Let's revisit if Rhaenyra went to Rooks Rest instead of Rhaenys. This time, for whatever reason, Aemond is not involved. Its Rhaenyra vs Aegon, Syrax vs Sunfyre alone

Syrax has a slight size advantage however small it may be, but both dragons are inexperienced combatants. Honestly could go to whoever
@@ShiniesoftheGandersthe advantage rhaenyra has is that she is a better and experienced dragon rider and syrax listens to her and defends her fiercely like sunfyre. Rhaenyra has been dragon riding longer than aegon and was the youngest to ever claim a dragon at 7.
I don't think seniority would really count, both dragons are equally fierce and defensive of their riders. Both also seem to be the same overall build so it's a question of "Who does more damage to the other?"
Im pretty sure Vhagar would've been more tired than Maelys, given her size and Maelys being able to out fly her.
Meleys is fast enough to outrun Vhagar. I think Rhaenys can escape to Dragonstone or Harrenhal, where she'd have backup.

- What if instead of Syrax, Rhaenyra bonded with Vermithor? What if this happens right after she is named as the heir?
- What if Viserys was smart and abdicated the throne to Rhaenyra when he started to get too sick to rule? Or at least name her regent to rule in his stead until he dies? Giving her time to strengthen her position while he is still alive.
I think I’d love to see the “What If Rhaenyra bonded with Vermithor after being named heir” happen because it sounds interesting to see the realms delight bond with the bronze fury. I feel like they would make an incredible duo.

you’re cooked if you think Rhaenys & Meleys didn’t already account for the mass difference and that is why they Specifically engaged Vhagar in a close range spiral. Rhae locks in to the saddle then Meleys flips upside down n grabs V’s foot when they first engage and holds them together until they are too low for Vhagar to avoid the ground, then Meleys CHOOSES to release the hold and leaves the engagement practically unscathed. Dragon fighting is messy but you can clearly see Rhaenys’ tactics at play, or did u think they added those scenes just for fun? It’s called visual storytelling bruh
what if the dragons lived like after the fall of the capital at the hands of the peasants some of the dragon guards were able to save the dragon Jaehrys and Jaheera and Dreamfire was able to release her chains and she escaped
I’m not so sure Rhaenyra would let Daeron live actually, in the finale she’s pretty set on ending the opposition (took her an insanely long time to get there but whatever) so like I could definitely see her either reaching the conclusion that Daeron needs to die by herself or her council being able to convince of that
In the finale, she means specifically on Aegon, since he's the one who usurped her throne.
As for Daeron, I don't think Rhaenyra would see him as a threat, since he's around Jacaerys age and Tessarion is even a smaller dragon than Jace's Vermax.
And once Rhaenyra learns about Daeron's character, I doubt she would consider killing him,
she might send him away to Essos or make a marriage pact between him and, maybe, Rhaena,
assuring that the only male bloodline of the Greens has left has very low chance to rebel against her.
I don't know about that. The writers has made her character inconsistent; one moment she's resolute, another she's hesitant.

Another great What If my dude!! Here’s some possible ideas for you to consider:
-What if Viserys refuses to remarry after Aemma and Baelon died?
-What if Rhaenyra and Baelon were twins (and Baelon survived)?
Also…WHEN ARE WE GETTING WHAT IF DAEMON HAD A SON PART 3?!?!
Edit: just thought of two more What If ideas:
-What If Viserys died before having kids with Alicent? Or, alternatively, What if Viserys died before marrying naming Rhaenyra heir?
-What if Daemon married Alicent? Or, alternatively, What if Daemon and Alicent had a bastard child together? (I’m in the middle of reading Fire and Blood so I don’t know this first hand, but I have heard that in the book it is implied the reason Otto doesn’t like Daemon is because there is a rumor Daemon took Alicent’s “maiden head” so…what if that rumor was true and she got pregnant?)

A Pyrrhic victory it would be indeed, but a decisive one. She killed the symbol of power(Aegon) and the greatest threat(Aemond).
What If Myrcella was born first? What if Cersei died in Childbirth?
For the first scenario, nothing at all happens. Since women are still forbidden from inheriting, even if Myrcella would be the firstborn, Joffrey would still become the king
Rhaenys is the 5th Targaryen with most experience riding a dragon, just behind Aegon the Conqueror.

This was shorter than expected, then again, it’s pretty much a Black victory with the death of Aemond & Rhaenys, with Aegon-II being critically injured.
Much better then the *Black Reign* fic at AO3, always felt that fic was very bias.
As for this what if, it’s hard to say what else happens as it seems simple to understand, with the troubles of Daemon wanting the Iron Throne, but his sisters would probably wouldn’t join them as Baela is marrying Jace, and Raena is wouldn’t attack her sister.
There’s a possibility of a Green resurgent if Aegon-II survives like in canon, and his brother Daeron living and having children with Dragons.
An ok what if, not bad, just mostly simple.

You can cleary see that Rhaenys planned the downward spiral. She put her seat belt on, flew beneath Vhagar because she then can attack the open belly and we already saw that Meleys uses her claws quite often, when she ripped Sunfyres chest open. She then used Vhagars weight and lack of agility against herself and held onto her up to the point where Vhagar couldnt continue flying and Meleys got away pretty much unscaved. Meleys wasnt actively THROWING Vhagar to the ground but the entire stunt was planned by Rhaenys.
It was fairly obvious that’s what happened and that’s how Eagles fights, which was the inspiration.

