New sub! This is hilarious, similar to Coffeezilla and Jani vids. Abdaal at least admits you can find this free on YT, etc. Just watched a 'starter story' episode with a guy charging $10K/mo for 6 finished videos! (you do get your own video editor!) That's not even his lowest tier. "Productized" services (ie: package deals w/a monthly bill).
lmao isn't that reciprocity? They help you and you help them,..pretty sure this isn't charity works cause business and partnership was always been like that from the start. Unless you're bootstrapping your own business.
It's literarily what they do!! pls don't get me started on how "thumbnail designers" also claim credit for someones video success on already successful channels but stay quiet when their work doesn't bring results on the majority of their clients. its such a hustle and its sad because lots of people waste their hard earned money on these idiots
@@ReannaLaranna That's really funny that you bring that up because I also offer thumbnail design services. But yeah as is with all services and courses offered, people should give their customers practical expectations and not sell people on unrealistic hype
Honestly you pin pointed the exact reason why I cant find anything to watch on yt anymore lately. Every video is in the “blow up” format, trying to sell me something. Feels like no one makes videos anymore for the sake of sharing their passion and fun. Im tired. Great video!
thats exactly how I feel about RUclips theres been so much informational and a lack of entertaining but when you do find those hidden gems its like gold!! (exactly why im pursuing art on here)
Yup. You think they are giving you genuine advice, and then they say "which is why they are the sponsor of this video" and "use my affiliate link." RUclips is a money funnel for these people. They aren't actually looking to help.
In this day and age, it is not about being a scammer or not. It is about whether or not to be open about being a scammer. Honestly, 99% of all the advice such courses provide is available for free on the internet. I would say that these courses are just chill pills you take to "assure" you that success is around the corner. However, in reality, whether or not your channel blows up solely depends on your dedication and luck. There is no secret sauce.
also golden age of opportunities brothers....focus focus...its about hitting that 1 mentor out of 100 mentors trying and getting scammed....numbers are changing
It’s not rocket science to be productive, us regular people do it everyday. Mail carriers, trash collectors, nurses, fast food workers they’re all productive members of society just by doing their jobs! The ending of this video was so bomb 😂👏🏽 I’ve got to subscribe now
Damn I wish I saw this pop up 8 months ago right before I got swept up by the algorithm lmfao. I was on a completely different side of RUclips in 2022 and I switched sides to see what it was like and started doing self improvement, taking my passion, career, work, self care, and all of that stuff super seriously, but then I started getting recommended all kinds of business advice, digital money making methods, etc, and I eventually found myself in a frantic motivated state of mind and bought into two courses. Those courses took up months of my life with very little return. Community is what people need. Money is a byproduct of being a part of a healthy community. I haven’t watched your video yet, but I feel very grateful that the algorithm has finally started to recognize my attempts to escape and sourced me a video that will probably radically change my perspective and free me. Thank you.
Brother if you ever feel like the algo is pushing you down the rabbit hole, just delete your RUclips watch history to clear it all out. It's very freeing to remove all this brainrot from your front page
completely relate, it's actually insane realising how much influence the algorithm has on us AND how normalised it is for people to become successful literally off scamming??!!
As someone who paid hundreds for a RUclipsr "Course " I learned this the hard way. " When there's a gold rush, sell pickaxes and shovels " There is no such thing as an easy way. You can get lucky but reliance on luck is a fool's game. Your time is an investment, put it into a skill you can make money with and get really good at it. You will never have to worry about money if you can do this. Don't take the bait.
This was an eye-opening watch because I'm subscribed to Ali Abdaal, and for a minute, I was all for it, but then it just became overwhelming and exhausting. I haven't watched his videos in over 2 years
I haven’t watched his content since he left medicine. I was interested in his videos bcs I was a medico myself, but nowadays I don’t get what he needs to be “productive” for.
