I too ride by this rule. Place yourself where other drivers can see you. Anticipate what may happen, even if it doesn't happen. My next bike, I want the Rebel 1000
I mean it's illegal to split the lanes but in a lot of accidents bikers are hit from behind I always split ... my safety is more inportant to me then some idiot not seeing me ..
