Not only a legend on the mic, he's always been a fucking legend on what we are used to call "stage presence" here in Brazil. "Stage presence" (for us brazilians) has nothing to do with how good the artist is playing and/or singing.. "stage presence" is related to the body language of the artist while performing live on a stage.. it's related to how much better (or worse) the artist can make the performance with his physical behavior while playing live.. It has to do with posture, with how and when the artist moves and stops moving, etc. But "stage presence" is NOT about "being active" or "moving a lot" and/or "going crazy" on the stage. A LOT of artists give everything they have when performing, they use all their energy, they move a lot, jump around, try to hype the crowd, all while having poor "stage presence". Corey's stage presence is absurd.. i feel so much energy coming from just his body language, demeanor and posture.. he emanates some kind of feeling of unintentional confidence.. that the stage is his natural habitat.. a sense of power and that he belongs to that stage and to that moment.
