So glad you are here.
Thankyou so much. I've been so undecided on what substrate and if I'd pasturize or steralise etc. I now know I'm going to cold pasturize bulk as that's simply what's most accessible to me!
Thank you sir I learned a lot I'm from Philippines..
Also from the Philippines here growing cubes. Mush love 🍄
Love how you explain things thkz

I don’t want to purchase a pressure cooker: costs and I have no space (live in apartment). I’ve been using my instapot. Thoughts?
Love the video.
We have a video on how to use an instantpot on our channel too!
Great job
Thanks!
Why is pasteurization suggested for substrate vs. sterilizing it ??? How do you know which one to use?
Basically less nutrient substrates like bulk substrates (Wood, straw etc) can be pasteurized while higher nutrient substrates like grains and anything with sugar should be sterilized. For more info on why pasteurization can be better check out our other video! ruclips.net/video/dy7WJA1lPJQ/видео.html
@@Fungiacademy Thank you!
Hi, does it affect the sterilization if my water is a little salty.
Yeaaa the saline environment will not be good for your mushrooms
What? What was that little pop-up mushy eyeball!? You want me to cultivate you, and teach all my friends? Ok!... wait shhh 🤭 there's more... Oh, you want this because you want take the planet back from the humans who stole and pillaged it? Hmm, well that got dark fast.
Nah theyre just there to help us!👏
If all this is necessary tell me again how mushrooms grow outside? 😂
They grow outside due to mere quantity and chance... We do not have universal quantity nor should we count on chance
Well where I'm at there's about a million beef cows strolling around dropping huge warm piles of dung on the spores. That's about "perfect" as far as nature can be. The truth is there's probably a whole list of contam just floating around your home so you gotta be more careful. I let trich out a year ago and still have to be super clean in my hobby.
He literally explains this in the first minute
In the wild, it's survival of the fittest. In domestic settings, we don't want the fittest as sometimes the fittest is a mold we can't eat or a bacterium that will put compete put desired mushrooms. We don't care if the mushroom that grows is the strongest and best... Because we're going to eat it. All we care about as getting as many mushrooms as possible
Youre sterilizing whole grain spawn with that "hyper pasteurizer"? Thats fantastic. Do you have a link or pdf of where you got the design. We have two 55gal drums I would love to turn into bulk sterilizers
We don't sterilize our grain in the hyper pasteurizer, just the good old all americans. Keep your eyes peeled on our videos! We'll be making one soon!
Wow with your corncob mushrooms, are you shredding that or leaving it whole? Is that just corn cobs in a lime bath?
