I remember when Moss scored a TD for Vikings against the Boys and he leaped in the stands . I thought, what a hot dog… the man gave the ball to a wheelchair-bound handicapped person. Class act
I remember this year in fantasy, everyone was taking runningbacks first round just because you were supposed to.. i was like Tom brady has put up good numbers with decent receivers, he just got the best WR and Stallworth.. i got him like 8th pick and cruised to an easy fantasy football championship
Brady’s arm has always been elite
The 07 Patriots was the best football team I've ever seen, should've won the Superbowl.
It's still painful to me now!!
Twice✌
ny🗽👍😂
Vegas won it all….many people lost money…Billion dollars business…😊
@@davidlane9138 That’s cool, Patriots still have more championships, 6>2 😂✌🏾
The best???? They blew the SB 😂😂😂😂
I remember thinking, 'Randy Moss isn't that good'. Then I watch a full game with him in it and later a highlight reel. I was gob-smacked. Open field speed. Jumping ability. Great hands. Smart. Doesn't drop the ball. Keeps his feet in bounds. One of the best wide receivers to catch a ball in heavy traffic I've ever seen. He was actually terrifyingly good.
Man seeing at the bottom All the players names from 2007 and then seeing the Chris Berman ESPN coverage with the intense music football was phenomenal during this time LaDainian Tomlinson Calvin Johnson so many great names
Im an Eagles fan and I was sad this 2007 team didn't finish it off and get the perfect season falling just short in the Super Bowl because they broke records that year with Brady and Randy Moss. Just insane!!! Team was amazing. But with that said they are the ONLY team ever to go 16-0 and no team will ever do that....at least not in my lifetime anyway. Im 39 years old. Especially now in today's game with 18 weeks. Oh well thats sports but man it sucked to see the best team ever choke.
You're an Eagles fan who wanted an arch-rival to lose. Plain & Simple. 😔
@@theloverswineverytime1625 No I wanted that 2007 team to win and Eagles vs Patriots are not really rivals haha. We are in different conferences lol 🤪
@EternalDrumming he means the giants who are our division rivals who beat the Patriots in both superbowls some how.
@@joeywheelerii9136 Ok well yeah that is also true as well since Giants are one of our rivals. But those two Giants teams got hot at the right time and they deserved to win both games. I just wish an 16-0 finished perfect. It would have been cool to see.
Randy was trying to play on a nearly broken ankle in that Superbowl. Healthy? No contest. Still the greatest year.
Watching this and I still get the chills. Dude was too cold. The greatest WR ever! It's not even a debate.
It's DEBATABLE. Yes. Moss is GREAT!!! But in that GOAT Argument you must absolutely put Jerry Rice. Megatron. Cris Carter. Terrell Owens. All in that discussion. All were GREAT. My personal top 2 are 1. Jerry Rice 2.Moss 3..Megatron 4..T.O 5. Cris Carter. That's my Mt. Rushmore of WR Position. And you could put Micheal Irvin in that group too and it wouldn't upset me.
Ok i see how Rice and megatron can contend but carter and especially TO? Come on man! Dont disrespect like that lol even Fitzgerald better than TO or Michael Irvin.
@fabiansandoval6132 look at Carters numbers. Top 3 when he retired in a run 1st defense wins championships league with no top qb on most non winning teams until last few yrs of career with Culpepper and Moss as a rookie In Minnesota. Very similar to Megatron situation and ask Moss ......Carter taught him A LOT about WR in pros and how to be a professional. And TO was top 3 when he retired in numbers some were top 2 and dude was a beast and can still to this day run a sub 4.5 40 I've seen it on RUclips. TO and Carter belong in top 5 argument both are HOF players.
@fabiansandoval6132 and Fitzgerald could be added to that argument sir. You wouldn't get too much of any sort of push back from me dude was a stud at that the position and moved around the formatiom inside. Outside. Backfield. Wildcat. Etc. No argument on Fitz.
@fabiansandoval6132 Irvin career cut short due to neck injury but man dude win national championships in college. Superbowls in pros and for 1st 2 chips in nfc title games of first 2 Superbowl runs was matched up against dion an put up numbers wasn't the fastest guy but was fast enough. In n out of breaks. Crisp route runner. Knew route tree was precise. Smart football guy. Clutch player. Go to guy didn't drop a lot of balls good body usage and control of himself in the air just a great all around receiver and again 1st ballot hof guy. With multiple championships at every level.
There will never be another like moss. The 🐐 of all deep threat wrs
Moss could be a bit of a jerk but I don't think there has ever been anyone better at making contested catches.
There wasn't.
There was Rice, but Moss was a freak of nature.
His jump and speed was superior..
Pushing defenders away from the ball every play makes contested catches easier.
I'm honestly shocked no one else mentions how often this dude just shoved defenders out of the way with his hands on these long TD passes. Pretty sure it ended up hurting one of the Dolphins players too, but I'd have to rewatch to be sure.
Just look at this pass lol 10:05 dude was allowed to just get away with plays like this constantly. Defender has had enough with the refs at 11:50 too.
Calvin Johnson
@@martyfromnebraska1045watched it back, you are actually right on both occasions. are those little pushes not allowed? Moss is clever about it too, making little movement with his arms letting it look insignificant
Today, even at his age, he's probably still better than any receiver in the game.....miles ahead of today's standard....
tell me youre a moron from Boston without telling me youre a moron from Boston
Wanna know what's crazy? This was Randy at the tail end of his prime. He was already losing that godly speed, and he was still toasting guys. Imagine if he had someone like Brady throwing to him his whole career.
I"m only 72 years old and this was the best team I have ever seen! But lost one game, the Super Bowl. Then no one knows how good they were
Can’t believe football we will never be like this again
Man, going to Oakland had everybody thinking Moss must have lost it.
That Raiders team didn't have a quarterback.
That 4th round pick was John Bowie. He played in 5 games in 2 seasons, and recorded 2 tackles. That trade did not pay off for the raiders😢
@duryl and moss could have played with the worst QB ever Russell
But choose to go play with the best QB ever Brady

