Just like yourself who interjected to immediately insinuate rather than find dialogue to reason or understand another person. I simply said this was a man code that was more prevalent at one time. To add to that, in some case it is still accepted in other societies so both parties can resolve their difference with out the law interfering. A society will and can have their laws in place all they want, but it will still be abused buy those who have NO WAY TO REASON but instead instigate the matter, or manipulate the situations to full-fill their needs or goal regardless of which side you are on, law or not.

Then, after that, the cop chucks his badge away, proceeds to instigate the fight then lays into the kid. As the above comments says, he should be in jail, he got off lightly just being fired.

Might made right even when it was almost completely wrong on the cop's part and led to an even worse outcome for all involved instead of getting on with the investigation for the initial crime perpetrated by someone completely different. I'm so glad all of this exposure is finally coming out. When I was in my twenties I was with my girlfriend who was driving. She was speeding a little because (as usual) all the other cars on the highway were so just followed what everyone else was doing. But for some reason this cop decided to pull her over.
She even asked; "That truck right in front of me was going the same speed! Why did you just pull me over??" He said something like "Because I pulled YOU over!" He then asked me (just a passenger) to get out of the car. I am Mexican, Indian, German Irish, and a few other things but somewhat dark complected with long black hair (now gray lol). And this was broad daylight around 3-4 PM.
I said "why?" He slouched down and got in my face and said "You get out of the car or I'll take care of you right here and now!" I'll never forget that and remember his EXACT words to this day. And that was almost 40 years ago. Thank you for all you do!

This is not someone you want on the force. It doesn't matter what the kid was verbally saying, he didn't physically do anything. Just like someone could yell at you, you can't just start throwing punches. Also, the kid only started saying bring it on AFTER the cop is already getting in his face egging him on. This rests almost completely on the officer and if he just stayed calm and did his job none of this would have happened. But I also live in a rural area in AL. My best friend who lives in a bigger city had to call the law a couple of times because of her daughter and she was also given help and even encouragement from the officers that responded. Having said that, I’ve had one experience with law enforcement that was awful. So I get it… but not all cops act like power hungry children like this one. The bad ones NEED to be weeded out ASAP! Saw this kind of behavior almost weekly in group homes for youth in toronto. Was before they wore cameras and we weren't allowed to have them there. Cops would physically assault the kids and the staff didnt say a word.
A kid was picked up by his collar and thrown at a tree by an officer after being screamed at for not putting out his cigarette and going inside when he told them to.
Had a cop actually threaten to beat me before. Was apologetic when I asked for his info. Called and made a report and never heard back about it.
Used to sit by the road and flip off the cops. Got a lot of reactions but never got in trouble. One time a cop got out of his car and got in the smallest kids face. Was treating him but left a few seconds after. More crooked cops out there than you think

I used to be a shitty drugged up skater kid in south Texas in the early 2000's. Got arrested, ran my mouth, cop told me "We can scrap it out, I'll let you walk free since you think you are so tough". I agreed and promptly got knocked the fuck out, ironically we both walked away happy that day.

Hey man I get that but I've seen cops say this and it's all good to their word if they win, but if the cop takes a ass kicking that's out the window. Now granted the one I know of was in a county jail but regardless..... The kids mouth needed handled but I don't know if a cop should be the one doing that, what does it solve now except open up all this officers past cases to appeal's and complaints which how would a loose cannon be used or trusted after this... I'm not saying either way I'm just saying it's caused way more trouble then that 15 seconds of joy was worth.

Check out the video first. The whole vid. It was a fair fight. A good fight. Mutual respect after. As far as I know, there is no other police who are willing to do what this officer did. Mano y Mano. Others bait citizens into fighting then slap charges. I respect this officer. Watch the whole vid from start to finish.

@@MrBoDiggety I hear you, Bo. And I must admit: I am conflicted about the outcome. This kid was the instigator, and deserved to have his ass handed to him, but he's a kid, and the cop is a Law Enforcement Officer! I don't philosophically have a problem with how the cop acted, but🤷‍♂️ dude should've known better.

“Straight up officer murder”?? How many have you seen? I’ve *maybe* seen like 4 or 5, perhaps. Just because you didn’t understand it, or it seemed wrong, doesn’t make it “straight up officer murder”.
