The rebranded Yikong is its own unique scale. Same with the SCX6. Most of the hobby is at 1/10, so a proper versus video is hard with either of these vehicles. Best advice is to drive whatever puts the biggest smile on your face.
@JT-6s you're totally right! However, I was asked by many views to do this video, so I did. Whichever RC keeps you smiling is the right one for you! Thank you for supporting the channel it's really appreciated!
@MrZig epic! I'm sure you will enjoy it! The only thing to point out with Rlaarlo is the long delivery. I'd go over the truck when it arrives. Make sure the diffs all lock and unlock correctly. Other than that, the product is great! Thank you for supporting the channel! It's really appreciated!
MK-07 any day, and there's a brushless version now, half the price and a great performer. I'm gonna save up for one, after I get the Rlaarlo rally car to be released later this month. The larger scale axial should handle the obstacles easier with the bigger chunkier tyres, and it can handle a little more, but still the MK-07 for me.
@WorkInLight fair comment! The only thing I will say is that Rlaarlo has poor customer service 😕 and some of the MK-07 have issues out the box. So, quality control isn't quite there! It's a hit and miss. Overall, it's a fantastic truck for the money.
@@thercstore. The company is 3 years old this month, they are also very proactive with the RC community and take on board what is said and fix issues. I say 'watch this space' as they are a growing company and doing very well. I reckon the big boys should be worried about Rlaarlo and what they do and how they do it. They produce good cars that may have some issues initially but as I say, they seek to fix them and make right with those that have issues, and value for money, is anyone better out there? I'm in their FB group and can only say what I see, not some fan boy just because. I think they may be growing too fast for their customer service to keep up, don't forget they are another China based company so distance is an issue, they may need distributors and/or agents around the world, that would help. Keep an eye on that as if they do, you could get in on that? I honestly don't think they can keep up with demand. The new brushless MK-07 has had issues resolved from what I hear, as this is what Rlaarlo do. They don't have 20 to 30 years of experience behind them, but they will get there at this rate. Keep an eye on them, I expect more good stuff from them and to only get better. Keep up the good work, you have a blast and fun is what it's all about.
@ianjohnhorwood2605 yeah! Looks good in terms of asthetics, but I wouldn't order one personally after the service I received with the MK07. Just my opinion!
I’ve been looking for some 2.6 tyres for these and it seems to be really limited. The only ones I can fine are cheap AliExpress ones. This could be a downfall for the Rlaarlo unless the big tyre brands steps up and starts making some
@markusmaximus8699 I'm sure the MK07 are 2.2 ??? 🤔 I've not seen any 2.6 unless they have made these in an odd size?.. If I was changing the tyres, I'd go 2.2 just my opinion.
@ I just checked and they are definitely 2.6. I’ve gone down a wheel/tyre rabbit hole since I purchased a mix h8h a couple of days ago, trying to find the perfect set up for it.
@markusmaximus8699 For the H8H, I used 2.2 proline hyrax, and they were perfect 👌🏽 in terms of size, etc. Wheels and tyres are a personal choice. Some 2.2 tyres, the outer diameter is greater than others, depending on the design of the tread. Finding the perfect setup is trial and error. As what suits you may not suit me. Depending on terrain and conditions.

I'd go mk07. Just ordered the brushless, so going by your video, should be good. Great vid. Keep em coming.
