- Wow it's been a minute. We have a lot to catch up on. A part of me wants to apologize for taking a mini break, but at the same time I'd rather just own the fact that I had a lot going on and had to take care of myself. So here's a mini update if you don't follow me on instagram and was wondering what happened...I've been trekking through my first term of nursing school...been so hyper busy, but still managing to make it happen and spend time with friends who needed me and who are leaving soon (I swear this summer is full of so much change for everyone!). In the midst of that, I of course decided to move and then on the forth of July after this video was filmed, I got a concussion from a can that was thrown and smacked me on the top of my skull so hard it made my head bleed. Those who know me personally know how hard it was for me to slow down and rest, but it was much needed and after 8 days I was back to good old me! I'm happy to be back & sharing some more content with you guys, know I'll never leave you in the dust, I just may be posting on some random day...click that bell and turn those post notifications & I'll see ya next week with a super fun video!
xoxo, Kiara

thank you so so much Anna! I appreciate you!
i’m so sad to see you move out of this apartment :(
I am too, but at least she's doing it for good reasons that will only benefit her in the long run!
me too 😘😔
I can’t wait for all the Doug content!!! This is a smart financial move.
Omg yes!! Doug will be back!
Hi Kiara, I am in a similar situation as you. I did the traditional college experience right after high school. Once I graduated, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I looked at more school and applied and interviewed for jobs. I started working while still thinking about more school and set my heart on nursing. At the time, I was still living in the same town I went to college in. I moved back home with my parents and have been living with them while I am pushing through nursing school (I'm paying for my school, too!). I start my final year in just one month! I so want to live on my own but financially, it isn't feasible. I can't wait for that day! If you have any questions about nursing stuff (or life lol), I'm here! Good luck on your path to becoming an RN!
Omg, a concussion?! Glad you're okay! We definitely need to normalize staying at home with our family in the U.S because everywhere else is normal. I'm so grateful for being able to live with my parents while I was in grad school or else I'd be in so much more in debt. As long as you're thriving at school or work I think it's nice to be able to live at home and save.
I know it was a crazy ride these past couple weeks! Saving money does feels so good so I am very grateful for that!
I agree with this 100%! Before my hubby and i got married i moved in to his moms place with him! Stayed there for a total of 4 years so hubby and i could save $! I was living on my own for 3 years before i did this. Hubby was able to start his own business, we’re working on a second one now, we have a child and a house together! Saving $ while living with family has its benefits!
I stayed at home except I am the head of household financially so it didn't help me 🤷 I took out the maximum in loans and I'll probably be paying them the rest of my life.
I felt the same way about moving back home! I thought I was reverting back and stuck in a rut, but then I thought about how smart it is financially. Also, you have that support system for you. I agree with the other commenter that living with your family in your 20s should be normalized. There is nothing wrong with it!
Omg yay! I’m so happy to see you posted!! I spent all of my morning yesterday binging all of your old apartment hunting vlogs so I’m so excited to watch this now!! 💗💗
aww stop that means so much to me! Lots more videos coming soon!
Don't feel guilty for taking a break, your body literally needed it !! I can't imagine what I'd do with all my stuff if I had to move back home so props to you! Have a lovely day😜🌸
aww thanks for understanding Nicole! Love you!
Hey Kiara, thank you for always being so honest with us and taking us through the ups and downs of your life. It's a very courageous thing to do!
So proud of you! Thank you for taking us along on this journey. I moved from NC to Fl when I was a kid but I've moved 8 times in my college/adult life!
Thank you so much for following my journey!
Happy to see you are back on RUclips! Hope you feel better with that concussion and all!
Kiara you are one of my main sources of motivation! Love you girl and goodluck!!!
Your back!!! Yay!!!! I love your videos. Hope you are doing better.
Thank you I am 💕
i just love to see this as someone who moved back in w/ her parents instead of living @ college for my senior year . like i think just financially and timing wise sometimes it is just the best decision you can make . so excited to continue to watch you progress through nursing school and towards your dreams 💕❤️
It really is going to make us farther ahead in the long run! So proud of our smart financial decision making!
You’re back!!! So excited!