18-1. 🤣🤣
G-MEN!
Decades?

I'm not even a fan but always find myself checking out that patriots 2007 team with Moss. I remember that backup safety for Pit Anthony Smith running his mouth all week before the game and I just knew we were getting spanked by the Patriots, they made it a point to target that guy in the game lol.
This team was ridiculously good.
I'm glad them boys with Moss & Seau got to play in the SB & I know that yr was special but man I really wanted Moss & Seau to get they chips smh. Crazy yr man

Yeah Moss was a great Super Bowl MVP!!!!!
All until Eli Manning smoked them both.
You are making an emotional statement and that is fine. But reality is, Moss is NOT the best, Jerry Rice was. And the 07 Pats were NOT the best team you ever saw. They didn’t win!! They scored 14 points in the Super Bowl! They lost because they couldn’t move the ball or score.
Unfrinkin believable Moss is that DUDE!
I’m. giants fan and the best thing is that any video about this team will have to be labeled “ undefeated REGULAR season”

The defense 18-1
Offense scored 14.

The Glory Days plus Randy Moss has great football mind and high IQ. I great QB & Reciever makes it look easy👏👏👏
Those were the days
My favorite wr with my most hated QB. It was tough.
Moss is right there as one of my favorite wr's. I'm from MN native and got to watch Moss many times when he was a Viking. But, I am a big Brady fan as his mother Gaylynn (Johnson) Brady grew up as I did in Browerville, MN (population 720). I knew the Johnson family very well.
Half of these TDs was Tom Brady saying "Fuck it, Randy Moss down there somewhere" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Crazy they lost to a Eli led giants team.. twice..
The 2011 squad was nowhere near as good as this one though to be fair.
Eli was made for the highest moments. And for the long grind. But not much else

I don't think people know how insane it was that Jerry Rice only played 12 games in 1987 when he set the record!!
Here's an even more insane stat. From game 6 to game 12 he had 37 total receptions. 16 of them went for TDs!!!

Jerry had so many 16 game seasons
Only moss has 23 tds though
I just question the League preparation that year being a strick year

Omg losing to the Giants in the SB hurt so bad smh but getting that win over Atl kinda made up for it 😂
That Falcons game alone was worth 2-3 perfect seasons. It was more improbable than multiple perfect seasons

34-7 halftime against Buffalo Bills. 😂 it does feel good not seeing the Patriots being the power house of yesteryear 🔥
This is Moss 9+ years into the league. He slowed down a bit by this time and was still menace.
I loved this team and I'm not even a Patriots fan, even though they fell short of a championship,I loved watching Brady too Moss,Moss my fave wr, especially #84 Vikings version,6'4,4.2 speed, his long running strides doesn't look like he's moving fast but he his rolling
Jerry rice, 22 tds in 12 games is a staggering stat I never knew.
*23 he had 22 receiving touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown.
As a Vikings fan this is still awesome to watch.
Damn Asante why you dropped that pick? MOSS is 🐐
It took a miracle throw and a miracle catch to finally beat them 🤯
Seau , bruschi , and vabrel as your linebackers is crazy
Wow back when Madden was commentating, those were the golden days boys, it was peaked, we all took it for granted
Not a Pats fan but damn why couldn't they go undefeated lol. Also Brady to Moss was amazing.
Randy Moss is the answer to the question I still hear people ask: "what could Tom Brady have done with a truly elite, top 5 wideout?"
When you think about it, the possibilities are insane. If he had been paired with a top 5 wideout in 50% of his years, Brady would quite possibly have set records that would be videogame-esque.
Can you imagine if Brady would of had Moss from the beginning through his prime years O.M.G. 😱
The goat 🐐 dude was a cheat code on Madden
If you were in a coma and came out of it and watched this video and were asked, "How long do you think Moss and Brady have played together" you'd probably say, 4, 5 years? And when they told you no, this is their first year playing together , you'd be shocked and fall back into your coma
7:56 That throw and that catch from Moss that was spectacular. I remember waching Moss its like he cant be covered.
Imo it's one of the best ever
Two guys are both all over him
And the way he catches it is like a wizard
Especially his reaction like it's just another catch just wow
