Do they have any menus in Al-Khaf coz I’ve been to a Somali cafe style restaurant, sat down with my mates expecting a few menus but didn’t get one. We called one of the waiter guys over who also happened to be the chef for a menu and the brother told us they don’t do menus. We were a bit surprised by that I mean how did they expect us to order, did they think we were gonna guess the food they had. I asked the brother again and then next thing you know he started lacing out some of the dishes so quickly which left me and my mates so confused. Thank you for your reply brother. The guy that came over to us spoke English albeit a bit broken but I thought Somalian restaurant was open for everyone and not just their own. I’m from South East London near Dulwich.
@@easterneye2773 no they’re saying the reason there’s no menu is because before people discovered Somali restaurants only Somalis would go there so theres no menu! I heard brothers is a good Somali restaurant
There’s two distinct style of Somali restaurants, one is a cafe which is normally for Men/boys to eat, have tea and chill. This type you won’t see any menus and is geared towards Somalis (Men), you won’t even see any Somali women/girls chilling at this type of restaurant/cafe. It sounds like you ended up in one of these.
