Good info as always but I'd like to make a few small suggestions. As you did with Alexander's, please mention warranty terms / cost. It can make a big difference from SI to SI. Also, if shipping is additional or included. The SI I have used on my last two builds does not charge extra for shipping or sales tax but does for upgraded 3 year parts & labor with lifetime tech support. These do impact the bottom line. Much appreciated! Keep up the great work!
Been looking around for a good, if not decent gaming computer. Even though it’s going to take a very long time to save up for one. At least your videos will help narrow down which places to search from and all that.
this is really helpful that you pick the components. I'm a guy who won't touch the computer after I buy it, so i would appreciate a build without thoughts that something will be swapped out later
just built a 2tb 7800x3d with a 7900xt on i buy power for $2k on the dot. shipped out today, very excited for my first (besides the rog ally, which opened my eyes to PC gaming) rig! also copped a Samsung 240 hz 1440 p monitor. no more 30 frames!!
I'm really liking the Power Prestige from PowerPGU. With an Intel-i7-14700k and an nVidia RTX4080 Super, it comes out to almost $2,900. Is that worth the money or could I get more bang for my buck sacrificing aesthetics for something just as quiet and powerful?
I give one on one help during my streams for free, but it can take a while for your turn to come up if you join the wait list. I've been encouraged to start doing consultations off stream. Drop me a line at the email listed in my about section if you're interested.
@@braethorn Thanks for the heads up! i didn't realize it was happening so soon. How much longer do you think it might be before Power begins to offer PC's that reflect the upcoming releases? Thanks neighbor
First off let me tell you this was an excellent video you're an interesting guy to listen to. That being said you spent the first 10 minutes of this video justifying your opinion I personally think that time would have been better spent going over more systems in the $2,000 price range. You should remember you can never please everybody...... keep up the good work man
In the CPU wait game. Got the i7-12700k right now with 64GB CL16 3600 ddr4 ram and a 4090. So if I upgrade itd have to be a 14700k and at that point why keep ddr4. I either wait for 15th gen intel or make the switch over to AM5. Either way Ive gotta udate to ddr5
Hey Braethorn, I recently came across your video and absolutely loved the information you provided. I am currently working on building my first custom PC after using a gifted one for years and gradually upgrading it. The old PC has reached a point where it's more practical to buy a new one and potentially repurpose the old parts later. Thanks to your video, I learned about iBuyPower and managed to find an amazing discount. However, I wanted to let you know that your discount code for the website did not work.
I became a fan of the channel through researching some other companies (good and bad) and appreciated your honesty and focus on the consumers. I just went with Alexander PCs based on all the good information you've shared about that company, and it was an easy choice. I could have made a grave mistake, and gone with a company like Apex, and I'm so glad I didn't 😂
I’m trying to get into my first pc mostly just for gaming and a little bit of video editing. I have around 1.5k what would be my best choice ? Thank you
I get that a 7950x is better than a 7950x3d cpu for content creation but how much is the disparity if you have a x3d and wanna do content creation?! Is it just slower or u can’t run as many apps as the 7950x?!
The 7950X3D is still great for content creation. Core parking complicates things. Besides that, the 8 cores with 3D v-cache run at lower frequency due to thermal limitations. It's just simpler to get a 7950X for a multi-purpose PC, but both are great.
@@braethorn unfortunately the IBP PC that I specifically wanted that you picked out in one of your videos where you show us great options doesn’t have the 7950x it has the 7900x3D! The model that I’m speaking on is the Y40RG201! RDY system
Bought the same build as the RDY north from Cyberpower for $1699 ... same CPU same GPU .. same 32 gb DDR5 same storage ...Bestbuy has it... shouldn't be hard to find
I currently have 1447$ and I in no way trust myself to build a pc and I’ve heard that apex gaming pcs suck that’s about all I know. I’m looking for a good gaming pc that had decent storage and can handle a bit of tomfoolery. Can someone please help me with finding something good because I’m quite frankly lost
Can someone link me a gaming pc + a monitor that will fit with it well that can run fortnite, roblox, vrchat games like that Etc? I’m not really trying to spend 1000+ but lmk I might

excellent and most informative videos! My third video since exploring PC builds and youve got my Sub
Just used one of your codes for Alexanderpc's - worked perfectly - thank you!
Which one as the best support though ?
If i decide to buy a prebuilt pc, can i continue upgrading parts for it further down the road? or am stuck with the pc exactly the way it is?
What pc builders would you recommend in the 2-4k range. Sorry i know u mention your favs often i just forgot to write them down since i wasnt shopping
Hello. Have you done a deep dive on the PSU that IBUYPOWER uses in their systems? Is it any good or do I need to swap it out?

Please tell me you didn’t buy that, can get a 4090 prebuilt for that price.
How come there is no Skytech in this video Brae?
I've covered Skytech a lot of times. If I included every SI in every video, they'd each be 4 hours long.
@@braethorn ok fair enough Brae😊
@@braethorn Are we having a Livestream tonight?
Bruh I just bought mine yesterday around 2k and now you make this video today 😭😭😂
You can always get 1 on 1 help during the streams too. Regardless, I'm sure it's a great system 👍
Would you recommend main gear’s mg-1 at $2500? My friend recommended it but I’m not sure
Im looking for best 4k prebuilt pc with the best parts inside 4090 etc money is not an issue any suggestions

I'm looking at skytech eclipse 2, with 7800x3d, 4090, 64 ram, not sure about motherboard, still looking into.
Would the AMD version of the Power Prime be equally good IYO? I just have always gone red. Thanks
You might want to hold off for a bit, new AMD CPUs will be announced on Monday!

When will we be getting the 1.5k budget vid? Would love your thoughts on the Main Gear MG-1
Alright, Tom Segura. If I'm playing Star Citizen and Tarkov (which are both CPU intensive games apparently) which processor should I go with?
I see the spreadsheet; where is the form that I would fill out though? I link to it and it is read only.
yall know any good pc's that can do dule screens????
