How To Fix Windows 10 Stuck in Safe Mode - Wont Boot Infinite Loop [Tutorial]

- This tutorial will hopefully show you guys how resolve the infamous infinite loading screen, black screen or infinite bootloop that may be occurring on your computer. After upgrading their devices to Windows 10, many computer users have complained about the endless reboot loop issue after upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or Windows 8. The following critical issues will be addressed in this tutorial:
- Blank screens with mouse cursor blinking
- Blank screens with nothing on it (including the mouse cursor)
- System crash errors followed by endless loop boots
- Continuous crash dump error messages
- Desktop or laptop stuck restarting
- Computer stuck in startup repair
- "Startup repair is checking your system for problems"
- The store export operation has failed. The requested system device cannot be found
Here is how to fix the infinite loading screen, black screen or infinite boot loop that is making it difficult, if not impossible to boot into Windows 10.
This problem can additionally appear:
- When you update windows and restart your machine
- When you install a new program or driver updates
- Completely randomly
- Power light blinking but nothing on display
- Trying to skip automatic repair Windows 10
- Windows 10 update loop / Windows 10 update stuck
- Windows 10 won t boot after update

theres no safeboot when i typed in bcdedit
i'm stuck in safe mode. there is only 2 option in safe mode, "Troubleshoot" and "Shutdown". there is no option "continue". in Troubleshoot only display advance option. im try all of these option (restore, repair, recovery, uninstall update) but all failed.

there's no safeboot showed in my command prompt. Only "standard" and "boot menu policy"
There is not an option for safeboot between nx and bootmenu policy on my pc it's the only thing missing .. :(

AMAZING!! Thank you, thank you! FYI this also worked to fix a problem where booting in Safe Mode took away the option to log in with a PIN or Face ID. Windows wouldn't recognize my password, so I couldn't log in. This fix helped me get back to normal mode.

Please help me.. I can’t get into my laptop anymore! I’m stuck at a blue screen where I only have one option. It says “choose an account to continue“ I chose my account, it won’t accept my password. I changed my password over my phone, it still won’t accept it, I tried everything, I can’t get into my laptop at all, I can’t get into safe mode I’m basically stuck in safe mode I guess? There is no safeboot in the bcdedit for some reason. It says the specified entry identifier is not valid. The parameter is incorrect. :(

It ask for password before opening cmd and i forgot my password

At 2:54 look at the Identifier, in the video it's {Default} so he used {default} safeboot. For mine, the identifier was a much longer code, so instead of {default} safeboot, use {xxxxxxxx} safeboot

@@dontknow479 Nope. Took out the ssd, put it in another pc, copied my games and important files. Then i reformated and re-installed windows. The good news is that the GPU no longer gives me problem and freeze my games lol oh and this time i set a password lol
@@Castapher dude just now replaced my hdd with ssd and fresh installed windows 10 and its working.......so my question is that can i copy my files from hdd to ssd ryt now?

The problem i face is that windows requires a password wich i forgot once i click on the Command Prompt or any other advanced setting

look for password blanker ( it is a linux utility , that will help you to clear the current windows password), ver easy to use
Use Lazesoft Recovery to reset your local password, then continue with this video

Yeah, my computer keeps trying to 'restore to original settings' after I clicked on update. Usually it will do this 6 times before it goes to the blue screen where I can troubleshoot. Now it won't even do that. It's been stuck in a boot loop for almost 2 hours. No joke.

Instead of {default} safeboot, use the code stated on your identifier. At 2:54 his identifier was default. If yours is different, use {xxxxxxxx} safeboot instead, with xxxxxxxx = your identifier

Why is safe mode broken to begin with? This fix doesn't exactly fix safe mode.
Use the media creation tool and boot your computer from it to load the troubleshooting options available.
My pc is out of range so in order to fix it. I have enabled safe mode now the windows is not starting up it is only showing D-sub out of range 63.9kHz /60Hz

he is trying to say that once he select command prompt, windows restarts to set up the command prompt, once it ready, windows required you to select the profile to use to get into the CMD prompt. Once you select the user account, before it goes to the prompt, windows requires a password to enter , defeating this whole process. I know because I am currently in the same boat now and do not want to reinstall windows, just to get back in. help me please.

@Fenwick L. Lumen just make a list and write each password you think it could possibly be till you get it right is what I did

@Fenwick L. Lumen I was being honest I have a general idea of what all my passwords are XD it's of about 50 ish passwords probly less and I just went through and wrote each one out
