Did you use the lube that was supplied with the mousse for first 44hrs ? Also do you have a update between the factory lube and the Murphys tire soap ? Was one better than the other ? Thanks
@ highlandcycles was that Soft version of Nitro Mousse?. Looking to buy it but dont know which one to choose, standard or soft for Hard Enduro rides, manly wood terrain. 140/80-18 Also i looking for longevity of mousse, not one race mousse. Anu suggestions please. thanks
I’ve had my Michelin mousses for 5 years, might be done now. I think I will give these ago though.
I really like them.
I'll have to try one of those when I need a fresh bib
You'll like it
Are you still a fan of the plushe?
I like it but I actually like the mousse balls more now
what type of grease do you use to install the mousse! nice video! keep it up
I either use the lube they send or Murphy's tire soap. The Murphy's is great if you don't live in a wet climate.
@@highlandcycles Your videos are really helpful, thank you! from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
KTM300 awesome to hear. Hope things are settling down there!

Yes on the supplied lube. Murphy’s is great in a dry climate like ours but if the wet, it washes out since it is basically just soap.
@@highlandcycles Thanks I'll stick with the factory recommend lube.👍🏻
What mousse would you recomend for desert riding? Soft rear and standard up front?
I recommend regular for both. They hold up much longer.
@@highlandcycles awsome!!

This was actually the platinum before they started calling it that. I would get that one for what you are describing. I would go with the NM18-325
It will take a bit to break in but you’ll get good life and NO FLATS!!
highlandcycles thanks a lot
for comparison, how many hours were you getting from a standard nitro mousse in the rear tire?
J B great question. I was getting about the same life (assuming this one continues to wear like I think it will) but not as good of a ride
@@highlandcycles what would you say the PSI feel is for the soft Nitro's?
PrimalEnduro initially I’d say 12 but they break in to feeling like 6 to 8 pretty fast.
@@highlandcyclesI wonder how the 6-8psi ones feel after being broken in then?
@@ThisTall very soft
