  • Should you buy a Hydrogen car? Can you? Hydrogen cars had so much hype, but new hydrogen cars are rare now. Electric cars seem to beat them in many categories - but why did they fail? And why are we still talking about the Hydrogen Economy, despite its demise in the auto industry?
We'll explore the science and background of Hydrogen Fuel cells - but mainly we'll cover the technology's biggest flaws.
    Thanks for watching!

I'm shocked you don't have way more subs because your videos are really interesting and the production value is as good as the big channels with similar content.

The problem with electric vehicles is it still takes burning carbon based fuels to produce the electricity.

with rapidly improving battery technology, hydrogen fuel would be the BETA(vs VHS) of fuel tech! hydrogen fuel tech simply will never take off.

See that arrow from Spain to Scotland? That's nuts. Scotland may not have so much solar, but we have wind, wave and tidal power coming out of our ears. Maybe Spain would like some?

What about LPI cars produced in South Korea? They are cheap, practical (easy fill, 500km/tank, same as gasolina car work), very economical 6$/ 100 km mix drive) and are very reliable. Seems like English youtube doesn', t know about them

I'm seeing the real issue with hydrogen is that there isn't nearly as much research and development into it. Electricity was literally here 10, maybe 15 years ago. Tesla made charging networks and made electric cars more palatable. And we all know electricity is not green energy(at least not yet)
