I was in AIT with a kid from Gary Indiana. I didn't believe him when he said how depressed the area is until I watched an entire documentary on it. It's been almost 20 years since that documentary was made and it looks like not much has changed. Very sad that we can't take care of our own Country while we send Trillions overseas in the same time period.
