Adjustable stabilizer bar 99$ was very impressed with quality just make sure u tighten jam nut I drilled small hole 1/8 inch in the nut on one flat side an inserted set screw N/P
Cool vid!!!! I did a similar swap on my 01 Ram 1500. I used the T set-up from the 97-98.5 ram 2500s. It has worked great for over 10 years. It's weird that dodge used a t set-up for just a year and a half.
Gotta 98 ram2500. Trying to find some master pro tie rod ends to compare and yet to find a video. 😂 Really wondering if I got the wrong parts from Orillys auto parts. Seeing this video the ole farmer already upgraded the steering to what you have here… has a noice adjustable trac bar too. Which is completely shot. Would love to rebuild it but the rust belt USA has taken its toll. Good video here and it was actually very helpful.
Is there anything that can be done to fix the steering to help them actually make a U-Turn? Lol my single cab '94 2500 take 10 blocks to make a U-Turn haha
@@josepharuanna9924 i bought that exact arm off ebay and it did not work on my 2001 dodge ram 2500 with steering upgrade. the hole was way too big for my steering box.

Dodge off road sucks!!! Got the run around for months, had to report them to the BBB and file a claim at my bank to get my money back... over 6 months later!!!!!
@peter conway that wasn't my question. When googling that, one's for $700 comes up or one's that don't have the damper shock for $300. I want to know which one he ordered.
When doing your own quick and dirty alignment just to make the truck driveable to the alignment shop, do you carry over the thread count/measurement from the old linkage to the new one or what?
I_Dont_Eat_My_Friends no not necessarily. what you want to do is measure the distance on your old trac bar on the truck from tie rod to tie rod then install the new one with the same spacing but make sure when you do you screw left and right tie rod end in equally to that spacing distance!
Just changed mine and have done several others the same way. Measure front and rear of front tires and have about 1/8 inch toe in, it will drive good and not wear tires bad.
Don’t try to order a kit from synergy. I tried in Jan and was told 2 weeks after I placed my order the kit for mine was on back order. Tried again 2 weeks ago and was told after 2 weeks and many emails was told would still be a few weeks waiting on welding and powder coating.
Yes, I did it on my 01. Watch out on stock wheels, I had to grind a little something (can't remember exactly what, been awhile) something was rubbing a little. Been working good for several years.
@@jaxturner7288 I installed on my 01 without much issue, if you have stock wheels the ball joint ends will rub a little, I just grinded them down a tad, also I noticed (saw a rub mark on tie rod from pitman arm were I must have hit a large bump off road? I guess some people have got a different arm to change the angle? I've had on for several years and glad I did. Although if money wasn't an issue I'd sell it and buy a Duramax 😂

Hey great video! I have a question if someone can help me out.i bought a 2000 dodge ram 5.9 magnum. That really needs a front end kit. Is the suspension the same between a 5.9 magnum and a 5.9 cummins
From what I’m told everything is the same except frame thickness on the 1500. When I ordered my lift it says for gas or diesel on those springs. It will give you a little more lift with the gas do to the weight difference.
Thank you so much for this video man I'm having a heck of a time with my Dodge ram I wanna try and find that part for mine but I can't find it I have a 01 Dodge ram sport 4x4 do you think it would work?
@leeheckrote9923 could possibly help me with what pitman arm you used? I got the moog kit and it bolted right up to my knuckles but not my pitman arm please help 😅

Longer control are really needed on this truck, that front axle needs to be pushed forward a couple inches
I’ll agree it could move forward a inch. I wasn’t expecting the springs to lift it as much as it did.
Tried to do it on my 98 ram 1500 it does not work on my pitman arm so I bought a 2500 pitman arm hopefully it will work
I know this comment is old but I wanted to do the same on my 96' 1500. Can you give a update on the fitment and if it works well?
Good info, really clears up the upgrade and what to expect when doing it. Thanks!.
