At :40 seconds that red building on the right was the towns highschool built in 1911 I believe, my great grandmother graduated from there in 1936. It was closed for a number of decades but was re opened as a day care named “his kids” for a short while in the early 2000’s my mother worked there and would take me with her as a young child and they finally closed it down for good due to black mold and significant rotting in the floors. My family has a lot of history in this town and areas around it had a farm about 8 miles from there off J highway

Grew up in Jerome from '94-2004 on good ollll 3rd street. This video brought back so many memories. Used to play in the park on the daily, ride bikes down the crazy hills, take the bus down to Clarksdale for elementary school.. sheesh, what a time. Thanks for the good content!

People were so blinded during the ministry of Jesus that he left a man dead for four days, then brought him back from the dead just to try to convince all his nay sayers that he was the son of God. Has the world blinded your eyes and alienated you from the life of God? Jesus said many are going to think they are on their way to Heaven only to find themselves in Hell. Jesus said there is a narrow way that leads to life that FEW find. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Is your faith superficial? Jesus said whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. And if you can confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved. Sometimes it takes a little desperation like we heard King David have pleading to God create in me a clean heart and renew a right sprit within me oh God Purge me with hyssop so I might be clean wash me so I may be whiter than snow. We must have a life saving type of faith. We see in the bible even the devils believe there is one God and tremble. In the book of James it clearly shows faith without works is dead. Through our faith and works we are justified. Every man is appointed once to die and then the judgement. Come all the way to Christ by faith, repent and be saved. Before it's too late. There is no return to normal, because there is no normal. We are in the midst of rapid change, which always causes crisis. The byproduct of the industrial revolution was smog and industrial pollution. This is the information revolution, being a social/intellectual revolution, its byproduct is misinformation and social upheaval. I’m doing my best to not let this chaos upend the person I am, and no matter what happens to our world, I will be the same optimistic, kind and curious person I have always tried to be. Buying a house in cash was never a thing. People used to be able to save for one but that's gone now. Between Federal and State taxes, sales tax, all the other forced stuff like insurance of all sorts, you only keep about 50% of what you earn. Meanwhile what you do manage to keep goes towards feeding yourself and paying bills. Inflation is the final tax to make sure you can never get ahead.

Your videos hace always caught my eye. Im 38 and moved to chino valley from petaluma three years ago in April. We got lucky and bought a house. I use to ask myself the same questions, can i afford a house, can i pay off a house, can i get ahead in life. Its possible. My little brother created a roofing business in Sonoma County l, he rolls in cash but works ALOT but the money's their. He is also a foreman 40 hours a week at a different roofing company. I may start a fire wood business. I feel a lil dead after doing that all day and still work 40 hours at costco, but thats how you do it. If your ever around chino insurgence is a cool place to grab a drink. It would be fun to sit and chat.

Serge, my heart goes out to you. As a young person, life’s bigger reality is hitting. Very hard. The innocence of youth is shedding off of you, and it feels like overexposure. Like emotional fur and callouses would help right now. We are lone wolves with you. (I wonder if howling at the moon would help us find each other!) Take courage. What you are doing is so smart! You get away and out into nature where it is quiet. You read books with real pages. You think, question and maybe journal your experiences. It’s a flashlight in dark times that lets you see one or two steps ahead. We are in a soul searching time. When the tears are shed and the high fives quiet down, who are we now, as a nation - as people? We shall see.

Does anyone bully you on here? I sure hope not but I'm willing to bet they do. I just post videos about my garden and animals and some books i like and i get haters. To say it's surprising is to understate how disheartening it actually is. My son is 17 and the way all them talk on their video games is just so jarring. I'm grandparents lived in Ash Fork. Marshall Trimble published a book about Ash Fork and my grandparents, mother, aunt and two uncles are on page 75. I used to spend summers there and miss this beautiful town. Now, at 60 years old, my parents and grandparents gone, might be time to return to my roots. Love to help build the town back to a beautiful place for people to live and visit.
