Excelentes videos amiga! Ojalá y me sacaras de dudas en cuanto al mantenimiento del equipo. No se tapa el cabezal? Cuanto tiempo puede estar sin usarse y sin taparse? Ojalá me ayudaras a aclarar esas dudas y cuanto tiempo llevas sin tener problemas con tu impresora.
Muchas gracias! Si se puede tapar el cabezal si no hay uso por mucho tiempo y pues la verdad yo imprimo cada semana lo mínimo y nunca a teñido problemas en como 9 meses ya de uso
Tengo una impresora de esta convertida para sublimación. Si no vas a imprimir todo el tiempo, aconsejo q 3 veces por semana, algo imprimas. Porque sino es un lío. Me paso. Y me costo mucho tiempo y de tanto imprimir arreglándola, acabe la tinta, se lleno el tanquecito detrás que tuve q cambiarlo.
Entonces cuando no tengo q imprimir, al menos imprimo algo y lo guardo para luego. Como fotos de mis chiquitos para tazas o vasos. ~ gracias a Dios este mes tengo muchos pedidos pero cuando no hay mucho pedido de sublimación porque hago muchas otras cosas más pues algo hay q imprimir. De hecho tengo 2 ecotanks para sublimación y me paso con las 2 al mismo tiempo💔

you can you will just need to find a printable sticker vinyl that works best with converted printers i have only tried so far oracal 1917 from swing designs and its ok not the best. i want to test more soon in the future for a video.

Love your videos and your personality too❤❤❤. Always learning a lot from your tutorials. That said, can you please provide link for the eco solvent roll in this video, not SISER COLOR PRINT EASY PRINTABLE HTV ECO SOLVENT VINYL that is listen in bottom of description, just the roll you demonstrated.
I purchased the 15000 and haven’t converted it yet. I have EPSON SureColor F170 Dye-Sublimation Printer but getting tired of the small foot print 8 1/2 X 11” or 17”. So, I purchased the 15000 because of the large printable paper size and was about to convert it for sublimation until I watch your video and others on Eco Solvent. What I noticed eco solvent ink is in expensive and the vinyl is extremely expensive compared to sublimation paper. This is a concern. I have used Siser Easycolor for certain fabrics that won’t take well with sublimation. Placing the Siser vinyl on top of the fabric, heat & press, and then sublimation print over it (too much work and expensive). Yet, Siser Easycolor too expensive. I think these products can come down on pricing knowing it cost them penny’s to produce (my opinion). So, I’m not sure if I should convert 15000 to eco solvent printing or stay with sublimation. Here are some reasons why:
1. Although months ago or even a few years back it was gaining popularity, but today the trend seems to be dying out. Many eco solvent videos are years old not many with current popularity. Amazon and other retailers have a small supply for the eco solvent ink (Epson converted printers). Plenty of supplies for the vinyl, but ink less than desire for. Plus, the water based Eco Solvent inks have mixed reviews for what is available.
2. I have seen RUclips Content Creators explaining there are issues with bleeding or smearing when printing the vinyl.
3. Wash. Again, content creators had mention good for many washing and others say not (Mixed)
4. I also learned that Eco Solvent Inks will clog more often vs sublimation ink. How true this is not sure. But, was told Eco Solvent Ink printers (Converted Epson Printers) need to run the maintenance each day -cleaning the heads. Can’t let any of the printers using the water based Eco Solvent ink sit for a few days or it will clog either from the tubes or print heads.
If I can get away from doing sublimation and the process to go through in comparison to eco solvent, I would love to consider going this route. That would mean for me not to deal with DTF Powder and other task involved in sublimation. Plus the limitation of sublimation on certain fabrics. What is drawing me to Eco Solvent is the outstanding prints! Yes, what I seen so far the colors pop! Every video I watched the prints look amazing.
Sorry, for a long explanation and finding the right solution. So, what are your thoughts? I really trust your advice and hopefully some guidance.
Hello, the roll i demonstrated in this video actually didn't end up working for this converted method, and i ended up going for the siser color print easy roll, the one in the video i got from a local place here called specialty materials and they do have a website here but it doesn't show pricing. you would have to call if you wanted to try it out,its called poli-printables htv i believe.
yes eco solvent i do like and prefer for shirts but like you just mentioned the materials can get pricey especially for a beginner.
yes i completely understand your concerns and all because the cost to do eco solvent in general is mostly expensive and no one has proven it will always 100% work with the converted route, you know we all have different experiences and opinions and to be this is only a beginner thing for me, anytime i see someone say they want to do this full time i always suggest them to save up and buy the real deal the roland or mimaki eco solvent printers....
i want to say with eco solvent ink i have heard about 50/50 also with sublimation ink on clogging it just depends on the brands formula i want to say.