I think the thing that makes these programs so enticing is that they sell directly to a very primal human desire to be free, and they offer the way to acheive that freedom in the most 'guaranteed' way. I find these extremely attractive, but as you pointed out, these people don't care about me or my growth, they care about me and their growth. It's a really smart scheme. I must say though, a lot of their information can be extremely helpful, even to the literate, when the information they provide happens to be conveniently put in front of you at just the right time to recieve it actively. By the way. I find your editing style really enagaging. Thanks for the video
If they actually care about helping people, their courses should not be more than $20. Since they are already making money through RUclips or digital products, but courses that are $40 +, definitely shows that it's their 1st or 2nd source of income
Fuckin perfect. RUclips is swarming with these gurus, I'm sick of it. Truth be told, I often have a weird hunch when watching some of these people speak. You can't put your finger on it, but you feel that you can't trust their face. Thanks for confirming that intuitive knowing. Loved the video.
I had this exact feeling with Think media. Always listen to your gut because it knows best. Plus the more I watched his videos, the more I realised he hadn’t a clue on what he’s talking about
It's def a bummer about think media. I did find some value in some of their reviews and how to's, but lately the whole IRONCLAD LAWS OF CREATION content is definitely offputting. @@zelorig8887
Especially Tate, Sneako and Musa, they look so untrustworthy without even knowing anything about them. But Think Media actually provides some good value sometimes
True! Though main issue is the OVERPRICING of the courses with low quality/bad/outdated/disorganized info that's misinformation/info thay they copy pasted from other people. and it's not fraud if they sell courses just because that info is available on google as long as it doesn't include any other issues i previously mentioned. • or most of the on or offline books/formal education would be considered a fraud (which a lot of it is but a lot isn't). • What courses, education system, books provide is what youtubes short videos or trendwise random videos/blog format can't always do. I.e proper organization with step by step catalogue in one place and packaging + with a isolated non-distractive environment that's necessary to focus and learn unlike SNS/browsers etc. • and save users time & effort by not having to compile the authors every blog or video while battling online distraction, and then summarize it to be able to learn. • I heard in a book/many people say that almost all the advice out there has already being given in one or other way even if you can't find it on Google,it might be in some other books Google can't access. but we buy certain books because the way it's explained is different. • Two books of same class, topics, info etc could be explained & understood in a completely different way & speak to different types of Audiences. Eg.different people might want info from a spiritual/medical/scientific/personal experience/expert/experience+ expert perspectives. Some might want it in technical language, some may want it simplistic/fun/pictorial/visual/audible/video wise/textual/shorter/detailed/multi-formatted and so on. Repackaging info on their social media/blog/RUclips into a course/book is a grey area due to all that though. if a book had at all the content that they already have + something's that were new and if possible it was told in a better way than the channel (either or both things), it's reasonably priced According to country rates, isn't outdated/low-quality/bad/misinformation/copyright infringing. Then it wouldn't necessarily be a fraud. But I'm pretty sure 80-90% of people probably don't do this.
"Almost every course these entrepreneurs sell eventually guides you to follow this method: grow on social media, then promote your business to loyal clients." this is part of a script I'm working at you nailed it at this video . I came to this conclusion simply by noticing all these creators spent so much time on social media despite the fact they are rich it turns out they are rich because of their presence on social media they are the brand .
I do think some people are addicted to squeeze everything out of things. So they can be rich outside of social media but they can’t help but boast online and make a million each year doing that on top of things.
You realize selling information is digital gold now 5 months since this comment you have to be on it or get left behind it’s seriously better than onlyfans for women for men or women to do
They have entire teams who make scripts for them and who edit the videos, etc. So actually there is no that big effort when your channel is big. You need to learn the speech and do it in front of professional video makers. Then the team does the whole job for you.
I hardly ever leave comments or likes on videos, but I strongly feel that this guy deserves more attention. Great job on your effort, and sending lots of love your way for wasting so much of your money on on these baseless courses, and exposing these scammers.
