for the spindle there is a tool i got on amazon that goes on a 1/2in rachet that lodges between the gap in the hub and when rotated spreads it out so the strut can side out without taking all the control arms and tie rods off
Those spindle tools are garbage, I got like one use out of the one I bought on Amazon before it just wore down and effectively didn’t spread it anymore. I had better luck just hammering a filer in there that progressive increases in size
I am enjoying your 2020 Toyota Supra build! I am currently building a 1985 Toyota Celica Supra. The car was my grandma's (original owner). I have never worked on cars prior to this. I have replaced all the fluids, filters, vacuum lines, radiator, radiator tubing,, cold air intake tubing, spark plugs and wires, etc. I am getting ready to put new headers and a Magnaflow exhaust from Raptor Racing on it. I have a big brake kit from Ceika that needs to be installed. I have new shocks and springs that need to be installed. Looking to purchase Whiteline sway bars. I love having a project car that is not only fun to drive but sentimental. Keep it up, guys! Love the content!
Man I love watching this crew work. The skill level is top notch, the camaraderie is next level, and my only wish is that I could watch them build my car! Can't afford VIP so I can't enter in the Dream Build series :(
This video series is a great idea. What not to do when modifying a car and the correct way to modify a car. The only thing i would have added in (for content reasons), is showing how to make the "what not to do" option work. Cause to be fair, we all know one car out there with properly cut springs that is completely safe to drive. 💪🏆
I once swapped my work van with my boss for the weekend, When I got it back I drove uo one road and round a roundabout on to a dual carriageway and I got loads of noise from the front wheel, I got out and saw all the wheel nuts were loose and the holes had slotted I tightened them up went back to my boss who told me he had changed the wheel on the Friday and had driven about 200 miles like that. 1 new wheel and one puncture repair later I was back on the road.
you know what sucked? working at a tire shop and getting a customer car with aftermarket wheels on their bmw/vw/merc and they didnt have hub rings. that makes it 100x harder than normal
How to lower your car for zero smechkles 0:25 hahaha NGL after the gubaaa gaaaabaaa gubbbaaa oshit on the video you put the exhaust pipe had me dead you might be my favourite member of the group man 😂😂😂😂😂
ive had 3 cars lowered... my first lowered car= racelands, they lasted a month before i put the stock ones back on. absolute garbage.... second... bc racing ds series becuase BRs were out of stock.... i couldnt get them to a place i was happy with them they were just all around too stiff and the tires i had general gmax as were bouncey af so i didnt like.... with my current car im on skunk 2 lowering shocks with eibach springs and this shit is so good i cant tell im lowered while driving, it handles like oem +++ and it looks slammed.
To me cutting springs seems like a bad idea. There has to be a reason both ends of the metal are tight and touching another part of the spring. I've never been brave (or as some have sad, stupid) enough to chop springs. I'll continue buying adjustable coilovers for my cars haha
I love Quinn and Ricky’s friendship on camera such awesome team work and respect 😊
😂
Same there my favorite
“That’s precision right there brother” love this😂😂
My exact reaction 😂
I came here for this exact comment! 😂 “special teams, special plays, special players!”
I was literally just about to comment the same thing 😂😂😂
The sketch effect is real 😂
W sketch
Gotta appreciate how well these videos are edited! Shoutout to the editors 🔥
@17:31 sometimes its not about the cars, sometimes it's the vibe. this is why I love this channel

Would've most likely come off before they cut the springs and causing it to wedge in deeper than it suppose to be

There's a tool that spread the spindle clamp open a bit so the shock can slide in and out easier, BMW, Audi, VW they're all like that
The way he say "basura" 🔥🔥🔥
when replacing calipers put a pry bar on the brake pedal and move the seat forward to jam it and it will stop brake fluid from coming out
Awesome,we need people like you all in Puerto Rico, keep doing it!!!!!
Currently running cut springs.... But its a mid 70s car, and it was only a half a coil.
The mini trucker in me wants to put those stock Supra wheels on a slammed clean '87 Toyota Pickup. I can picture it in my mind.
On the front struts, you just have to spread the spindle and the strut can easily be pulled out by hand.
Ricky’s got FLAVA!
My 1st car was a 95 Sidekick. I chopped the springs. I'll never do that again. Yeah it looked sick. But the ride was so rough.
17:33 Had me rollling! This build is turning out awesome
These vids r so entertaining and funny the chemistry between the team is mint
When it’s all bouncy like that, that’s when you go to that stretch of the 52 between the 805 & 15. We’ve gotten air
This is one if the better looking cars that BMW has made in years, especially since it does not have the hideous "big snout" grill

I can definitely see Ricky with cut springs, tells me that he was a hot boy on a budget at one point. Stay true to your routes ricky
17:33 Ricky pulling off some moves
This supra sounds sick .