I just did this exact same thing with my epson et 15000 and used the ecorush, But the colors doesn’t come out sharp like yours, it looks dull.. Do you have any idea why? :/

I would say yes but then again since it’s the converted method not sure how much longer they would last until someone actually tries it

Hi, I bought all the stuff that you have in this video. My question is every time I print on that paper the ink is so watery. I have to wait for it to dry. Is there a setting that I have to do on the printer? Is there a way I have to print without being so watery can you please do a video on how to use that paper with the same printer and how to set it Also do you use the cricket to cut because it doesn’t really cut all the way

Have you removed your rollers yet? I’ve seen some people remove theirs for sublimation and dtf printing. I’ve removed mine on my 2720 for sublimation.
no i never needed to remove the rollers off my printer, it never really became a problem.

I did this with my own printers but a big problem occurred after a few days!!! Ecosolvent paint ate all the hoses of the printer and the entire printer was filled with paint and even this paint melted the plastic of the printer and came out. Have you not faced this problem? Or it just happened to me

Hello! I don’t do the maintenance every day I do it every week but yes you would have to up keep it since it’s a converted printer and not a regular one

Yes there is indeed lots of inks , eco solvent is a ink that is water proof essentially for printing on like decals and HTV transfers no layering required , this method i converted is the desktop version . I’ll have a video soon

Thanks a lot for the video, however, I am honestly left more confused than I was before. Isn't the EcoTank ET-15000 by default an eco-solvent printer? what do you mean by converting it? In addition, you mentioned using *water-based* ink, whereas solvent inks, by design are oil-based. I must have gotten everything wrong and would appreciate your input. Thanks again!
Hello, so no the epson ecotank is considered a regular inkjet printer, therfore it should normally take either pigment or dye based ink in it, eco solvent ink for regulars yes its an oil based but thats for the real eco solvent printers/cutters like the roland models or mimaki... this is just a way to have one of those printers, but at a much lower cost way by converting, (converting we mean adding an ink other than the original one so a 3rd party ink) i hope this helps, the water based eco solvent ink is different than the oil based one because this is the mimick way to do it.

Yes usually I’ve seen people convert epson Ecotanks, workforce models and Ecotank expressions but I only know more on the regular epson Ecotanks
If you already converted a printer to sublimation can you convert it to a eco solvent or would you have to buy another printer??
I would suggest a new printer , prehaps it can mess with the different inks
Or just remove the ink from the old printer. Cause remember at the beginning of the video she said she's been looking for used printers.
Try refilling it with eco solvent ink when its about 1/4 filled or less and run it thru ink cleaning till its fully flushed from sublimation ink, just a guess🤔

I converted my sublimation printer eco tank 15000 and hippo sub ink on sub paper and it won't stick at all to my 60% poly shirt. I don't know what is wrong.

Let me explain the Epson Ecotank 15000 is not a eco solvent printer nor does it come with eco solvent ink , it comes with regular inkjet ink and the reason why we buy the eco solvent water based ink is to convert the printer and make it a converted eco solvent printer to get almost the same effect as the Roland’s or any other real eco solvent commercial grade printer

Evet. I bought a new epson et 15000.And I used the same inks. But a subject in the video was told missing. The printed metharyel was not told. You need special foil, even if you have your burner and ink. This is really annoying.

So what you would need is not a eco-solvent printer you would need to convert a printer to DTF or buy it ready for DTF ink because Eco solvent just as your regular ink printers, they do not print in white ink
