The North End with C&O 5704: Ohio Rail Experience 2021

- This is the second in a series of three videos covering the Ohio Rail Experience's North End Excursion. This section covers the southbound run with Chesapeake & Ohio 5704 leading on the I&O and Nickel Plate Road 901on the Adrian & Blissfield.

In 2019 Ohio Rail Experience broke free of its namesake state for a run up the DT&I to Diann Tower, just south of Dundee Michigan. This one-day excursion on the rarely travelled "North End" of the DT&I created a great amount of hype for the next trip. 2021 would see a similar occurrence, only this time the trip would stop and Riga and back down the Adrian & Blissfield to layover in Blissfield Michigan.
The 2021 North End runs would mark a series of historical firsts:
- The Ohio Rail Experience would leave Indiana & Ohio tracks on an excursion to run on the Adrian & Blissfield.
- This was the first time in almost 30 years a guest train would traverse the A&B, and likely the first time a passenger train interchanged in Blissfield off of the DT&I.
- In Malinta, the Clover Leaf First subdivision saw its first Nickel Plate Road streamlined coach, as passenger service discontinued in 1941.