Wow… this is the first video in a veeeeeeeery very very long time, I actually *consciously* watched without skipping ahead or speeding up. Like actually sitting down and watching it , beginning to end and not just letting it run while I do the dishes or some other chores. Thanks for the great information! Really cool and eye opening video
Out of all these guys, Ali always seemed to be the "nicest". He doesn't promote this stupid "grinder mindset" that "influencers" such as Andrew Tate and Sneako promote, and yet I always got this weird vibe from him that I just couldn't put my finger on. As time went by I noticed that he does everything "productively" and that was all I needed to never want to see any of his videos ever again. He promotes this toxic mindset that WILL overwhelm people and lead them to burnout and other mental issues. Not everything has to be productive. There is NO SUCH THING as cooking productively, showering productively, sleeping productively etc. and his videos serve the only purpose of making regular folks feel bad about themselves for not being 24h productive. My advice is: if you want to be ahead of people in life these days, take the normal path of being a regular human being because in a few years these folks will be absolutely burnt out and depressed (ofc it's not their fault, it's these youtubers fault). You can be a productive human being and still make time to have fun, cook normally, sleep well and everything else, and I'll tell you something here: being unproductive sometimes IS HEALTHY and PRODUCTIVE AT THE SAME TIME. DON'T EVER listen to this type of fellas, they couldn't give less fucks about you and your well being. You will always find better content on books and other types of media apart from RUclips and social media in general. and remember: the greatest minds in human history never used Notion
What in the hell - I think this has got to be the most underviewed video I've ever seen. Amazing production quality, great content, with an absolutely awesome twist at the end.
note to self: instead of trying to buy courses, instead of trying to sell courses, instead of making courses about selling courses, make courses about selling courses about selling courses
Focus on actually helping people in their journey and you won’t sell courses, you will create a community around a shared problem to solve that will require multiple moving parts.
Ive joined the welsh course (he was barely active on the discord), i was in hustlers university where the instructors arent even good at teaching and try keeping you in by calling you a quitter if you want to leave, and many others. I’ve learned that all the knowledge we need is out there in books and free content on the internet. Its about time I stopped getting played 💀
You're 100% right I don't get it when people tell me that they bought some youtuber's course when they could just borrow a book from a library for free and could potentially change their lives
I'd hazard a guess that books are better because it costs time and money to create a book and the information has to be somewhat correct for legal reasons. People who only use online methods such as viral videos to sell "courses" are usually just copy and paste content providers.
I always find it so sad when scammers become abusive as a sales tactic, because that means it must work on a lot of people. Which means there are so many broken and damaged people who are so desperate for validation that they allow themselves to be talked into something they don’t want to do simply to stop abusive words temporarily, and then continue to give money to the abuser.
This is similar to the life coaching thing. I know someone who became a life coach. Many of their clients...were other coaches. They got coaching for their coaching business. They (and other coaches) would coach people to follow their passions and not be tied down to a 9-5 - and often that "passion" was to quit their job and become some kind of coach. It's like an ouroboros of coaches.
I was just talking abt this, as a small artist on Instagram, I've applied literally every "advice" from those "read caption" reels, & still, not famous and definitely not rich, I noticed that they always write the same vague advice & target small art accounts, but they always say " determine your target audience's problems and provide solutions", sir, I make art, my target audience is people who enjoy sparkly eyes, what problems would those be 💀
very good Point there is actually a difference Content - Creator as a Business (aka Solving Problems) and Creator as an Act of Selfexpression. i guess your Take should be "be so good they cant ignore you"🙃
yeah for an art channel you have to go in with the "be so good they cant ignore you" its not like other RUclips videos where's educational its more on the entertainment and thats what you should be focusing on
Most of these guys started selling courses after they have built and audience. once you get that going that's how you make insane amount of money especially if the audience sees you as a role model you just keep milking them and sell them the illusion and dreams. few will make it but the majority won't.
