Great question! You have to read the fine print for exclusions including ACV policies, elective upgrades, rotten decking, or code items not covered by insurance.
I’m going to push hard for our company to use these this year. To many times have I done work for free. Including reinspects that get approved and they choose someone else. Nah uh I’m over it. Great advice as always. Also loving the book by the way.
Great video Adam. We currently do not use them but I want to roll them out this year. 2 questions. Can the homeowner still keep the money & not get the work done? I like the price lock but what if there is extra wood that the homeowner will owe that the insurance doesn't cover (ex. rotted wood somewhere on the roof)?
Yes, Adam, lock the homeowner down tight! Show him / her what an extortionist fee you can use to lock them into a "deal" if they decide to break the deal. They will love the 10% to 20% (or, even greater) fine you impose upon them. They will sing your praise far and wide. They will love you. Of course, you may have legal standing...but, is the ill-will and hate worth the money?

Rock on! Glad to see you wanting to adopt them. Great questions. With the Price Lock Guarantee, you need to read the fine print to them - excluding elective upgrades, code items not covered by insurance, or rotted decking which will be $XX / sheet. You're very welcome!
I love you thanks man
You are very welcome my dude!
When you tell them it’s a price like guarantee what do you do when it’s ACV policy and they expect you to do the work for only the deductible?

This looks like a duplicate comment. See the other one where I responded in detail ;).
Great example. I can't imagine not doing a contingency agreement
