div/h video recently. And from their first week they had what, 10-15div/h avg?

GGG only approves of unfair shit when it is to kill players out of nowhere. When we can use for our benefits is "unintended"
they disabled it because you could pay real money for an advantage in gameplay. Normal players do not have access to the private league +proj mod and it gives anyone willing to pay for it extra rares and therefore extra loot, and they can abuse it by farming in private league and then transferring the loot to the normal league.
Yeah this whole interaction was entirely unintended as the mods you have access to in PLs only make the game HARDER not easier@@thewishingpig

Try blight or legion or literally any event with the game that has more than 60 mobs on the screen the game is super UN-optimised and crashes even on my 2080ti on some blight maps I have played the game for 8 years you? They lied about refurbishing the acts they lied about doing loot 2.0 they lied about optimising the game to run better POE 1 is literally just a testing ground for POE 2. I swear, if POE 2 is just as un-optimised as POE 1 in late game, I'm dropping it.