@@tmblacwell Van Gogh got ignored until he’s dead for a very long time. Create for the sake of creating is very important, because creating for monetization has too much environmental variable we can’t control
aye, bro.... creator to creator, the decision not to use Andrew Tate's name in the title is BOLD. It shows integrity. It shows you are not just here for the money (which will undoubtedly come). You're here to tell the stories; the way you want to tell them, this is your creative outlet. I can respect the hustle, my guy! Keep grinding and the rest will fall into place.
I really appreciate your honesty bro . In a world that's fed up with lies , you ttaking the time and efforts to speaks the truth while not gaining much in return is worth respect and admiration . God bless ya bro
As a new father trying to care of my family and simultaneously pursue my passion.. thank you for making this. I contemplated spending the money on Ali’s course but I couldn’t justify spending the money when it would go a lot longer for my family. So thank you for this!

Thanks for creating this and sharing it with us! I needed to know this. How random it is that just today, I thought about what has brought the most value to me regarding knowledge: not courses, but books. Getting into the habit of reading for 1 hour each morning to reading 3 hours today, and then taking notes in Google Docs for four to five hours about the book I had read previously is the best use of my time that I can think of. I wrote this note after finishing "the work day": "Take courses to learn technical skills, and read books if you want to change your mindset, life, and habits."
I would upvote this 1000 times. I was listening to an old Brian Tracey tape on RUclips recently and he was talking about the importance of reading and the difference even an hour a day of quality reading makes to your life. Such an incredible difference between the courses that people like Brian created that genuinely changed lives for the better, compared to those today who are only interested in lining their pockets.
As someone who owns a small business, I can say in my honest opinion, getting legal and organized is probably one of the best things to do. Get a product>make a couple sales using a strategy to make sure it works without surpassing the legal income threshold> consult an accountant and get legal (also in the US, sole proprietorship is free and fairly straightforward to establish).
RUclips has been pushing thia video to me for about a month. After watching your Yify video I've started binge watching your content. You're much more authentic than most commentary channels out there and the mighty algorithm seems to be bestowing some favour upon you.
Well done man deep diving into the hidden aspects of each course. Very well-compiled video that I wish more of the RUclips user base can hopefully watch and learn some things
Respect man. To be honest most people don’t have a good judgment, when they see the numbers, straight away they believe it. You find some course priced at $7 rather than $1k-$4k, no moral no empathy for people who wanna make it out there. And Thanks for sharing the link 😂.
@@TyFrom99 Unfortunately, this won't help anyone. I worked in dropshipping when it was profitable from 2012 to 2016 and personally met all these dropshipping gurus. Almost all of them stopped running their own stores and started selling courses. Not like 1 or 2, like every single one of them. They're all fake. And then people like Sneako, Andrew Tate or Ali Abdaal come out who don't even promise to make you money and charge similar amounts just for "information". It's crazy people pay money for this stuff, cult is the perfect word for it. Logic has gone out the window its just about god worship.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 956 subs and > 800 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
OMG. I almost fell on the floor with your review of the business "Now I would still recommend this course to anybody looking to get into business that is also illiterate..." Epic comment and great review.
Really felt in scripting, editing and content like a viral video produced by a well known youtube. You're on the right path. Maybe this one won't be the one to launch you but it will surely get discovered and fully appreciated after that happens. Keep it up
Bro, props on this, honestly! I've seen a lot of people call these guys out but none that bothered to go to the depths that you did, firstly experiencing their "product" before systematically dismantling it, and in essence, them. Loved it, loved your work, and will be subscribing for more. Keep it up!
