    This is one of the ways I make my drums hit harder! There are many other things like saturation and sidechaining so let me know if you want a tutorial on that or a more in depth one about soft clipping.

    Why not just have soft clipper on the master and turn up the kick normally.

    Unfortunately I couldn’t highlight that feature whereas it’s grayed out. Any other alternatives?

    Eq into a clipper just smashes ur signal lol, and if the kick had any stereo might cause it to have phase issues. You could just mix better?

      Eq into clipper is just gain into clipper.
      A clipper with a better GUI to know how much you clip is just easier to use

      I think V-clip is probably the best imo- but I tried to use stock for the new Fl studio users
