I have three reason why this school is better than west point1)this school offers ROTC at all four service branches of the armed force2)This school doesn’t require a 5 year service after graduation which is perfect for people who wanna experience military training but can’t serve abroad 3)Plenty Notable Citadel Alumni who is envolved in military attain the rank of Lt general which is below the rank of four star general.I say this because four star general have the lowest attainable percentage during non war time.Like if agree
What do the Midshipmen and Cadets at the Service Academies have in common with the VMI and Citadel cadets? Nothing, the service academy folks GOT their first choice.
@TideFan Yankee My Citadel Graduates have employed West Point Graduates for years. They are very good followers. My boy, who is a VP at a Fortune 50 Company, also played Football at The Citadel. He has 8 West Point Engineers who report to him ... out of 300 reports. The Citadel is not to be considered less than the Service Academies. They just have Federal Finding. WE don't. And We spanked 2 of the 3 in Football before they dropped us from their schedules. F.A.C.T.S. I played on those teams
@@marshallposey2063 We are a State school, founded on a different principle than West Point, but we produce officers just as effective. My Cadre Corporal is, now, an Air Force Major General. We also fired the FIRST shot of the American Civil War and have 8 Battle Streamers on our Colors for when the College was engaged as its own separate unit. West Point never did that. And ours is the ONLY American Military Band & Pipes to be invited to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (4 times).....Regimental Band Class of 1984.
This video came out a bit after my overnight visit here. Good video for tricking people. I would have felt safer at Virginia Tech during that shooting a few years back than this joke of a school.