I’ve been thinking this lately, so many scams everywhere you turn and the channels have no other content but promise to make you a millionaire. Thank you for doing this and calling them out ❤
You really don’t need to worry too much about changing subjects and making different kinds of videos. I have loved every subject so far, and I know with your taste you will keep it good and weird. Loving your work
Wow fantastic video, I got trapped by the promises these courses dangled when I was having a rough financial time! Thank you for shedding light on their “secrets for success”
Why is this the best thing I have ever seen! I was contemplating on making a photography course. But I know the direction I will be going with it now. It will be free to watch on RUclips ✨

One of those guys from the thumbnail invited me to London and made it sound like it was a job interview, I got a 7 hour bus to London and stayed in a hostel just to get a coffee with the dude , go for a walk, meet his brother and then he told me he'd add me to the staff discord and he just never called back or emailed. I'm pretty sure he just wanted me to meet him and buy his course from the back of it. I'm glad it happened though it made me realize what kind of people sell these courses.
dude wtf? a video popped up on my tv and I watched like 2 after that, they’re so good; I expected like couple hundred thousand subscribers? millions maybe? I saw that a video had 30k views in months and I was in disbelief… ain’t no way bro…. you def deserve wayyy more success, glad I’m here before your takeover… you got this brother keep it going
Listen, the RUclips gurus still give good advice. This isn’t my main account, but their advice on RUclips specifically has helped me get a greater understanding of the RUclips algorithm, how to better target my strengths, and to actually analyze popular videos in my niche and figure out what makes them popular and implement that in my content. I’m not in the slightest bit interested in getting their courses, but they do give decent advice.
I think channel makers has actual good advices, i don't know if he sells a course or not but he gives wayyy better advice for making RUclips videos than film booth or think media and those two i recognised their shallow content before i knew they were selling courses.
@@dna8269 honestly, i don't know. I've distanced myself long ago from this topic, so the last video i watched from them was like 2.5 years ago. Thanks for confirming my suspicions, people need to view this I will share, i always thought in most cases that is people are actually successful with an online business, you wouldn't have time or incentive to share it as a teacher
Badass video from a badass creator. I’ve been wanting to start my channel for quite some time, been holding out to achieve the quality of video I want to issue out. I’ve seen all these creators, watched hours of their ‘content’ and came to the EXACT SAME conclusion as you. Thought no one would say it. But you said it and said it loud. Good shit
Such an amazing video. I love the bit of sass in your presentation style, but I'm more impressed by the quality of your editing and the depth of your research. I can't even imagine how much time and effort were used behind the scenes of this 20 min video. I'm quite glad to have subscribed to your channel before it blows up, which is gonna be soon. Keep up the great work mate!
This is a great video, and really hits close to home. I've recently become interested in YouTubing, and through enrolling in a couple of film courses (which i honestly found value in-totally not hating) discovered the Matrix-ish world of, as you put it, 'selling shovels' on YT. It's honestly fascinating. I have even contemplated course creation myself, although for me it would represent a pivot from being an. active practitioner of my craft to a (hopefully) useful resource for people who might want to learn about the industry. I think that some of the marketing tools/tactics (upselling, sales funnels) aren't inherently evil as long as what you're selling actually delivers something of measurable value (i.e. I took a filmmaking course for X dollars. I learned a great deal about things i could start doing immediately to up my skills. Happy customer.). But I guess i shouldn't be surprised by the sheer numbers of predatory scammers who exist in this space. Or am I being too naive? Anyway- thank you for posting this- great stuff- eager to see what you come up with next!
The secret to RUclips is making great videos that people want to watch. Do your best, keep at it, work hard, study hard, keep improving and you’ll make it. It isn’t easy but why would it be? It’s a career path. You have to work for what you earn.
Man, that ending was the coolest Middle finger i have ever seen. Edit: I checked the website and got the most painful rick roll ever. Thank you for your service and a great video.
The one thing I truly despise with every bone in my body about this hustle/growth subculture the internet has is how dishonest it all can be very quickly. People need to understand that a creator's job is to create to the best of their ability, _by any means necessary_ too. If psychological tricks are used as early as thumbnails and titles, then it is in your best interest to be sceptical. I'd one day like to open a completely free community basically having everyone help everyone out achieve whatever they want. I've noticed that as long as the community is strong, you can get anywhere (and some Google searching skills). The most help you can get out of what you are pursuing literally comes out of just talking to people who are in the same position as you (MrBeast's story is similar!).