IM SO HAPPY TO BE BACK!!
Hey girlie, hope your doing well with nursing school
Thank you! So far I'm alive and loving it, just a grind these last few weeks of the term!
As someone who just moved back home for summer I can totally relate to returning to your high school self. Always love your videos! You just made my day by uploading today!! ❤️❤️❤️
It really does happen...can't wait to get our independence back soon! Proud of us for making it work despite imperfections!
Stopped what I was doing to watch this video! Proud of you and hope everything with school is going great!
You have now idea how much you mean to me!! Hope you have an awesome weekend Eden!
Ahh tb to move in and out vlogs and the ones which are the reason I found you a couple of years ago!
Looking forward to the future apartment and of course this is a very smart and realistic decision :).
Rent and utilities do be expensive everywhere it seems!
Woah, new upload. Yay!! Man, I can’t help but get a bit jealous on how it seems like you’ve got your life together and then there’s me who’s depress and still can’t seem to grasp where my life is going.
But Thank you for taking us to your journey.
you arent alone with that
Sending hugs your way ❤️
Sending love and prayers 🙏🏼❤️
Everyone goes thru down moments during life. I'm pretty sure she is also struggling with this decision of losing her first apartment and having to live back with her parents. You'll find your niche, just keep an open mind and follow your passion. 💕
Aww I love to see all the love on your post! You are 100% not alone and I promise you I don't have it all together. We are trying our best day to day and that's all we can ask of ourselves. The world is a crazy place right now, hang in there & know that I am proud of you no matter what ❤️
Yay kiara is back! We missed you!
Moving back in with the parental unit is just another step at moving forward. I hope you’re not too bummed out. I’m sorry I haven’t commented in a while but I’ve been very sick. Love the videos as always! Also, I’ve moved 3 times in my 35 years. This last time I just moved across the street 🤣
Yes!! Love the video!!
So excited to watch this video and and I was looking forward to watching this video! Thank you so much for making amazing content! Ilysm and happy Friday! I hope that you are having a great morning so far
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for following my journey! I had such a fun morning!
@@KiaraMadisen I am so glad!
I’ve moved three times technically. To my dorm, out of my dorm in the middle of the year thanks to COVID, and to my current apartment but I feel like I’ve moved way more than that from watching so many moving vlogs haha. I’ll probably do the same thing as you once I start grad school though and move back to live with my parents full time to save money. I would honestly do that right now but it’s just not feasible with being in the marching band at my school have having rehearsals fairly late into the night every day of the week and 5 am calls for game days. I wouldn’t have any time to do homework with that 30 min commute without traffic to and from downtown at peak rush hour times :/
i’m so proud of you for sharing the realities of paying for school on your own! it’s incredibly hard! i go to a private university and have lived at home for 75% of it. i do not regret it! saves so much $$$ and although i struggle living at home from time to time it will be so worth it❤️
I have moved 35 times in my 64 years. 4 times before college, 3 times during college, 10 times when I was single and working, 15 times married and working, and now 3 times since I retired. Boy would l love to have all the $$ spent on movers and storage and deposits, etc. 9 have been homes we have owned, 5 owned by my parents and 21 have been rental homes, condos or apartments. And “no” I have never been affiliated with the military. Just moved a lot with my career. Have lived in 4 states (three of them multiple times).
There are pluses and minuses to moving so much. I love that I have really gotten to know a lot about different cities and subcultures within the US but admittedly only on the east coast (Florida to Massachusetts). I love that I have friends everywhere!! What makes me sad is that my roots in any one place are not very deep and when someone asks “where is home for you?” I have to ask “what do you mean by home”? Where was I born? Where did I graduate from high school? Where did I go to college? Where did I meet my husband? Where did we buy our first home? Where was our son born? Where was my last job before I retired? Where am I living in retirement? ALL DIFFERENT 🤦🏻♀️
hey gurl, i hope the move was good and i'm sad to see you move out from your og apartment. i pray that all goes well in school, love you!
Been feeling unproductive for a while now, Kiara drops a video, productivity back on track. I'm getting my life together!
you're a rockstar! Proud of you!
