- The Forest Sinkhole How to get down is my video to show you the 2 fastest ways to get down with minimal effort. This is one of my tutorial/tips video and be sure to check out my other ones and subscribe for more future content.
ABOUT THE GAME:
As the lone survivor of a passenger jet crash, you find yourself in a mysterious forest battling to stay alive against a society of cannibalistic mutants.
Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator.
Key alpha features
Enter a living, breathing world, where every tree and plant can be chopped down. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.
Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving.
Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. Lay traps and defences to keep a safe perimeter.
Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools. Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy.
Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families, morals and that appear almost human.
Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones.

@Former Auror i plat the game on ps4 , what i meant was , the gas never ends neither the sparkles , im sorry for my english , if you use only 1 lighter in real life , after a month it will be empty of gas or something else , that never happens in the forest , you never have to reffil the ligther.

There's a third way. I actually jumped carefully down, from edge to edge and it worked. At the lowest edge u can actually carefully kill all the big guys. From thereu you can actually run the caves up backwards.

I have a 3rd method, you must get in the dead cave then turn left , right , and left from turnouts. you will came across a man who has dynamites near him and a photo of sinkhole then keep going and you will be in the middle height of the sinkhole, then you can jump down on a puddle down there and you will survive but i don't know how to climb up again. I tried it a few times and it worked but every time i died because i couldn't climb again.

Just build a glider and get down. Also there's a bug with glider that allows you to get higher than the place where you start so you can get in and out the sinkhole easily.

I used the second method without knowing lol my friend joked to me if i could make it down there jumping ledge to ledge i did it a bit different and only took fall damage once but made it down there and completed the game via second ending
Use a turtle shell sled. You just get enough momentum and you hit the bottom with no damage.
I did that today accidentally and still survived the fall😂🤣

Should've showed where the entrance is at on the map before u went down in the cave. Wouldve helped.
White tent is at north-west from Sinkhole, close to village at west, and lake at north. In village U have cave 10 - waterfall climbing enterance; this is cave 9 - sinkhole ladge climbing enterance ;) For future viewers :)

I noticed you can use the climbing gear for a lot of parts in the sinkhole. I just dropped down from the top and used the gear in the right moment.

It happens when your frames go really low but it doesnt always work

You forgot one way: Just walk in and it work (for me it does).
You can get into the pit using a turtle shell at a certain point of the pit you slide off and glitch under ground and pop up out of the water

There's another way you have to time it though. So basically you have jump and land at the perfect time on a rock to slide on it

For anyone reading the comments, you can literally just make your way down from the very top its faster then everything else mentioned in the video. Plus you cant build a zipline the way he did due to the fact that you can only hold 4 ropes, he did it due to him admitting he was in creative.

You literally can build a zip line that way. 7 cloth makes 1 rope. It is time consuming but I’ve done it multiple times in normal mode. I’ve never had a problem with the zip line method except the patrols near the so hole when I’m actually building it
I literally found the edge where the water was closest to, and I jus jumped and landed in it

Try the first way to get down, its the best option. The second one is too risky.

U can use a turtle shell to get down and it’s very cheap
My friends and I just build a zip line across the hole then jump down when above the water
I just jumped down... It glitched and I took no damage lol

I will have to try it one time I got revived went by inventory for meds it froze for 30 seconds went out and I fell to the bottom took no damage and climbed back out
