    Just found this beautiful shawl & I’m using Premier Anti-Pilling yarns in various pastels for myself and a later one for my 21yr old granddaughter in PA I just moved to Sandpoint ID 2yrs ago. I’m self taught as of 1980 when there weren’t any videos lol Old/School like Me Now 😂 Thanks. Your Work is Always Appreciated and Beautiful 🤩🥰

      Thank you Jamanne2504! Yes, we all had to work it out with only printed words and one-dimensional photos (if any) for crochet before the days of RUclips. Lots of grunt work and making mistakes until we solved the mysteries!

    Oh My Bonnie I Just Love This Pocket Shawl By Far This one Is My Favorite♥️
    A quick little story, my sister in law passed away 5 plus years ago due to lung cancer and my nephew was cleaning her things out and came across some yarn she had, he decided to give it to me, she had a whole bunch of a powder blue yarn with no labels I was trying to figure out what to do with it and decided to make my niece her only daughter a pocket shawl but wasn’t coming across anything that was catching my attention until you posted this video now I’m excited to get it started and send to my niece so that she will always have a huge hug from her mom and I when she wears her shawl ❣️ Thank You for Sharing 🙏💖

      You can add multiples of 3 to the original starting chain to make this wider Wanda!

    I love this pattern. Thanks so much. I have a beautiful yarn I would love to use to make this but it is a DK weight, would you suggest changing the hook size if I use a lighter weight yarn?

    What size hook are you using to close the hood?

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  2 года назад +1

      I used the J (or 10/6.00 mm) hook for everything except the starting chain.