Yay you are back I have missed you so much watching are the ads just for you
omg THANK YOU! So happy to be back ❤️
It so sad your moving, but I understand why it is more financially practical. I hope in the future your able to get a new apartment near to your nursing school, also hope nursing school is going well!! I have moved seven times in my 22 years of life 😂
Love your streams so much sad that your are moving but its a new experience love to see some more streams in August as well
I am glad to see you are well, I thought about you a few times since your community post. I had wondered if you were still moving $2000 is a lot even if you weren’t going to school I can see when the time comes and you know where you are going to settle down becoming a home owner since your mortgage won’t be as high as rent. It is a blessing that you have the flexibility to move home and I think it is wise to do what is best for you and your situation. Be well and continue to enjoy this new chapter of life!
I relate to you so so much, I am living at my parents house too and work at a hospital. I dont know if you remember but when you were struggling on what to do a couple months ago I was too, its so comforting to have someone in the sane position as me. Love you so so much girly
The music in this is 👌🏼 really adds to the ambiance
I love watching your videos!
you look amazing in the dark blue scrubs!😍
You’ve grown so much, ur youtube channel has inspired me to start and focus on my own. Thank you. I’m so sad to see u leave this apartment tho, it’s so nice. I’m definitely going to get one like this when I’m older.
That makes me so happy! So much to look forward too..keep on chasing your dreams!
OH MY LORD!!! I WAS WAITING FOR YOU VIDEO!! MISSED YOUU KIARAAAA
i missed YOU! Thanks for watching, hope you're doing well!
Never apologise for needing to take a mini break!! Hope school is going well & well done for making the decision to move, your apartment seems lovely but definitely sounds like the right call. xo
Thank you! Love you guys so much ❤️ Can't wait to hopefully get a new place in a few months!
This is a total mood. I live/work in Madison and moved in with my parents beginning of COVID, and a year later after only saving Im moving back out! It’s definitely an adjustment living with parents for sure, but in the long run this will kickstart your savings :)
moving vlogs are my FAVORITE💗
Mine too!
I’ve moved 3 times in my life but I know I have more to come! Loved the vid per usual your playlists are always so good :)
Always more to come haha! Thank you so much for watching!
Ahhh I was so excited to see that you posted!! I haven’t moved at all in my life but I will be once I move into my college dorm!
Omg I am so excited to hear how your move goes! You're gonna love setting up a new space!
I’m soooo late, but I just wanna say that I’m very proud of you for doing all of this while being in nursing school. I also moved back to my parents house during covid, after moving 6 times in 3 years, and I can tell you that it’s really nice to spend time with your parents. Cherish all the memories you’re making and goodluck with school!!!!!
Thank you so much Claire. I needed this today .
You're sooo humblee!🤩🤩🤩🤩 such an inspo❤
Love you Petra ❤️
Good luck with the move! I’m a junior in college and staying at home with my parents until I graduate, and potentially even through grad school, and I know I’m saving a LOT of money. There are definitely pros and cons but in the end I feel like it’s worth it, and I’ll stay as long as they let me 😂 It definitely seems like a very American thing to have kids move out the second they turn 18, and I still feel like I’m developing independence even though I still live at home!
Missed you queen!!!!!
Missed you more! Thanks for being patient!
Aww I felt so proud seeing you in your nursing school scrubs at the start of this video!! I've moved 5 times in my life but am about to move for the 6th time - away from my parents house (where I've been for the last year and a half after I graduated university lol) and into my own studio flat for my masters degree! I'm going from the tiny village I grew up in to the capital city so it's definitely my biggest move yet! And you can bet I'll be binging all your moving vlogs in preparation
Aww stop I am so crazy excited for you!! Have fun decorating your own space!
Six moves for me 😃 so glad you’re back can’t believe you’re moving out of such a nice place 😥 but I had to do the same when I was at university, was just too expensive in my final year. You’re definitely being smart and making the right decision. Hope nursing school is going well ❤️
It really is! Thanks for all the support and the best comment! Hope you had the most amazing weekend!
Sad to see this apartment go but I know a new beautiful space and future awaits you🥰
Ive been in a boarding school most of my life so moving is a regular thing for me!
