Costco sells Cuisinart digital stand mixer with a bonus of 3qts bowl. My question is do I need to buy 3qt accessories like dough hook /beater in order to use the smaller bowl for the stand mixer and where to buy them? Thanks.
I also was debating on which one to buy. Unfortunately I did not see this video before purchasing mine. Then again, I bought the cuisinart which was on sale plus got an extra 20% off with a coupon. Turned out to be a great choice and love it.
How does the Cuisinart behave when it comes to the bread dough? I mean, I want to buy one but it will be used for bread dough the most, instead of cookies or cakes. I have heard the kitchenaid has metal gears, I don't know that about the Cuisinart. Maybe that could be better when it comes to durability. I am hesitating between kitchenaid and Cuisinart, especially because the last one has a lower price.
It's noteworthy that you can use kitchenaid attachments on the cuisinart too. So if you already have them or can find them on sale, it'd definitely be worth it
Cruisinart was more practical; while, kitchenaid was more popular and stylish; but I was choosing Cruisinart to save me extra $100 dollars and did basically the same things.
the true test is how they handle dough for bread. didn't saw them test that and that is one thing that breaks or makes a mixer. dough can force the motor and sometimes even burn it out if the motor can't handle the mix.

partial towards kitchenaid since they're built in my state and are serviceable. if anything breaks you can buy parts and fix it or call the service department number engraved on the side and send it in. even on the brand new ones
where are you getting 5 years? It's 1 year everywhere I look. I already bought the Cuisinart when it was on super sale but am curious if I missed something in my research. I don't think so.

Kitchen aid has stood the test of time. KA bowl is shorter and wider making it easier to add material while it is mixing. You gave extra points to the wrong machine. The KA paddle mixer scrapes the edge of the bowl. Cusinart does not, so you have to stop the machine to scrape the sides, A big fat minus in my world. Cusinart is new and should have Improved on KA's design but they did not. KITCHEN AID is the winner, no dought about that.

Tell us you've never tried to use the shitty plastic meat grinder KitchenAid pushes without telling us you haven't. Yall are paying too much for junk. Yup, junk. KitchenAid mixers are overpriced and lack real quality in my opinion. You can save money by buying a refurbished one...some guy just knew to take the cover off and grease the gears inside...slapped it back together, and sold it for 50 bucks less than it sells for new. All that said...I really prefer hand mixing. If I have to shut the mixer off every minute to scrape the bowl so it actually mixes, it isn't saving me time or work. And they both require that. So buy a good electric hand mixer, good mixing bowls, and stop depending on robots to do everything for you while also freaking out about McDonald's opening a location staffed only by robots.

The Kitchenaid is much more noisy, so the Cuisinart is better for apartment living.
I was trying to decide for a long time which one to choose. Finally after watching this video, I bought a Cuisinart. I'm not disappointed. Thanks!!

Thats great to know cause I just brought the Cuisinart cause the KitchenAid is more expensive

Comparison is missing price and warranty which are huge deciding factors. Cuisinart wins in both of these. 3 yr warranty vs only 1 with Kitchenaid!
KA comes with 5yrs guarantee

I cant believe they dont mention cuisinart can use kitchen aid attachments. So they should be equal in that department.