Well, you might as well stay off of RUclips then. Once Google capitalized on RUclips, it became a marketing platform. Regular viewers don't understand this. All social media platforms are marketing platforms, and without marketing, they wouldn't thrive. So, while you and others may be agitated that the thumbnails and titles are designed to psychologically reel you in, in reality, this platform has evolved for that purpose. Of course, people could also just stop getting on social media, but that will never happen. So, you have no choice but to just accept it for what it is.
amazing video bro, i started buying courses after hearing alex hormonzi say to invest in education more. out of all the ones i bought literally 1 was worth it, and also its normally the network that is more worth the actual course itself.
Well, structured video! nice and on point! I like how you did assess them objectively. Thank you for making a video of this quality. This is especially needed for people who are on beginner status or started and don't know how to continue and those creators come along and sell the course. I follow most of the creators that you mentioned. I need to be honest- yes they try to sell the courses and that is the whole point. Some of them say this transparently. The issue is that some of the courses are extremely expensive versus what you get out of it. But some are valid and fair because, at the end of the day, you spend that money on well-structured information rather than scattered around. The most important part is the "willingness to pay " amount for that structured information. I don't like people just cursing those creators. Believe me, most of you, if you had a chance to be in their place you would be doing the same. do not show here" fake honesty". We need to accept that RUclips or any other platforms are much better than 100k colleges and universities. There are people who can learn from scattered information here and there, but some are ready to pay for structured information and maybe a more personalized course. The problem is overselling, overdoing, overprice... and of course, greediness that comes with it. I'm also working on a very niche course that I believe will add value and is not out there or maybe you can find it in ChatGPT or anywhere else. But the price will define if that value is what you are after or not. Everyone in the creator economy is after "attention" even the @Tyfrom99 . Everyone has their own niche. Tyfrom99' s niche is exposing the overpriced people plus fake gurus for exchange your "attention" that will make him also living. At the end of the day if you are posting here video of this quality it is not "I'm here to save you humanity". So let's be fair.
I'm so glad ThinkMedia, of all things, was called out in this. It was cathartic for me since I've recognized certain things about them, but nobody calls them out, so a part of me started wondering if it was a me thing. Especially since Sean likes to get "salty" with those who criticize him and blame any failure on people for not working hard or smart enough.
Just to give a counterpoint for PTYA by Ali as an "ex-alumni". When this course was originally started it was a 6 week cohort program. So 3-4 times a year for 6 weeks a group of like 400 people, with like 10+ live events every week (several hosted by Ali and many organised either by the community itself or the teaching assistants.) The most valuable thing in the course came from finding a community of other people as well as having weekly video assignments that gets feedback from Ali or the TA's. Basically you got the opportunity to be fully submerged in the idea of posting 1 video a week for 6 weeks where everyone "around" you had the same mindset, and its not something you can easily replicate in other ways. Like Ali says himself in your video the course can't teach you anything you can't just learn from google. But the cohort and live events + feedback part was easily worth it for anyone who could afford it. It's a bit sad that it no longer is co-hort based but Ali has basically said he no longer enjoys running the courses and doesn't want to be trading money for doing things he doesn't enjoy which I can respect 🤗
Because the millions kept rolling in... if he or anybody else in that position had nothing, would very likely love to run these type of courses again. Also, as people age and grow, priorities and liking indeed change. It's a privileges and desired position to be in to decide what one wants to work in and what not.
If it was making money and he stopped either to do with moral reasonings or towards the end financially it wasn't worth it. Considering how much money he was making, it's probably the latter. Eventually the word probably got out, his students weren't becoming cash cows!