I literally watched the ads without skipping hoping it would actually help, so fingers crossed. I love you, hope this new chapter of ur life turns out amazing!!
stop. you are actually an angel. thank you 🥺💕
Hi. You are amazing. You are truly inspirational❤
Girl you are too! Thanks so much for watching!
Yesterday I saw the video you were in Keegan's channel. And now you upload a video! This is the good way to end the week
The content is back! Thanks so much for watching!
omg I've never been this early!!!!! so excited
We love to see it! Thank you so much for watching!
Sorry to hear that
I feel you about moving back in with your parents. I moved back home to finish school virtually in the pandemic, and motivation was TOUGH! Also, I totally get the feeling like your highschool self part. The good news is, I think after a few months my "at home self" matured and it was easier to feel more like myself.
I love your perceptive! I think so many people are in a similar spot and it is hard, but also has its perks so I can't complain & am so lucky to have a place I call home!
Good luck to you!!
Hello Kiara! I miss you so muuuuch. I've been busy to with work, which I'm grateful for. Hope you are doing good and I'm sad you're moving out. But I know its for the best! God bless you always Kiara! Your #1 fan in Philippines ❤
Hey girl...
All the best with your packing n next apartment hunting...
You move to your new home again! Happy weekend, Kiara!❤️
Oh yea! More moving!
I am happy your moving to your new home
I love seeing multnomah village! I worked at casa Vacca & I’ve been watching your videos since I was a freshman in college- always makes me the happy nostalgic kind of homesick 💕
Wait no way! I cut it out of the vid bc it was getting king, but my parents and I went there on my last night in my apartment bc I was dying to try it and it was AMAZING!! It’s such a wonderful place to live. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Yeeees! You're back 💃🏽
so happy to be :)
I think is so great to have the opportunity to go back home with your parents, do what's best for you and don't feel like yo need to explain yourself, you know what you are going through, and honestly is really cool to spend time home as an adult with mom and dad
Thank you so much for the support! So true!
Literally woke up to see this in my subscriptions feed.
Your content and your personality make me smile. Here's what your name stands for:
K - Kindhearted
I - Incredible
A - Amazing
R - Rosy
A - Adorable
She is definitely all of these.
day=made.
(:
this apartment is beautiful!!!
Thank you so much...I'm gonna miss it so much!
I totally understand how you feel! I'm moving out of my dorm room (after 3 years in this room and 5 years in this city) and I'm really sad about it. I'll be studying for an extra year in another city next year, but I still don't really like leaving.
In September I will be moving to my third dorm room (in 6 years and 2 cities so it's really not too much). It's still not completely moving, because I still go home every weekend and every vacation and I have most of my stuff at home. (That's how dorm rooms work in Belgium.)
Yeaaaa she uploaded 😁, hope you are doing well and everything is going okay so far 😘❤️
Yes! Thank you! Feeling so much better! Missed you guys!
@@KiaraMadisen we missed you too very much 😢, glad you're back and feeling much better ❤️
Omg I missed u SO MUCH ❤️ hope u are doing ok.
I missed you so much! I feel so much better now thanks for checking in!
I'm 26 and I've moved 10 times and 3 times of total I moved from town to town and if I want to be more focused , I actually moved 14 times because I've been following you since your first moved and I lived the life with you , so I can't wait for our 15th move kiaraaa😍💪❤💐
I can relate to this video so much right now. I had moved out this January, but due to Covid, I had to come back. I honestly miss that life and the growth I had. No worries, better things lie in the future. Gotta have that hope! 🤞
ugh I totally know how you feel. Hang in there we got this.
What a great friend helping you move. 😊
I know!! So lucky to have her in my life!
You are great!!
So are you!
@@KiaraMadisen hey from Cancún, mexico🥰
Before my husband and I bought our current house, we had moved 10 times in 8 years.
You’re so smart to move in with your family to save money! You’re an amazing role model!
Aww thank you! I needed to hear that ❤️
I’ve moved five times!!! Next move is allllllllll on my own (well with my man) but first move without family! Very excited!
Such a big & exciting move! Hyped for your next adventure, soak up every second!
