My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

I did my first bass pro overnight in Mississippi last week. I felt safe, but it was way too much light. I’ll do it again, woke up with a sams wholesale next door, filled up with gas. I didn’t go inside either so saved myself some money. I did ask permission to dry camp.
This is sick week, drag & drive event around Florida . Around Tampa / Bradenton Bridge , there is an old bridge road. For a few dollars, fish all night /sleep . On the southbound side
A Good Friend of Mine's Parents used to have a Boat and they pulled it with a 1977 Monte Carlo. I think it had a Mercury Motor in the Boat, but they had a sign that said A Boat is a Wood lined Hole to pour Your money into.

Stay away from LL Bean if you come to Maine! Best outdoor store evah! That was a loon. We have a ton in Maine. They sound wonderfully eerie when you’re out camping in the woods.
I just spent my first night at a Cracker Barrel. Not bad.

At a propane exchange, they only give you 4 gallons.

The Bass Pro in San Antonio is 2 stories and the aquarium goes all the way up with the elevator. Has a stream too and a firing range for kids. FYI Dogs are welcome at Bass Pro (at least the one in San Antonio).

Back in the day man was going in woods with knife, now corporations selling you all “necessities” including almost tree hundred dollars sunglasses that will make you see world of consumption in pink light.
That's pretty cool, never been inside a Bass Pro!! But does make me want to check on some camping things!!
Also, Tractor Supply will refill your propane bottles, just go inside and tell them and meet them on the side!! That's what I do! Have a large Grill, and a 2 burner stove too, and if that isn't enough, got a big & table top charcoal grills to!! And top it all off, have a burn pit to sit around out in the yard!! A little over board yes, but for a few yrs, my house had 11 people living here, and now down to just us 2! But we enjoy our pop up camper and fishing so still have use for everything!!
The Outdoor World here in Daphne AL, right off I-10, has cooking gadgets and allows overnight parking 😊

Be cautious leaving rv unattended in Fla. Many more homeless & crime. RVs get stolen & broken into . Use curb side pick up @ walmart & restaurants .
Tourist attractions have the most crime. Pick up a rod and reel . You can park at most piers & beaches to fish / sleep. Set pole outside the door. Drive safe

Taking a wallet in Bass Proshops drains most of our money til next year. They have alot of kool stuff especially if youre an outdoor person
I am surprised you did not check out the restaurant that is usually connected to a BassPro shop . I saw that small pond when you and Bella were out for your walk an thought , oh boy water and Bella , lol . Stay safe have fun , give Bella a rub for me .
Why did many things in there say Cabela's? Did they combine? I've been in that exact Bass Pro many times but I never looked up and I didn't know they had a dog park! I live in the area, I'll have to go back and bring my dogs.

If your heading south from Gansville, Eric from Nomdic last year stayed in Titusville on the casway I think for free

Dave, 2 things to consider on the propane exchange
1. They only fill to 15lbs (3.6) gallons, (check your price per gallon)
2.most propane tanks are only inspected to a 5 year expiration date noted on the collar
New tanks have 12 years
I only exchange when my tank when it is expired
It is way cheaper to just have them filled

Do you run your buddy heater on low and how long do it last the propane? And do you leave a window open a crack?
I used to go to the original Bass Pro shop in Springfield, Missouri, we have one here in NW Arkansas now. Haven't been to it is several years since I sold my boats.
Only 15 lb in the tank not 20 lb did you know that.
9:50 the wildlife sound was that of a loon. A common sound in the north woods. Almost every lake has at least one pair during the summer. They eat fish and can fly underwater.
