@@kidneyblogs yes you are correct. No doubt USA has the most advanced health care system but it is totally commercial. Doctors have no time to interact with patients to teach them the healthy lifestyle other than medications. Simply diagnosis and medicine prescription that's it.
Food is neglected, later on regreted. So change Paya, Biryani to simple soup n salad, much cheaper. Cauliflower, Cabbage, Lentils soup are easy to cook, taste better, cost reducing. Walk is the key, take out half an hour for it, feel better, make friends.
I had triple bypass 10 months ago. When blockage was diagnosed I had no symptoms. On a regular 6 six month checkup my cholesterol and calcium score was up. GP suggested to visit Cardiologist who after discussions sent for further tests which found blockages and then Angiography confirmed that and recommended triple bypass. I m about 70, whole my life have healthy and active lifestyle, healthy eating, regular walks, no smoking or drinking etc, seven months after my surgery my EGFR dropped to 59 from. 79. It was 59 on second blood test and recently back to 79, my other indicators in blood and urine were ok other than creatinine. I was listening to your blogs and that hep alot in terms of food. After bypass I attended Rehab and being following healthy life style. I strictly follow 10000 steps everyday. Intend to have an online appointment with you one day.
