North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has presented veteran news anchor Ri Chun-hee with a new Pyongyang riverside home, state media reported on April 14, 2022. The apartment complex was completed just before the 110th birthday of Kim Il-sung, North Korea’s late founding ruler. As a television anchor, Ri has delivered some of North Korea’s biggest news over the past 50 years, including the death of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, the current leader’s grandfather and father, respectively.

I'm amused to discover that the Internet community is happy about this woman getting an appartnent. I've been following northkorean stuff for a while and I've seen her working really hard and passionately. Probably one of the most recognized faces of North Korea around the world. I'm very happy for her.

I once read about this woman. She is called the "Pink Lady" because of her fondness for the traditional pink-colored Korean dress she wears on tv. But she has switched it for black on a few occasions, like when she reported the news of the death of the former leader. Whichever, it's wonderful to see positive news coming out of North Korea.

Kim Jong Un likes cats as well as dogs. He has a wonderful rapport with all animals really. They can instinctively feel that he is gentle and well intentioned.

She's even covered Kim's first time playing golf getting an astonishing 18 holes in one. Other notable stories include Kim floating up to the peak of a mountain, and his expert fighter pilot skills as being the best in the world.
I watched kim playing golf stream for the first time on twitch, I think shroud hosted his stream as well. Chat was wild by the 18th hole, although we only got to like 3% of his donation goal for more nuclear weapons. All in all i would say it was pretty pog

news anchor spells the correct pronounciation of a language , dramas are like drama , they insert glamour in the language also ...
@@akashpaul4143 But even within South Korea they have different regional accents and even dialects such as in Jeju and Busan which is not mutually intelligible by native speakers of the standard South Korean language. Also news anchors often talks in a formal and even rounded tone which is not the norm.