@@norocketsciencebuild5371 So the only possible reasons he would stop doing it is 1) Moral reasons 2) Not financially worth it ? I mean his stated reason is different, which makes perfect sense to me, is that he could keep doing it and make more money, but it would mean trading his time doing something he doesn't enjoy as much anymore, for money which he doesn't need or use.
if he made any money at the end he would still like it lmao. Imagine if you had a business which sells like 2k a person you would not drop it ever.@@EarlyOwl
I also took the original course and as someone who could afford it really enjoyed it. It’s similar to being in actual university with feedback and support etc. You can argue all university info is also freely available. I don’t like the new set up and I’ve voiced that, but Ali’s free to do as he chooses he’s not obligated to do anything. I’ve also taken many terrible courses from the likes of tai Lopez and sam ovens.
I remember in early 2010s there was this term - shiny object syndrome where you would get hooked on one course and then another … and another … usually made by the same “creator” … I’m lucky I no longer have this disease xD love you channel!
Wow!!! The value of what you have just shared with the world is literally priceless! As literal newbie in the RUclips industry, I've looked up to these people as sources of inspiration, no wonder as a Tarot reader my guides and my cards kept telling me to look behind the veils of glamour when I asked questions about them. Thank you so much for educating us. May you receive more blessings from the Universe because of what you do for us. 🙏I salute the Divine in You.
Hat off to you for spending time and money to prove all the bs gurus and courses even though you already thought they were. And the editing is awesome.
I started realizing I was consuming too much content on how to grow my RUclips channel and EVERYONE was saying and spitting out the same thing. The VERY thing they told me NOT to do is EXACTLY what got my channel to blow up… odd huh 🤔 then I realized the channels are just the same videos over and over with different thumbnails and title but same info. Watch every RUclips page that “teaches you how to grow on RUclips” half of them don’t even follow what they are even saying! Your regurgitation everything someone else is saying and charge a course for it! Hell no!!! Even if my way isn’t the most conventional way, I still want to give that knowledge out there for FREE!
It's interesting to hear comments like this. Why does quality automatically equal "they should have a big sub count". The video is good regardless. Playing Devils advocate. How do you think the creator feels? "I should have more subs because I make quality videos" Now this creator might feel depressed because he's tying sub count with a good video. The focus should always be great storytelling and videos first. Sub counts don't matter if the creator is making the stuff they want to create.
Thank you for your website. I watched all the courses in 3.5 speed and learn so much. They defo didn't "let me down". 😁 Jokes aside I kind of thought to myself if you did that will be brilliant and that's why I went to check it out. Great video, BTW.
when i clicked on this I thought this was gonna be another one of the videos that you were talking about. But this video single-handedly woke me up from that mundane cycle of watching the same youtube videos a about making youtube videos and recycling hand me down and often outdated information.. So thank you for that man. Talk about a wake up call😤 Also I have got to commend your bravery at the end of this video! I’m definitely subscribing & I wish you the best of luck on your RUclips journey 🤝🏾
I can't be bothered with commenting these days but thanks to your video I now understand why. Productivity videos feel the same regardless of the RUclipsr. I'm a fan of Ali but I realized this week I only admire his commitment to running a business. I don't want to have anything similar to his life. Being invisible and living a life disconnected from all this chaos is something I'm learning to cherish. Thank you for this video.

Hope you enjoy.

Website doesn't exit
When you inevitably get big, all these creators can add you to their portfolio and claim their course made your channel successful
This one is classic.
Wow! nearly 600 likes. It is both funny, and probably true!
lmao isn't that reciprocity?

For real 😂😂
In this day and age, it is not about being a scammer or not. It is about whether or not to be open about being a scammer. Honestly, 99% of all the advice such courses provide is available for free on the internet. I would say that these courses are just chill pills you take to "assure" you that success is around the corner. Thank you.

Never trust someone who has a conflict of interest (I.e. he makes money if you listen to him)
This was an eye-opening watch because I'm subscribed to Ali Abdaal, and for a minute, I was all for it, but then it just became overwhelming and exhausting. I haven't watched his videos in over 2 years
Good!

