You rock Morgan good luck this kind of weekend. Hope you do well. Period and what you do for the dirt biking community definitely makes people get out on their dirt bikes!
love putting myself out of my comfort zone. I dont know if i would want to put myself this far though! always looks so rough. Definitely excited to see how it goes
should try jet hand guards they attach to the end of the handle bar where you bar end goes which sux because the bar end digs strait into the dirt where the jet hand guards slide across the ground and dont jack up your grips or handle bars and hand guards dont bend in and get your hands
Im like you.. it feels best when im hauling the mail... hard enduro is cool but I just hate all the pipe smashing..... plus the heat index is like 130 here in Central Texas so not to Bueno for airflow
With my protaper/ODI lock ons, I prefer to just file out the inside of the grips a little bit instead of grinding the bars. Only takes a minute with a round file.
I really enjoy all your videos, thanks for taking the time to film and upload them. It's been really cool to see your subscribers grow. Good luck on the race. If you ever want to come and ride some primo single track in Tennessee just let me know. I got plenty of room here at my house.
Hey Morgan question on the Acerbis gas tank. Do you use the wood screws that Acerbis includes to mount the fuel pump or do you use the larger 1/4"x1.25" screws that Taco Moto Co recommends? I just picked up one for my 23 TX 300. Thanks
How many hours were on the gearbox oil? I'm curious since you said you'd been hard on the clutch since the last oil change. Also, what's your preferred Mako 360 polymer and shark bite color combo? Hoping you have fun and ride to your potential at the Hard Enduro!
@@highlandcycles ya so you or someone can get upward leverage on the strap at a lower grab point. Good luck! Watch your videos daily. Getting back into the sport after 10 years and you helped to inspire me.
I grew up riding fairly hard enduro before the term was coined. In the last couple years I’ve fell into harescramble and motocross racing and my desire for hard enduro has vanished. Fast flowy single track? You bet. But like you said, I don’t get it. Lol
@@highlandcycles I stand corrected…. Scrolling through Ben’s product line up…some really cool “must haves “…. Btw thanks Morgan… my $15.00 funnel has now ballooned into $150+ worth of goodies… LOL 😮
You had two other points to bolt that rear strap in the blue plastic area outboard from the first two you tried. Why not clean that airbox friend it looks like my underwear at the end of the week.
I love all the blue and orange in the shop

I think the tugger strap actually goes beneath the lower clamps and over front fender.
Ahhh! I bet you’re right
Yeap
Just about to said the same 👌

I look forward to all your footage. 🤟👊✊💨💨💨

go watch Max Gerston and see what youre in for- looks like fun. Good luck
It was gnarly
I'm pretty sure the new emig v2 grips have the same grip style but without the metal end cap.
I personally put the tugger under the triples easier to pul that way
I fixed it. I’m brand new to this stuff.
Finally, first place!!!!!
Solid
How often do you change the spark plug?
I try to remember to every 30 hrs or so
What chain and sprockets brand wise
Front sprocket, protaper, rear DDC, DID x ring chain
How about some teflon tape under the brake and clutch perch?
I never do that. I just don’t tighten them down super tight
that bike is the baddest but I love that monster kawi haha goodluck

About 10hrs on that oil with lots of beating. My Cush setup is purple polymer orange shark bite. My race setup is green and green.
Still running the clutch weight?
Yes
Well....light to medium enduro!
I know you love your new XC, but wouldn’t daisy be more suited for this race? Good luck and can’t wait to see videos of the race.
It would except that she is all setup for trail clearing. And people want to see if the XC can do it
So when you start your race, here's some advice. Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, Turn. 😂
Arent the fork loops supposed to go below the fender
Yeah. Someone else said that. I’ll switch it see, I don’t know this stuff.

Prolly do a top end
Does the dealer charge for the updated map or is it a warranty claim? Hoping my dealer doesn’t charge me.
Depends on the dealer. KTM doesn’t consider it warranty unfortunately. But if you have a good dealer they will just do it.
Love the funnels, too bad they're out of them.

🤘🤘
Good luck in Idaho
great vid.. BUT......although the threaded funnel is super cool and super cheap ($15.00)... but $16.00 for FCKIN shipping ?.. YIKES !
Freight is crazy but if you buy a brake spring thing and a couple other small things it’s not bad. And it’s cool

Those are plastic to plastic. And nah, the important parts are clean. Good way to force water where it doesn’t belong
@@highlandcycles I mean spray a rag with cleaner and wipe all that brown off before removing filter.
first step buy a yamaha!
I don’t know. I love YZ’s but an e start is pretty handy in hard enduro
@@highlandcycles you got me there! Yamaha needs to step up their game in that area!!
