From the demo, this seemed to okay like super meat boy; did you play with a controller or keyboard? I would be playing this on steam deck, the lack of exploration, the smb play style makes me reluctant to buy.
@@NindieGames yes, in the intro, thanks! Anyway i was tinking to buy it, but i am not too much into metroidvanias focused on platforming and puzzle solving! how hard are puzzles and the platforming?
It's disappointing as a metroidvania, but somewhat acceptable as a puzzle platformer. They could've removed the combat altogether and nothing of value would've been lost. The bosses are all snooze-fests; the boring music mixed with the slow as fuck projectiles and movement does make them tedious to fight.
Looks like Ori gameplay with a super meat boy character in the world of Gris

I used a controller, the game honestly plays very well, it really just depends on what you value most in a Metroidvania.
I like games that give me nostalgic ptsd and anger issues
Nice review!
Please can you tell me what games are the top left, the one below top left, and the one below angel gears!
Thanks...
Thanks! Assuming you're referring to the intro, top left is Rebel Transmute, below that is Shinobi III, and the one below Angel's Gear is Inukari!

@@michelemurano2249 Overall it's not the most difficult game but it's not overly easy either, pretty casual but challenging enough to be fun.

I actually enjoyed the presentation of some of the bosses such as Quinn, but I agree overall it's a super slow process.
