Love the video. Now I think I’m going to get me another 15000 got 2 already. I had a printer for the eco but it was a small one it’s no good now because I did to many print head cleaning. So it no longer prints. It doesn’t have a maintenance tank like the big printers has. I’m convinced to try it again. But with the ink you use. Thank you for the detailed video.

Hello, this video was awesome step-by-step. I followed it and I achieved printing my first Echo saw that T-shirt what part that I didn’t catch was how to get that extra layer on the transfer tape if you are selling images. I noticed you peeled a second layer. Where did the second layer of tape come from?

@Sparktacular Rocks I have and did not like the outcome I used Oracal 1917
I have! I used my very pigmented photo printer from canon the prograf 1000 so not a full pro printer but also not your standard office inkjet. The results were phenomenal!!! I tested by printing a rainbow, which I didn’t have a chance to put the laminate over before my daughter stole it 😂 best test ever! Because she lost it and I found it in the sand about a month later and it had been through rain and very hot sun exposure not to mention my daughters little hands and sandpit and it was completely perfect. I was floored!! I think it’s a lot to do with the inks being a good quality though, I don’t think my little Epson office printer could produce the same results but with the laminate.. just might!
Hi Beverly have you tried to use the new Cricut cut setting yet.? Cricut has now able to cut bigger sizes. So I don’t have to purchase the cutting machine. Now I have a question. How many washes is the Eco-solvent stays on the shirt?

you should be able too just that you would have to test that until you find a printable vinyl that works good with your cups or tumblers

Hey Estefania, no unfortunately you wont be able to do direct to tumblers, eco solvent i love more for shirts and such i would say tumblers i would stick to sublimation for sure.

Hi Beverly…I’m Beverly, too. I will be setting up my Epson ET-15000 this weekend as an eco solvent printer. I’m wondering if I will be able to use my prints on anything other than fabric? Can I use a mug press to press the print onto a mug or tumbler? Is it still possible to print with Eco Solvent ink on paper ? I mean, satin 130g paper or gloss 150g paper and it will not smudge when comes in contact with water ?

Hi, not sure if this is a dumb question but can we put these transfers onto sublimation tumblers or the glass or frosted beer can cups?
no these i feel wont hold up as cup wraps as much thats more for the real eco solvent printers like the roland.
Is there a clear protection film or something you can put over top of them to prevent them from smearing from alcohol like perfume. Which will also give it a high Gloss

I enjoyed your video but I do have questions. The EcoSolvent method here doesn't look much different than sublimation while using easysubli. They both print on white printable HTV allowing you to put them on any color material you want. I currently have an Epson eco tank converted to sublimation, and I use easysubli to make my shirts. Can you elaborate on why this method is better than sublimation? Thanks!
Yes! Ill be purchasing a larger printer here soon and would love to know the difference as well. I’m between sublimation and ecosolvent, right now I’m leaning more with sublimation.
Easy subli just doesn't seem as bright.
Hello, your video has really helped me get setup with my solo, I have one question on the printer itself what size do you select for the paper, I know you mentioned 11x13 for the paper but on my 15000 its only a setting for 11x14 and when printing the image is cut off; like the printer tries to print the whole media size 11x14, Do you think you could help with this?
I been using Eco-Solvent for a few months now so still fairly new, I do like it but I never did the curing method...I usually print, cut, then press right then. What are the benefits of curing it? And is it necessary?
Yes it holds the ink in longer allowing it to let the inks to settle in
One more question any suggestion on what to put on the label for instructions when selling the prints? do you sell the stickers?

I purchased a Solo StarCraft and Epson ET-15000 this week along with the vinyl roll and transfer tape roll. I printed on the vinyl just fine, however, my Solo WILL NOT cut the vinyl. I've wasted sooo much vinyl trying to test it out. What could be wrong with it? I have tried to research what I am doing wrong.

Yes should let prints cure for 24 hours at least and back should turn pink before pressing on shirts ❤

Not crunchy at all, I’ve had one for over a year now and holding up good
Do you know if water based eco solvent works on the following paper: regular office paper, photo paper, satin or matte presentation paper (13x19 usually, like koala brand). Also one weird request is to know if it works on non-heat transfer vinyl like 3G Opaque or JPSS.. Not to use on t-shirts, but for 6x6 stretch canvas. I'd be using HTV for shirts instead.
Hello! Yes the water based eco solvent ink works on photo paper & regular copy paper, I just feel that as for copy paper prints are not as vibrant & also ink has strong smell in general …. Yes I’ve seen people use it on 3g jet opaque transfer sheets

The printer itself is going to work with any cutting machine as long as you software compatible with it it should work, so essentially you would be using the cutting machine software program with the printer

For this specifically I would use the cutting machine software of preference

Hello, its a choice and the reason why i did was due to it lasting longer than regular ink , eco solvent ink is water resistant.

Realistically is it more dangerous to convert your printer to sublimation or eco solvent? I already have a 15000 converted for sub and just bought another that I’m undecided to convert to eco solvent or not. Can I do your same process, but use Oracal 651 White vinyl instead and ti make stickers and get the same results?
it wouldnt work on oracle 651 because its not permanent, thats only for cutting
@Beverly Garcia I'm not sure what you mean. Oracle 651 is permanent vinyl.
Oracal 651 is not printable. The ink would not dry. You would use a printable vinyl.

Is it the better Print Quality against Sublimation ?
The great thing about Eco solvent is that you can actually print your designs onto this printable vinyl, and it can be placed on any colored T-shirt as well as any fabric. Unlike sublimation you’re limited to certain fabrics and colors.

Yes for the most part it’s waterproof and some what of face resistant just depending on how you wash your clothes that’s why it’s a level up from the regular inkjet Tshirt transfers
