@@kensid1 SNK employees stated they loved Dan and were impressed with capcom's respond to them. The fact that Capcom was acknowledging them was a victory. And even complimented Capcom for, they stated they felt Capcom was always a step ahead.

It was good to finally see Demitri Maximoff in a crossover between companies... I'd like to see him in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.
I believe it's partially because everyone needed a form for Midnight Bliss.
This had a significantly better roster than CvS2 and nothing can convince me otherwise.

A flawed gem of a game if they had spent more time on the collision detection in development and decent strike sounds it would have been up there with cvs2 shame .
At the very least, it needed better, more celebratory stages and better soundtracks. Without those, this felt like a collection of rejected KOF stages and soundtracks.
It's Not a bad game lol , just ask any SNK fan, it literally feels like an old school KOF playability wise XD
The stage is probably due to story reasons @@Kenny-Blankenship..... because it has a manga (yeah, that was very neat)
At least representation was better than SNK vs Street Fighter and Morrigan.

From 1987/1991-2001 for both SNK & Capcom, the EXACT same team of people for them both created and developed EVERY SINGLE ONE of the Fighting Games for both companies, that team then became it’s very own company called: “Dimps”
The character selection was on point!

It really is something seeing the Street Fighter characters done in the far more realistic, not to mention proportionally correct SNK style. I do tire of the plague of man-hands and man-feet that all of the female characters have in the CAPCOM fighters.
i find it funny how Capcoms still feel like generic types of chars except for Sagat, Hugo and Guile... you have the indian guy, the chinesse girl, the afroamerican boxer, the hispanic beautifull assasin and the Saddam with powers lol
I have mixed feelings about the look of this game for the capcom characters. on one hand the sprites are detailed and well drawn, but on the other hand I don't like the over all look. I also like that they are more similar to the sprites of SF2. But I'm just not digging the overall look

I loved the look of this game but the sound and hit detection were off, I'd be down for a reboot even though that will never happen lol

Miss this game, your missing iori full finisher, when you have to time it. When he grabs the enemy by the chest and push them to the ground and start push energy into their chest like cpr.
So Geonitz, & Geese in The Home version of KOF '02, & It's Update were lifted from this game.

the specials are pretty tame. i remember since k.o.f 99 the hits where going up in specials. with the average special having 28 hits.

As Capcom might send their boring and slow fighters, SNK might send out their most powerful monsters, starting from Yamazaki, through the Hakesshu, the Nests, to the recent bosses and that trap named Ash. ( I still don't know what in the hell it is, a boy, a girl or a chimaera?, same as Poison)

Andros the warrior High Alpha Most of them are easy. A few characters like Geese, Guile and Vega have some difficult imputs imo.
The only game that feature Zero from Megaman zero series and his super is actually him using all the elf possible

demochris1 you're wrong, K-Dash was introduced in early 2000s or 1999 to be more specific, they challenged eachother around 2003-2005ish, by that time K-Dash was a prominent fighter and a fan favorite in KOF 2002
I was shocked to find out the SNES, Genesis and the Neo Geo were all 16 bit consoles. In terms of performance, the Neo Geo took the other two out behind the barn, shot them, set them on fire, chopped their bodies into tiny little pieces, threw the pieces into a pile, then blew the pile up with dynamite!
In other words, it killed them! The Neo Geo was a sprite pushing beast!
Except that the price didn't let that happen lol

SvC Chaos is still a game you're better off watching a TAS of rather than playing it. Some endings kinda rock, though.

Krizalid99 True but he's also harder to combo since his move set is smaller than Zero's & he's a bit slower.
Zero has low stamina also geese is more easy to use.
Also orochi iori is really good because of his crossups, his jump D is one of the best (if not the best) jump in the game and the broken command grab

Years later and I still think the audio of this game is absolute garbage (same goes to the hit detection). Capcom did a better job on the crossover than SNK