In this scenario, with Lucerys gone, Rhaena not could be married to Daeron to join the family further than just Aegon III and Jahaera
I would have thought Vhagar had reached the age where she had to be cautious during take off as well a landings, so I would think Vhagar had had it last flight

And finally this is a what if i would love to see what if Viserys and Daemon brother Aegon survived child birth and lived how would the story changed if there were three brothers instead of two, would Aegon be like Viserys, or Deamon or would he bring balance between them.

Would love to see a what if where Daemon claimed Meleys and Rhaenys claimed Caraxes or What if Rhaenyra claimed Vermithor and models herself to be like king Jaehaerys
To be fair I don't think Rhaenyra would get to King's Landing before Daemon. She was very indecisive whole season and wanted to avoid bloodshed in the capital (but by the end was ok with bloodshed in Oldtown and Lannisport for some reason). Daemon would instantly rush to the capital.
Also, I don't think Rhaena would be able to claim Vhagar. The dragon chooses her rider depending on a character and Vhagar is quite a cruel dragon. Granted, we didn't really see Rhaena acting like a good person, or at least I don't remember a scene like that, but she just doesn't appear to be someone like Visenya, Aemond, Baelon or Laena.
Great video btw. Shame Tessarion is so small in the show. In the books she was the same size as Seasmoke, which would leave the black with Caraxes as the only bigger dragon than her, but in the show she wouldn't be a problem. Probably the only watfor the Greens to still have any chance in this scenario, would be to get dragonseeds to claim the dragons, like Rhaenyra and Jace did in canon. Since Daeron is smart, he could came to that conclusion but the only dragons outside of Dragon stone are Vhagar and Sheepstealer. Alternatively they could take Dragonstone after everyone leavs for King's Landing, take dragonseeds with them and try to claim any dragon there (we saw that Silverwing was willing to accept anyone xd ) Hugh would come with them anyway, because he didn't care who offers the dragon. Tessarion, Vermithor and Silverwing would be enought to be a threat.

Kind of feel like because Meleys is the faster dragon she could have just ran after taking out Aemond, after all Meleys has out positioned Vhagar and is now behind her facing the open sea, if Rhaenys is smart she should just get Meleys to run back to dragonstone, even with Vhagar blood lusted I’m not sure she would follow all the way back and even if she did she’d be running straight into the blacks other dragons and their defenses

i don't think daemon will try to take the throne to himself because in book he was love rhaenyra and he tried so hard to win the war for her but i think this AU will still have problems with the greens but little bit but daemon yeah probably will be biggest problem will rhaenyra have if rhaenys win in battle against aemond and vhagar but i want rhaenys to live and return with victory i think greens will try to use the problem between rhaenyra and daemon to take throne again so yeah the war still happens but in different way
Doomed to die, tragic. Still the win not bringing the Blacks together but with the possibility of creating a new civil war is another inevitability is a little tragic.
WHAT IF....
Myrcella was to be married off to, Theon or Robin? That one of those were the choices Tyrion gave Pycelle.
Margery escaped the Wild Fire? That when she first realized something was wrong she got out.
For Margaery, I think there are three possible ways
1. Try to get to reach Tommen and control him to punish Cersei.
2. Sneak out of King's Landing and go back to Highgarden, rejoin Olenna, and together travel to Dorne,
where they have a conversation with the Sand Snake and then join Daenerys.
3. Still sneak out of King's Landing, but instead of going to Highgarden, she goes straight to the North and reunite with Sansa.
Because if Cersei find out that Margaery can escape the Sept, she will definitely assume that Margaery will go back to her home at Highgarden,
and then send her soldier to hunt Margaery to the Reach. Now, Margaery already has an establish relationship with Sansa,
so, I think it is not impossible that somehow Margaery knows that Sansa, along with Jon, successfully retook Winterfell from the Boltons.
Margaery might see that the North is a safer place to go, and then, she would take the Kingsroad and go all the way to Winterfell,
declare that House Tyrell and the Reach will support the North in the war-to-come with Cersei.
@94mp99 Sorry for late reply, would she know though about Sansa being North? Jon is made/named King same episode sept blew up, and Cersei only found out about Sansa since little finger told her.
I see her going to Tommen as long as she can get inside the Red keep before the Sept's destruction.
As for heading to the Reach this seems like the most likely outcome. Get to the closest castle in it, write to her Grandmother on her survival and then meet her in Highgarden. From there 3 outcomes:
1) As you put she travels with Olenna to Dorne and as long as Margery doesn't return to Highgarden will survive.
2) Still makes a play for the Iron Throne against her Grandmother's wishes, in which case she will Marry Euron as she won't skip around the proposal like Cersei did. From there anyone's guess.
3) Doesn't go after the Iron Throne, but doesn't go to Dorne either instead she becomes Queen of an independent Kingdom of the Reach, most likely Marrying Dickon Tarly, with sending letters to Sansa & Jon for an Alliance.

This situation has to many show stuff and then book stuff mixed up for convenience, cool video anyway but it reminds me of the show itself only taking things to make it more interesting, but this is a youtube video and is interesting.

I do think this is based on House of the Dragon, not Fire & Blood, which in the show, Aegon has only two children: Jaehaerys and Jaehaera.
