The Citadel Parents Weekend 2016 Highlights

Every October parents, family members, friends and alumni come to The Citadel’s iconic Charleston campus to visit members of the South Carolina Corps on Parents’ Weekend. Some of the well-attended events include the famous Citadel military dress parade, drill competitions and performances by The Citadel Regimental Band and Pipes. But the highlights of the weekend are the promotion of Fourth Class (freshman) to official cadets and the presentation of class rings to the First Class (senior) cadets.
