- The University of Notre Dame’s 18th-ranked football team dominated the Boston College Eagles to earn a 44-0 victory on Saturday, November 19. In what was the finale of the 2022 season at Notre Dame Stadium, the Irish sprinted out to a 17-0 first quarter lead, added 20 more in the second quarter and coasted to the season’s largest margin of victory of the year to improve to 8-3.

Thank you for posting this. Go Irish. I used to read meters in South Bend for NIPSCO back in the seventies. I remember one time in the winter and the sun was shining bright with some clouds. It then snowed so hard for a half hour you couldn't see twenty feet in front. I was also there in the blizzard of '78 and that was a treat.

As a Catholic, I don't hate BC but rather look at it as big brother-little brother rivalry. That being said, I just watched the '92 Masterpiece. '93 still depresses me

I will say if you are a long time ND fan, you will understand that Boston College ruined ND title hopes in 1993 and they haven’t been the same since..then in 1994, they beat them even worse (30-11 I think) and they even managed to get the upper hand on ND in 1999 again throughout the early 2000’s.. to make matters worse they beat ND again almost ten years to the day after another undefeated ND team beat FSU in 2002. How crazy is that? So yeah it’s personal with many fans like myself. They can go to hell for all I care
