    What makes me sick is the fact that when they put a drone over the position the car was at, you could clearly see it underwater.
    You could clearly see a silver colored object under the surface.
    And yet people claimed that that body of water was searched thoroughly.
    Just imagine if Doug had thought: Yup, it has been searched, no need to check again.
    She wouldn't have been found for another period of time. Maybe never,.

    Her being found in the back tells me she was alive and awake when the car went in. Most victims of accidents where the car goes into water (unless knocked unconscious from a fall or impact) are found in the back as the engine in the front pulls it down into the water the front fills first. People tend to crawl away from it to stay in air causing them to end up dying in the back.

    • @Hollister74
      @Hollister74 Год назад +30

      Agreed AWP has mentioned before that when a victim is found in the back, or even the "trunk" area of an SUV it doesn't necessarily mean there is foul play. That if they take off their seat belt the body can move in the vehicle. That was why I was surprised when they found her the one guy who dived (newish diver in AWP) seemed to indicate otherwise.

    The fact that the coroner is also the Sheriff & Public Relations Officer told me they were going to say this was an accident. I think it's a conflict of interest that this office ever handled the autopsy especially when Sammi is a child of the local law enforcement. I don't believe Keilly did anything to herself and that her friends killed her. All the time line doesn't match and they have not exposed who called roadside? Why did law enforcement deliberately mislead the investigation knowing a witness told them where that car was at? I think it will come to light that she was murdered by her friends. I was thinking that the whole thing was an accident at first because she was at a party where there was under age drinking, drugs and driving home afterwards. They did find THC and alcohol in her system saying that she could have accidentally drove into the lake drunk and drowned. The only reason I decided to change my mind on it not being an accident is because it's very strange that the team of divers that weren't even connected to the police in any way were the ones to find her deceased at the bottom of the lake in her car. The weird thing about that is the fact that the police claimed to have looked all through that lake with their own drivers and even helicopters and they said that they never found anything yet the team of drivers that were seperate from the police investigation were the ones to find her. I feel like the police lied about searching the lake and not finding her. The police know something. They are either covering for one of their sons that was involved or a police officer who was involved in her murder. It very well could have been an accident, but it's just so odd that the police claimed that they searched that entire lake where her body and car were found and they came up empty handed. Then to make matters even stranger were the hoodies that she wore at the party. The first hoodie read "odd future" and the second hoodie she borrowed from a friend that night had a Lana del Rey quote about wanting to disappear, but not wanting to be forgotten. What a strange coincidence... Hopefully someone does the right thing and their conscience kicks in and they come forward. Her family deserve answers...

      No alcohol was found her ethanol levels were high. This can be part of the decomposition of the body. However, no water in the lungs is a huge red flag. The levels of THC weren't discussed, and it stays in the body for up to 72 hours. Her being in the rear of the car could be a sign she struggled to get out through the back seat area. It's still very strange. As a diver, it's very easy to become confused in murky water. But we can work out which way is up. It is all very strange that the case was closed so quickly.

    All this means is that she was not dead when she went into the water. So she breathed in water and drowned. She could have been passed out.
    If the car were upside down and she were in the drivers seat, she would have floated up to the floor. There is very little room between the top of the back seat and the roof of the car, I doubt she could have forced her way into the cargo hold very easily.
    Also, I have heard she was tethered down in the cargo area with a third seat seatbelt, which was sticking out of the hatch.
    My guess is she passed out from intoxication, "friends" thought she was dead, panicked, threw her in the cargo hold of her car and tossed the car into the lake. The authorities want this case gone. I don't trust them.

Keep track of the date, time and get witness signatures if possible. After a few months was able to take this information to the District Attorney. Dry drowning isn't a medical term and is not used in autopsy reports so it just says drowning. When you drown your airway shuts, then you lose consciousness quickly so your lungs don't typically fill with water immediately. Your stomach doesn't take on water either since it's normally closed off (you have to swallow) unlike your airway which is normally open. Her stomach was mostly intact and had some peas and beans in it. I believe they concluded it was drowning because they could find no other possible causes and she was found underwater. She also had THC and possibly alcohol in her system so intoxication may have played a role.

      Her vehicle was traveling around 10-15 mph at a steady speed after a short pause at the fork in the road. The vehicle also makes a slight right turn before hitting the water which indicates they tried to avoid the water and couldn't stop in time due to the slope and the speed they were traveling.

But I also know in a panic she could've conceivably hit the power window button on accident as she was fleeing the drivers seat. That is a real possibility. 2 If she did dry drown after 2 weeks in the water her throat would've relaxed and allowed some water in.especially since she was inverted in the rear of the vehicle. To me, if she drowned ahe was gasping for breath, and in fact dry drowned then the carbon monoxide would've bubbled out of her lungs thus filling with water. Either way it's a complete tragedy for such a beautiful and smart young woman.

    Think about it, if you drive into a lake, it's dark. In the time it takes, after getting over force of that sudden stop, your car has already started rolling upside down, water is rushing into the open windows, so within seconds you're struggling to breath. Then your under water on your hands and knees panicking to get air. Fumbling around trying to find that open window. I seriously do not and will not believe that she drown in that car. No way. With a fully "dowm" driver window and at least 2 other windows down far enough for that tiny girl could fit threw. I have been in a car that went into water and was drunk, my friend was not. We had to make a split second choice to go head on with a wrong way driver or turn and go off the road. It was a scary and very intense situation. That was extremely unexpected. We had one window that was partly down and being beyond the limit of legal drunk, I was incoherent and couldn't even get in the car myself and was able to find and escape from the window that was partly down even guiding my sober friend out.
