- Leon, Mexico (MMLO/BJX): my Go Pro 6 flew attached to the left landing gear of an Airbus A320Neo (320-251N).
Hear and enjoy the sound of the beautiful Leap 1A engines accelerating to take-off thrust. Speedometer included to see take-off speed in Kilometers per hour (KPH)
Gopro Wifi doesn't have enough range to be controled from the cockpit so i had to leave the camera recording the entire flight, unfortunately battery didn't last to record the landing. Cockpit view recorded with Gopro Session
00:00 Intro
00:24 take off data
01:20 180 degree turn
02:35 take off
03:31 landing gear up

Thanks for the metric system
Saludos!!!
Interesting view. But disturbing to see some foreign object deliberately attached to main gear, and in a way to be hit/moved upon retraction.
lovely leap engines
Fantastic. 100 out of 💯
😍😍😍😍 Súper chingón
Buen video 👍
That was pretty damn cool! 👌
VERY COOL 2 SEE THAT
Full fast! Yeaaah
Fun starts at 02:45
Best sound in such a aircraft is when both engines fire up to gain V1 speed and finally lift off.
Off all my air travels this part has always been a great experience 🤩🤩😍😍
Great video! I wonder if the camera was ok after the hit.
It didn't hit anything, he also put it again to record front view in another flight. The clearance of the landing gear truss is big enough to fit a gopro
Cool beans.. 👍
omg, i'm addicted!!!
Lorenzo Adelchi Lombardi me too!
How did you get the permit to attach the GoPro on the A320 gear, because that's a battery device which can be a potential threat...???
Cuz he's the captain and that's his aircraft brotha. He's the one calling the shots and the one that is responsible for the safety of the aircraft. So if he determines that a GoPro attached to the main landing gear is not a threat, that's because its not.
@@laloglez1058 NEGATIVE! Things DON'T work that way on a airliner...
@d mukherjee he didn't....
A li-Ion battery is only a threat if 1) it overheats or 2) it is physically damaged. In the landing gear bay temperatures are sub-zero, and the landing gear truss have a wide clearance. Finally, if a tiny Li-ion battery burst into flames in -50C in a small space with nothing else flammable and one of the most reinforced parts of the aircraft, the maximum it would happen is a blown tire (which happen from time to time and is not a danger) Also, you don't think he did that alone without anyone helping him did you?
@@MrCaiobrz A320 Landing gear bays are not sub-zero. In fact the heat on the brakes after takeoff are around 150 degrees Celsius, and remain well over 50 degrees Celsius during the whole flight. That is because that space is completely sealed from the outside.

How about yall just appreciate the video you FAA wannabes
Good safety idea to leave a running Gopro with a battery known to overheat in the gear bay, needless to say it's foreign object near moving parts.
I agree, how is this allowed?
@@blaketuszynski4975 Pretty sure it wasn't a big deal but in FAA country part 121 they can't even film in the cockpit, which I find overruling.
Bitch just appreciate it.
@@ohihihahehe shut up you fucking 11 year old
why tf do you care, the video was uploaded because the plane landed safely so stfu.

the camera twisted when the gear was closing, imagine if it went the wrong way and ended up jamming the door; i hope someone reports this to the airline, this is so irresponsible considering this was most likely not approved by the company
But wouldn't the camera be crushed?
@@zaltmanbleroze maybe just the arm of the camera was moved and the camera withstood the shock
@@zaltmanbleroze if that were to happen the pieces could fly and scratch the underside of the fuselage or even pierce the horizontal stabilizer
Flight sim- for sure.
There is going to be a drop in cabin pressure
really ? …. going over 200 mph at takeoff ?
That’s pretty normal
kilometers per hour
I hope that this is a joke
What do u want plane takeoffs around
300kmh and landings
240to 260kmh
Nice video, but one of these days you might end up regretting this. Could be some damage done to that million $$$$ plane and you don't have the mula to pay for it. But nice video!!!!
Yeah, because he went with duct tape and put that gopro there with no authorization or any technical support whatsoever, he is that stupid.
This is an act of irresponsibility. Nothing should be attached to an aircraft unless it is certified, no matter how much hours have been spent studying where best to attached the Go Pro. The clearances in the landing gear folding mechanism are very tight and it could have very easily damaged a hydraulic or electric line, in fact the last seconds of the footage prove it. If I were the employer I would have dismissed the person for this brilliant idea of jeopardising the aircraft safety. One of the thumbs down is mine!
I agree. The FAA, for better or worse you be the judge, would throw a fit if they could. US carriers are not allowed to have cameras in the cockpits unless strictly controlled and authorized… sticking one to the landing gear is crazy for an airliner. What would the manufacturer say?
Another "thumbs down" from me!
@@prancer1803 Why would you mention the FAA?
you sound like you have a lot to live for.
Yeah, because he went with duct tape and put that gopro there with no authorization or any technical support whatsoever, he is that stupid.
flight sim.......
ikr? people believe that other video is MSFS, overconfidence in technology (or believed the MSFS hype?)
LOL?????
MSFS does not look nearly this good
bruh how the hell they get the cockpit view then and the camera hitting the wall of the l/g comp