Look for a cheap Trailer or Camp Trailer. What you save on fuel you might pay for it. If it's a camp trailer look for one that's 30 to 40 ft. That way you'll have a living room and it wont be like living in a Camper. I got the House Trailer I'm living in just for paying the Trucker to move it. I also paid to move the 12x30 addition and that made the addition mine as well. My Rent is still $265 a month with Garbage and I have to pay for Water & Sewage on top of that. Then there's Electricity.
hi, what a nice video. Good luck with all the packing. I know moving is soo exhausting, but I actually like to get to know new places, so it is a win on one hand :) My family moved a lot when I was a child, it must have been around 8 times or so. Afterwards in 2019 to my first uni experience, then back home and in 2020 to my new uni to the dorms. then in the summer back home and in August, I will move to a new apartment in the same city. But I am really excited to get to know a new part of my college town. I hope you will have lots of fun with your family
It really it kind of a fun adventure to be in a new spot! Always pros and cons in each spot...thanks so much for watching & commenting!
Sad to see you leave your cute little apartment, but so glad to see you living your nursing school dream. I’ve moved 12 times in my life.
That's quite a bit of moving! I think it's a great decision overall, but I will definitely be looking forward to finding a new place!
Can we talk about the soundtrack? Perfection!!!!
omg thank you for noticing 🥰
I just feel like we’re having a catch up as friends! Hope everything goes amazing for you ❤️
You guys are the best friends a girl could ever ask for. Thank you for all the love & support ❤️
Also the sunburn on your cheeks is so adorable lol
haha thank you...it was an unexpected smooch after I went to a funeral in the sun
So smart to move back in with your parents. I live in Portland and the rent is ridiculous! Enjoy the time with your parents its so valuable.
It really is! I am hoping rates drop in the winter when less people are moving and maybe there will be some better deals!
I've moved about 14 times. 5 of those were with my family and the rest was throughout university and after graduation. My husband and I built the house we own and moved to most recently.
I've moved around 12 times and I haven't even started moving to my dorm and stuff! I'm still packing!
So many memories with this apartment
for real....might have to make a montage of some in the final goodbye video.
I lived with my parents all 3 years of law school. I saved so much money. You can move to another cool apartment when you’re done. It’s a good financial decision!
* me watching every single adv from the beginning to the end so I can help you out somehow *
Lots of love from seville, Spain 🇪🇸 ✨
Marta that means so much!! Thank you so so much for all the support!
I'm here girl! Awww I love that place so much ❤❤❤❤ Btw you look great with your uniform on❤❤❤
And also I'm about to move out from my parents house next week. My very first own house.
Ps: 300k is coming ❤
Aww thank you! OMG I am so proud of you! That is HUGE & you're gonna need to DM me so pics on IG so I can see! and I know I am so excited to hit 300K
@@KiaraMadisen I will❤
Your decision is right
Thanks girlie ❤️
Ily😭❤️
Love you!! Happy friday!
I've moved 3 times... Moved out of my childhood home when i was 20 into my holiday house, lived there for 2 years.... and then decided to knock down that house to rebuild on the same land so i moved into my brother's house for 7 months.... and then moved into the brand new house and have been here for 10 years. 💖
Don't feel bad about moving. Knowing you have a place to go and not dumping out all that money each month is a huge plus. Good chance to get rid of things.
Such good perspective! Thank you for watching ❤️
12 times! I’ve moved more than 12 but a few times to a different apartment in the same complex so I don’t count those.
omg so many! Hey all of those count...it's so much work to move units!
I've moved my entire life. I was born and raised in KSA (not a citizen) and we don't have our own houses there so we had to rent. It took us more than 5 times to move from one house to another (in KSA) and then a few more times as we moved here back in the Philippines (3x I think). Luckily, my husband has his own house and lot so I don't have to experience moving any more!
I have moved 3 times in my life. Hopefully gonna move in August but we have a pretty serious COVID lockdown so I don’t know if I’ll be able to
Hoping your plans work out! The world is so unpredictable right now!
I've only moved once. I stayed at home for university and then got kicked out of home after my first year of working. I moved in with my now husband. Our next move will be to a new country.
👍👍👍 the best nurse ever
I so appreciate this.