@@rabiulyt21224fr 💀
Right
"Almost every course these entrepreneurs sell eventually guides you to follow this method: grow on social media, then promote your business to loyal clients." this is part of a script I'm working at you nailed it at this video .

You will always find better content on books and other types of media apart from RUclips and social media in general.
and remember: the greatest minds in human history never used Notion

note to self: instead of trying to buy courses, instead of trying to sell courses, instead of making courses about selling courses, make courses about selling courses about selling courses
Focus on actually helping people in their journey and you won’t sell courses, you will create a community around a shared problem to solve that will require multiple moving parts.

I absolutely loved the outro. "PLEASE CONTACT MY LAWYER 😆!"
Kudos to you man, this is sick!!
The secret to RUclips is making great videos that people want to watch. Do your best, keep at it, work hard, study hard, keep improving and you’ll make it. It isn’t easy but why would it be? It’s a career path. You have to work for what you earn.
You do YTA?
The key to success as a creator is to get attention and turn those attention into revenue.
Yes, but you must get CONSISTENT attention😢
It was so kind of you to upload those courses for free. Thanks man.
There is no course for free uploaded
you people are so lazy it's staggering
Man, that ending was the coolest Middle finger i have ever seen.
Edit: I checked the website and got the most painful rick roll ever. Thank you for your service and a great video.
Bro! I love you, Man! This video is so fire, apt, and the editing is twice as dope. And your humour, great job bro!
Glad to see YT is pushing this video more after 3 months!!! Absolute gem!!
The introduction alone got my subscription. You’re amazing and going places, brother.
I appreciate that!
@@TyFrom99yoooo this was well made the ending was awesome 😂
Bro. This video was brilliant 👏
This is one of the best/wittiest RUclips videos I’ve ever watched.
amazing video bro, i started buying courses after hearing alex hormonzi say to invest in education more. out of all the ones i bought literally 1 was worth it, and also its normally the network that is more worth the actual course itself.
which one did you buy?
Took the words out of my mouth! Thank you
Well said
the people who sell the shovels during the gold rush were the ones who got rich, the same is still true today
These people took advantage of me as a struggling adult with undiagnosed ADHD. Thank you for inspiring me with your video. Take care.✌
@@norocketsciencebuild5371
So the only possible reasons he would stop doing it is
1) Moral reasons
2) Not financially worth it
?
It's mad how good these are for your sub count. Keep it up mate - you'll get there!
It's interesting to hear comments like this. Why does quality automatically equal "they should have a big sub count". The video is good regardless.
Playing Devils advocate. How do you think the creator feels? "I should have more subs because I make quality videos"
Now this creator might feel depressed because he's tying sub count with a good video.
The focus should always be great storytelling and videos first. Sub counts don't matter if the creator is making the stuff they want to create.
That outro had me laughing so hard 😂
Amazing video, time to create some courses
19:38 iconic
🤣 jake must be proud of you.
Am glad i got to see this sooner than later. Thank you man great effort.💪🏼
Now THAT's is the best video ending I've seen in a long time! :)
And the video sums up really well what I've been telling people for while.
Thank you for your website. I watched all the courses in 3.5 speed and learn so much. They defo didn't "let me down". 😁
Jokes aside I kind of thought to myself if you did that will be brilliant and that's why I went to check it out. Great video, BTW.
Nah that ending was tuff 😭🔥
when i clicked on this I thought this was gonna be another one of the videos that you were talking about.
Thanks for checking it out man, also congrats on getting the Kendrick vid reupped
@@TyFrom99 ay man i appreciate that! thanks for checking that out 🔥
Thanks a lot for exposing these so-called "gurus" and for sitting through all those hours of BS. You earned a sub!!
The end was so badass
Excellent video man, severely underrated. Props to you for sitting through all those hours of courses!
The “please contact my lawyer” killed me 😂 keep up with the good content!
This has to be the most important video on RUclips before anyone starts with any paid courses.
