LOVE the Norse Sagas & legends! I'll have to look for the evil troll woman & the ax. Iceland has some of the coolest stuff to see & do. You & Nina can have adventures every day. Go catch up with her at the waterfall! God bless.
You can read this legend here

@@IcelandExplorer Thank you for the great read! I find it interesting that where the silver ax head came to in the river is where the Icelandic parliament began. I bet you & Nina put the Christmas tree on Jora's rock, since the writer said it wasn't there in '08! Just joking! Really, thank you so much.
Beautiful and chilly!
Iceland seems like such a beautiful country. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Absolutely lovely scenery 😃👍
Nice waterfall, and a great troll story 👍😎
Thank you for sharing your adventures and exploring! The history and legends. These are places most of us will never see.
I so appreciate it.
Stunning
Beautiful!
Amazing! Thank you for the video~
Recommend doing a video of Öxarárfoss in winter. This waterfall looks spectacular in Winter when it is mostly frozen. In fact I recommend you include Summer and Winter videos of all the waterfalls you visit as ice covered falls are even more / as spectacular a normal waterfall!
PS - Gullfoss in Winter is a crystal palace with all the frozen spray!
Another beautiful place in Iceland that I have added to my "If I ever get to Iceland list". There seems to be so many unique and interesting places there. I'm going to have to spend an entire month just to see them all.
I am always amazed at how young the geology is in Iceland. It has a compelling, stark beauty. That river falling over a sharp cliff is an example of how young the landscape is. It hasn't had time to erode the cliff face.
Here in Australia, we have ancient geology. It seems to me that all our rocks are rounded and eroded with age. The volcanoes on the mainland have been extinct forever. We are in the middle of a tectonic plate so earthquakes here are extremely rare. Our mountains are basically hills, we don't have the sharp uplifted monsters like you find in places like the Himalaya.
Thank you for showing us this amazing landscape and sharing the stories that make it come to life.
What a beautyfull Place! Thanks for the Trip 🙋👍
The great thing I discovered about Iceland during my visit is the Authority’s attitude to ‘risk’. People there are left to make their own decisions concerning what ‘risk’ they expose themselves to and access to places, where elsewhere in the world would be considered too risky, are freely available. For example paths to active volcanic eruptions were not screened off during summer. You can weave your way through Volcanic eruptive thermal springs, stand on the banks of raging icy glacial torrents and walk under freezing waterfalls from melting glacial streams. It’s certainly the land of fire and ice and a place where the ‘Nanny state’ is minimised.
Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us. You have a very amazing and beautiful country ❤
This is very beautiful with a dusting of snowy ice! Amazing place!
I think I will try to paint that with my watercolors! TY for the video!
Good to hear about the covid count. My hubby and I are getting our booster in 2 weeks! Be safe!
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I always learn something knew every time I watch your video's. Is the water cold or warm water 😘 one for you and😘 one for Nina.
Great legends and Norse sagas and incredible, stunning nature equals Iceland!
Thank you !!!!
Thanks for the upload Roman. do you know what is going on north/nw of nar mbl cams looks like big lava floods in the back ground. All the best
Beautiful place. Thank you for sharing it with us. It is so interesting to know that precisely in that area is where two geological plates are separating, slowly but unstoppably. You said, Roman, that in the past you used to drive tourists here? Did you take pictures or video there at that time? What changes have you noticed in the height and width of this place? It would be really interesting to see any previous visual material that you may have on this area. Best regards for Nina and for you.
Que lugar lindo, Maravilha, adoro água, quedas d'água...
Beautiful! Is that reflected light on the rocks, i thought it was snow at first. ❤️🌿
Y'all make such a handsome couple. Nina is so pretty with her blonde braids. Just like I like to wear mine. Thanks Roman, for sharing yall's treks with us! GBY both!

Amazing spot.
Such a beautiful continent!!!! Again thank you for all you do. Stay safe!
The falls ! 😍
Beautiful.
What’s on the top of that, where the water coming from ?
What a beautiful waterfall I would be tempted to get in it if it were not too cold. Is it allowed to get in it when it's warmer?
Hello, thank you for these beautiful and interesting videos! Jesus and I love you - stay well (also girl friend)!
Thanks.
Here it is solid rocks and stones, from the beginning it must been lava. How many million years dose it takes to transform???
Good place to send the drone up into the air to see the source of that water.
All the other times you came there in the past, I know you did not own a drone then.
Yesterday, Roman uploaded a video taken by his drone over this area. Look for it in his channel. 😃
Which side is higher? East or West? …… West = American. Thanks. Spectacular.
Is that water hot or is that water cold ?
I think all I see is spray ♨️
❤
And then there were no more trolls in Iceland
Bring us to Gog n Magog's wall, bro..
Beautiful!