Cutting springs was popular back in the day. Couldn't find lowering springs for a ton of cars. Do what you gotta do 👍👍
Great video ! Awesome suspension bits and the upgrades to the brakes! Can’t wait to see the wheels and color change!
6:20, you have a tool to open that gap more so the shock slide out
Cut springs, and Crisco, baby. Lets go !
omg the front still had the shipping spacers on the struts from 2020!!!😅
You should do the EBC brakes all around
It’s soo sick 🔥🔥 the pops, the tightness on the looks ughh just a beautiful car you guys are doing amazing!
That boy Ricky broke loose with the tap dance routine. Didn't even know he had it in him. Lmao 😂
I think he learnt it from Pingu
😅😂😂
Bro, Ricky is latin American. I'm pretty sure Rhythm is one part of his DNA.
That’s precision right there brother ☝🏻” 😂
F80 to A90!?!? Throtl's killing it! Two of my dream cars back to back. Hoping I can win one of them

Ricky's dance had me dying 😂 Quinn is a beast! Love all your videos. God bless

That’s sick everything on the Supra is nice so far
That rear OEM brace should have never went out from the factory like that. So easy to bend. I bet it cost too much for that piece. 😢
That's some quality parts ... love the a90 supra
17:08 see the importance of a Rickie in Throtl team 😂🇵🇷
all love brother, from the philippines🙌
BC really really surprised my how close to stock they felt. I threw them on my e92 m3 coming from Bilstein and I was shocked.
This is a norm in South africa, stance boys...mark the register here
replace a single bolt: "I think we should drive it"
they're just in love with the cars 🖤
Possibly stupid question: won’t greasing the back side of the pads cause grease to make it in to your rotor when it heats up?
Looks amazing already
you know what sucked? working at a tire shop and getting a customer car with aftermarket wheels on their bmw/vw/merc and they didnt have hub rings. that makes it 100x harder than normal
Boom Ricky hits a homer
Here in Brazil we cut the springs and it’s working well so far. It’s good, cheap and fun!
I wouldnt brag about that 😂😂😂
How to lower your car for zero smechkles 0:25 hahaha NGL after the gubaaa gaaaabaaa gubbbaaa oshit on the video you put the exhaust pipe had me dead you might be my favourite member of the group man 😂😂😂😂😂
I knew a guy that took a nail & popped a hole in his muffler. Kid you not, it wasn't bad
Quinn makes the videos dope and he's not even the main videographer. Love it. Keep it up fam🔥
Sketch is taking over the internet LOL
Way to cool build I love the Supra
Another awesome video!!! Thanks fellas!!

Those front orange side markers have to be replaced by red, so as to match the rotors.

That rear tire was like “kachow”😂😂
Torque specs have left the chat. 😂

Lmaoo “☝️ that’s precision right there brother”
Keep the content coming 🔥🔥

Why y'all got Miata brakes in the rear tho
0:49 what’s up brother ☝🏼 😄😄😄
That was the best first 3min15 sec of any video finished off with an Ooooh myGod 😂 love your work guys
You forgot heated springs. 😂 Lots of people doing that in mid-90's to lower their cars on the super cheap.
Nice dance Ricky
"Zero schmeckles" 😂 love that rick and morty reference... Lets go babyyyyy
Wish the caliper color was a blue color instead of red
In Finland we call that "laikkamadallus"
ive had 3 cars lowered... my first lowered car= racelands, they lasted a month before i put the stock ones back on. absolute garbage.... second... bc racing ds series becuase BRs were out of stock.... i couldnt get them to a place i was happy with them they were just all around too stiff and the tires i had general gmax as were bouncey af so i didnt like.... with my current car im on skunk 2 lowering shocks with eibach springs and this shit is so good i cant tell im lowered while driving, it handles like oem +++ and it looks slammed.

I'm starting to love this concept of the cheap and wrong way to modify your car, then fixing it😂
Just a quick question should I modified my 07 Toyota Camry?
did you need those BCM cancellers for the ride height sensors?
Did that shit in the 90's
"eyeball alignment" :D
Lol Ricky spec springs
are yall putting a sound system in or no
Ayo Quinn….
When did you realize you had motion twin?
